what do you mean "BTC is too expensive"? nobody is forcing you to buy 100BTC or a whole 1 bitcoin. you can buy as much as you can and as small as the place you buy at, allows you.
and to go into altcoins you need to have at least some trading experience, they won't magically give you profit.

what do you mean "BTC is too expensive"? nobody is forcing you to buy 100BTC or a whole 1 bitcoin. you can buy as much as you can and as small as the place you buy at, allows you.
and to go into altcoins you need to have at least some trading experience, they won't magically give you profit.

And if he doesn't have trading experience then it will be high risk for him to invest 0.5 btc in altcoins as he will surely make some mistake and choose the wrong coin so if he is new to trading then the best thing is to invest only a small capital and rest keep it safe in wallet for future.

If that's all you have and no time, try the slow way.  Put what you have in several of the oldest, solidest, most reputable (tough call) coins, and autoinvest what you can afford each payday.  HOLD HOLD HOLD.  I hear a lot of 'it's too late, we missed the single boat to good profit, so I don't bother' from barely informed folks.  The stats I've gathered indicate to me it's still really early and there's much profit to come for a bunch of years unless the sun burns out way early.

Yes investing in a casino is profitable but do you think the profit that those investors will gained is worth their wait? For example 30% in year for BTC0.5. That is really small unless OP wants just to make that coins not idle without doing nothing. And that 30% is even not sure if they will got it, even less to that have some possiblity because of the house edge.

I will assume that OP wants an income for not that long period of duration. Investing in a casino, to feel much the profit requires decent capital as small capital is not worth to wait in terms of time that will spend.

I would rather save and hold my bitcoin than investing it on the Online Casinos, because the profit that you could make in that is not that big compare to if you are going to hold your bitcoin and going to wait until its price is going to the sky again. Because investing it on the Online Casinos is a very risky one, though it depends on the site also, but it is still your decision.

Don't invest your money in casinos if you really  want to get some profit, invest your money in trading though it takes time but it will definitely give you  good profit because it is less risky than gambling.

0.5 bitcoin is a really decent amount to start with, as a aspiring trader. The biggest difficulty usually in starting for someone already educated, main roadblock is lack of funds.
But luckily, you dont have to encounter that issue. There are many great ways in which you can get some interest
