If someone buys 5,000 LGDs on Bittrex, do they automatically have a membership? Or do you have to buy a separate membership somehow? I'm curious about this for friends and business associates who would be in Vegas from time to time (even if I can't be very often).
Yes, ownership of 5000 LGD is sufficient for entry into LegendsRoom with all Discounts. |

I am interested in the coin and have been trying to do a little research about this. How much was the price of this when this was sold prior to being launched as a coin, during the ICO ?
The price of Bitcoin was rising so it had to be re-pegged. At one point I believe it was 2066 LGD for a Bitcoin I believe. If you look over some of the forum comments between 5/15-5/30 it will be easier to gage the price adjustment. Everyone was pleased. |

So when Mayweather fights Vegas is sold out everywhere. Have you looked at hotel prices for the weekend of the fight. Now it is the first ever cross over for boxing and UFC in a boxing ring. James Toney fought Randy Couture in a cage years ago. Connor MacGregor is the biggest UFC star in the world. People will pay thousands to watch the fight on TV and party with celebrities. $LGD allows you to watch the fight with UFC stars and porn stars. What will the premium tables cost for the night? $5000? $10,000? And remember that you need tokens to watch the fight with celebrities. I predict 10k for the best tables. It sounds crazy but that is what people pay in Vegas. It is also mayweather's last fight and he will be 50-0. Then there are the afterparties. Then there is fight week prior to the Saturday fight. $LGD with its deep connects to the UFC will benefit I am guessing.

I read over the OP and I still don't understand the innovation behind this coin other than being affiliated with the Legends club. What tech does it offer and what is the advantage of using LGD over a more established coin like BTC, ETH, etc.?

There is the whole timeshare aspect. You can rent your membership out when you are not there. When the club officially opens, the memberships are quoted on the price of bittrex. It was on the ICO page which I saved. The only place to get the membership is on the exchange. If you don't want to spend for a whole membership, you can spend the tokens in the club and get 20% off. This is a genius way to get circulation of coins. Yes, I expect they will announce other clubs after vegas is up and running. I see tokens at $5.00 and am on the bid up to $2.50. These guys get stupid amounts of press and I also think tourists will buy tokens and forget them which will taken them out of circulation. Check the twitter out. Some of their porn stars are going to accept $LGD for merchandise. If this takes off, it will dwarf the club business. From the website

Its a standard ERC20 Token on Ethereum. The tech aspects are pretty straight forward. 5000 LGD Tokens makes up a Membership to the LegendsRoom. Proof will need to be determined upon entry or when renting the membership out. The incentive is the Token and its rising value in the Market and the ability to rent it out. It would be impossible to use BTC or ETH to accomplish this. Thats like saying you should offer 6000 Memberships for a certain amount of BTC or ETH then issue them back a certain amount of BTC or ETH to represent the Membership. These Tokens have value because they have a real use case because they will get you in the LegendsRoom. Even if you want to pay to get in the LegendsRoom your going to have to pay someone that owns 5000 of them and according to the market and the event they are going to charge you whatever they want and if you want in your going to need to pay their price. Its really a step forward to mainstream for Crypto in my opinion. |
