On another note, seems like my predictions were wrong, and apparently, Coutinho is a Barcelona player. the agreement was reached on €120m + €20m , sources say he is now on his way to Spain. It will be interesting to see if Real Madrid will finally go for Hazard.

Now who's going to leave Barcelona? Deulofeu could return to Italy (rumours point at Inter), Rafinha could go to Celta, those two are the ones that I think won't have room in the squad with the arrival of Coutinho.

There is news that Coutinho will not join the Liverpool squad that will break to Dubai because he was desperate to move his move to Barcelona soon completed. Really I'm not surprised and not bothered if indeed Coutinho joined Barcelona this month. In fact I already wanted him to go 6 months ago.

And now it's officially announced that Coutinho is new signing of FC Barcelona. Well, such big transfers rarely happens on winter transfer window. As fan of Barca, I'm happy. But it's a little strange decision. Coutinho will be not able to play in Champions league this season, because he already played for Liverpool this season. true it will be interesting thing if Real Madrid answers Barcelona signing of Coutinho with a mega signing like Hazard it's rumored that he refused a second renew offer that makes him the highest earner in the club but the problem is I doubt that Chelsea will let him leave in January also it's not beneficial enough for Madrid to get him in winter. They could try to work with the current players for this season and at summer they could get him or Kane or even both if they sell Cristiano or Bale if someone did not perform well enough in the second half Salah is another possible target for them but I doubt that Liverpool could sell him this time after Coutinho leaving.

Took me a while but I eventually recovered from the heartbreaks of losing El Nino and Suarez... for some reason I don't think I'll even need the time to get over Coutinho. All were great servants, and I hope Coutinho, like the others who left before him, will always recognise Liverpool played a huge part in getting them to where they're at. I'm still gutted, of course, but I guess the months of speculation have made the pain easier to bear. He still gave everything in his final months so no complaints there.

I do agree there's little logic in the move NOW. Champions League with Liverpool is simply going to be electric and that's one of the things Coutinho will miss out on. He must surely want to challenge for something - La Liga doesn't quite need the same mettle (given where Barca's at now).

Barcelona to replace Neymar has practically spent 300M for Dembelè + Coutinho!
It is really absurd to spend about 150M for Coutinho who will not be able to play the champion's league this year considering that the Liga is already almost won.

Now it's time for Real Madrid to make a big buy, just to show everyone that they are the most powerful team in the world.

not a lot of top players that can Real Madrid can bring in January because they currently have a chance for UCL which is where most the important players playing so they can not bring someone that could bring something extra on the table Sanchez is a good choice for the Blancos but there is not any rumors linking the two Only Icardi have been linked much more the Argentinian striker definitely will help strengthening the attack where's they currently lacks Benzema should not be a starter for the rest of the season they given him his fare chances and it's time for him to leave o wanted him to leave for long time before Higuain I knew it was not the best choice selling him in favor for Benzema.
There is also Belotti still available but this season he was not as good then the last. I would love to see RM making a move for Lyon Attacking midfielder Nabil Fekir he is doing great and eligible to UCL also.

He refused to play with the reason for a back injury "which in fact" he did not hurt anything. He lied to everyone just to smooth his way out. Although he can ignore this and dismiss, but this is not really a minor issue. Beware Barcelona, he's been lying to Liverpool, he has a bad habit that may be done again in the future.

Sevilla wants Batshuayi in loan from Chelsea said this move go through I expect from Conte looking for a better replacement Carroll is a decent player very strong in Aireal duel's but rest just average so i don't think he is a good fit for Chelsea and he wouldn't work well with their playing style. Also he is a type of player that Moyes likes as he plays 9 at the back and a lone Striker to throw balls for with Chicharito out of form since joining the Hammers this season so they still needs Carroll for survival so I don't think that they will sell him or Chelsea to make a move on him they Better move for Vardy or other quality Striker that could challenge Morata for first spot.

I don't really blame the footballers, not all get paid like Ronaldo and Messi look at the wages Tottenham players earn and after all they have a family to support to, I am really surprised why is no big club buying him, like Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United. What a waste of talent.  But whatever brings him the most money before he's 40 I guess...  It still sucks tho.  I bet he won't be happy after a year or two.
