"Website" needs to be updated on coinmarketcap along with Message board. Not sure if you have the ability to open up a forum or want to, tramese. There seems to be some demand already

Read up on Masternodes. Bitcoin does not have Masternodes. I'm not sure if it is possible for us to add Masternodes to C-bit, or if we should. It would be an interesting alternative to Bitcoin, though. Would be a better question for a developer.

I've hit the giant verified commit of 0.12.1, this commit will take some time to go through as it is 3000 changes and 100 deletions.

Currently our Dev is Crzybilly, who is working on updating the cbit core up to date to the bitcoin 0.14 version

That's all we need really....

once we reach 0.14, then it's just a matter of keeping pace with bitcoin future updates

Finally 2 active connections to C-bit network instead of 1 now....

what I did was

1) open up c-bit wallet
2) click "help"
3) Debug Menu
4) Console
5) Type into command:  addnode "24.257.103.100" "add"
6) Press Enter
7) Wait for to sync.

As Jaerky noted bitcoin doesn't have master nodes. What I was trying to say is that we need to have more full nodes. 

So to setup a wallet to run as a full node only requires of couple items added to the c-bit.conf file:
server=1 \\This enables RPC
listen=1  \\This allows other wallets to connect

port=8289
rpcport=8288

If you have a firewall then port forwarding will be required to the port configured

Hopefully this makes sense!

I tried adding nodes but it still gives me the same error. I had the old chain on this system but I deleted it. Had the error before and after deleting the appdata folder created by the old wallet.

Anybody know what I'm doing wrong? 

this problem was faced from day one with the wallet
just create a foder named c-bit into your roaming folder and add this line to your wallet shortcut : -datadir=%appdata%\c-bit

just create a foder named c-bit into your roaming folder and add this line to your wallet shortcut : -datadir=%appdata%\c-bit

I just sent the 4 nodes I posted to a friend that could not connect. It was not connected for about 5 mo. He added the nodes I sent and the wallet works no problems. He just sent some coins and I received them. The wallet work fine!
