Im happy that you know quite well how exactly the trading looks, that you need a lot of time to earn anything through that way.
But you said you are not able to do that, so there are basically few options:

You can simply invest the money into bankroll of bitcoin casinos, for example cryptogames.com or bitdice.com.
There is always a possibility to lend your money to other bitcoin users, for some interest as a return. You can do that through bitcointalk.org forum ( marketplace --> lending ) or through some websites.
If you want to choose the second option, then I really recommend you using poloniex lending, because their rates are really great and you are pretty much risk-free, because they cover you up.

i don't recommend putting all your money on one basket. and the worse is there no stable sites to invest. if you don't have time you can invest on some

stable altcoins like ETH, XMR and DASH these ones have proved themselves to be good for a long time investment but i will advise you to be cautious if

you want to keep them for years. my recommended time span is 5-8 months.

1. Invest in hyips! (those that promise more than 1% a day? those are all fake! It's just a ponzi!)

3. Don't trade, if you don't know what you are doing.

This one's true @OP. Even I had been following them as well as their #1 investment BetKing and so far, gained 30% profit over my investment which is quite better than going for trading by yourself with a lot of risks involved. I have also invested some coins in MPAC that was referred to me by my friend and I have made some coins over there too, you can try it out too.

That is the big issue of many threads on bitcointalk.org, because way too many people are giving bad advices, that the best investments is to play dice with some "special" strategy or to put your money into new hyips.

Indeed, it is possible to make money from HYIP, but it is extremely risky, unless you join it for a very short time, which is not even worth it in most cases. Also, it is possible to make money with gambling, but all that strategies are worth nothing, because it is still all about luck and the bankroll. You still lose on long-term.

It is simply not worth it to listen such an advices.

Online investment is very risky, don't put all your eggs in one basket.

You are right man, Putting your all eggs in one basket it's too risky,
Anyways, you are right by saying that Online investments are very risky. I was scammed two time by doing that. I just say that when we want to invest, Only hold what you want to invest  in your wallet and wait for bitcoin price increase or learn how to trade and become a great trader.

You could go ahead and pick 5 gambling sites and invest .1 bitcoin in all of them, all of these sites are going to be making profit in the longterm due to the house edge but it may be risky. Like anything else, with a good amount of risk in these companies, comes the chance for a good amount of reward over a long term time period.

Though if you don't like those kind of investments, you could try alt-coin investing on a certain amount of time basis as I do feel that that would be enough capital to be fully invested in whats going on with altcoins and how much they move everyday.

Yeah, don't put all the eggs in one basket as if one of things you have that you put your money into falls you'd be losing everything in which you worked so hard to earn.

Through one of the link posted by our forum member you can easily understand how to invest in gambling websites and Casinos. Several has said don't go for online investment, everywhere risk is involved. Take your time to decide the earning you expect and find a proper investment site that is trustful. If you find them as an legit investment site then even if they pay low don't think of anything just invest.

It's the best choice to invest in casino bankroll. There isn't any secret on it, just make sure to invest in a casino with many active gamblers and a casino which is trusted and reputable, choose one that is alive for a good time and that have good reputation built here on BitcoinTalk Forum. if 0.5BTC is all you have in bitcoin then all the suggestions are bad for you so far, in my opinion. because they are all taking about an "all in" investment strategy which is not really good. i can suggest investing a portion of it, something like 0.1BTC so that at least you have some decent amount in your possession and take risks on a small, affordable portion.
