http://minerpools.us:8080/
I have added ports for low difficulty and high difficulty on minerpools.us:8080
Low difficulty should only be used for less than 100GH.  stratum+tcp://minerpools.us:3531 -u "Your C-Bit Address" -p x
Normal difficulty should be used for most mining. Will not work reliably for Nicehash!  stratum+tcp://minerpools.us:3532 -u "Your C-Bit Address" -p x
High difficulty should be used for greater than 50TH. Should work well with Nicehash! stratum+tcp://minerpools.us:3533 -u "Your C-Bit Address" -p x

All ports are configured for varr-diff to optimize miner operation once mining has started.
The pool is still running without any fees, so it is as good as solo mining!

FAQ/Issues:

Code:

**What do I need to set up a master node?**

As Jaerky noted bitcoin doesn't have master nodes. What I was trying to say is that we need to have more full nodes.

So to setup a wallet to run as a full node only requires of couple items added to the c-bit.conf file:
server=1 \\This enables RPC
listen=1  \\This allows other wallets to connect

port=8289
rpcport=8288

If you have a firewall then port forwarding will be required to the port configured

Hopefully this makes sense!

**When I try and run the wallet (Windows 64 bit) I get this error.**

http://prntscr.com/ey9i68

I tried adding nodes but it still gives me the same error. I had the old chain on this system but I deleted it. Had the error before and after deleting the appdata folder created by the old wallet.

Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

this problem was faced from day one with the wallet
just create a foder named c-bit into your roaming folder and add this line to your wallet shortcut : -datadir=%appdata%\c-bit

**How to add nodes in wallet?**

1) open up c-bit wallet
2) click "help"
3) Debug Menu
4) Console
5) Type into command:  addnode "24.257.103.100" "add"
6) Press Enter
7) Wait for to sync.

**Do you have a website?**

Yes, you can visit here:  http://www.xct-cbits.com

**Will C-bits get updated as bitcoin gets updated?**

Yes.

**Why is this version only 0.12 right now?**

Our dev is currently updating the commits to 0.13 then 0.14.  Once the version are tested and released, you will see the the links to the download.  We urge you to always update to the most current version.

**So does the block chain start from block #0 or is it just forked off the original btc blockchain?**

it started from scratch, and not a fork off original bitcoin chain.

**Is this an ICO Coin?**

No, you just mine it like bitcoin.

**Why isn't there a linux or OS version of wallet?**

We have community members working on a linux and OS version...please check back soon

**I heard there might be a coinswap switching to POS?**

No, this coin will remain POW and use the same algorithm as bitcoin core.

**Do you plan on getting this coin onto more exchanges??**

Yes, currently you can buy/sell the coin on cryptopia.  Coinexchange.io is in process of installing the coin.  After that we will work on further exchanges to give you more options.

**Who is the Dev?**

Crzybilly is currently our dev working on updating our code.

**Is there a roadmap?**

We will continue to update c-bits along bitcoin core, and follow bitcoin's leadership.

**Why are my transactions stuck/unconfirmed?**

What is a "Stuck" transaction? How are they caused?

A "stuck" transaction is a transaction which has remained unconfirmed for period of time which either the receiver or the sender is uncomfortable with. Stuck transactions can be annoying as it means that recipients often consider the senders to not have paid yet, or the recipient needs the money as soon as possible.

Stuck transactions are typically caused by low transaction fee rates. However other things can cause stuck transactions such as spending from an unconfirmed transaction, having dust outputs in the transaction, or being a double spend of another transaction. If a transaction has a double spending transaction and the double spend confirms, then the transaction will be "stuck" forever as it can never confirm.

**The wallet what i downloaded in the ann does not have active connections.**

./cbit-cli --help | grep default
       Specify configuration file (default: c-bit.conf)
Send commands to node running on <ip> (default: 127.0.0.1)
Connect to JSON-RPC on <port> (default: 8288 or testnet: 18288)
Timeout during HTTP requests (default: 900)

nah, the thread of the other one wants to go POS...and he's not even mining the coin.  Just read the old thread.

it's trash.

We decided to make a new one to keep POW.

and you're right, i'm not a programmer or developer....this is really a rusty rudimentary ANN, the old thread is trash.

So does the block chain start from block #0 or is it just forked off the original btc blockchain?

Because we should be on block 462238 instead of 287051 like in the Cbit block explorer

We need a developer to answer that, I'm not sure.

Oh I see what you're asking....it started from scratch, and not a fork off original bitcoin chain.

This coin was started in 2016 by the original developer.

He's not active anymore.

this is NOT an ICO, you just mine the coin, just like bitcoin.

Check the market in Cryptopia there is swap.

Then what we need to do is get this listed on another exchange.

I sent in an application to be listed in Yobit.

If anyone else knows of other exchanges, please do so.

Okay let's look into that.

If someone wants to organize and gather the funds to get this listed on coinexchange.io, It would be good.

The previous thread wants us to hand over our coins to him through PM, and trust that he will distribute accordingly? what a fucking joke.

Let's get this coin listed elsewhere asap, and keep mining the POW network.
