Italy, 500 Lire, 1993 - 100th Anniversary of the Italian Bank

A really nice and decorative bimetallic coin in XF condition, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Italian Bank. As it turns out, the first ever Bitcoin was issued by Italy (not a surprise given the rampant devaluation of the Lira...). Cheesy

Well, technically, it isn't the Bitcoin symbol, but yes, this looks pretty neat. Grin

Let's agree that it is an early version, which was later improved by Satoshi Nakamoto - actually an officer at the Bank of Italy - during his vacation in Japan. Cheesy
