If Lionel Messi returns to Barcelona for real, it would be really interesting. Because his old teammate Xavi is managing the team now and it would be interesting to play under his management for Messi. And Xavi is building a solid team again after having a problematic period. Messi is of course always welcomed by Barcelona. However, I'm not sure whether Barcelona have enough money to re-sign him. As we all know, they are not financially stable now. If Messi doesn't go back there, I'd love to watch him at Manchester City. 

Last year, Messi was a highly sought after player. A lot has changed with the happenings of this season. It is seeming like Messi is actually not the god he was a while back. He seems so knackered and out of touch with scoring goals which one of his greatest attributes. Even with his high wages, how many top teams in the top 5 leagues in the world with consider getting Messi as a wise investment, I can't really picture any in my head.

I have to say that playing for PSG has certainly deteriorated the performance of Lionel Messi. you know he is still a great player, the actual problem is that the playstyles of PSG did not suit him at all. A lot of time his teammates could make one-two pass with him but they took the shot themselves.

I love the time it seemed like Messi forgot that he was not in Barcelona. I really think going back to Barcelona he's going to benefit both Lionel Messi and Barcelona but probably that's not going to happen.

Dunno how accurate is that news but I don't think they want him in the team to score goals but maybe to convince other players to join Newcastle, as an assurance that the team will play for the first place next season. Well imo better to throw that money on Haaland, Vlahovic although he freshly joined Juve, Lukaku might be useful too...

I wouldn't blame him one bit if he wants back to Barca.
If the Neymar rumours have any truth to them and he could be released before the 2025 contractual commitment he has at PSG, the new castle owners would not have any problems paying the penalty amount back to the team so he could play for them.
And so that would start a domino effect to begin the disbanding of the big three at PSG... MNM no more.
Then Mbappe would just need to find a new place he would like to play with because he is the youngest of the mighty trio.

In other news, Arsenal wants to increase the wages of Saka who has been very good for the team this season from £30k to £125k.
For me this is a very good move, because with his current form, many teams from England and even other leagues will want him and they could have easily enticed him with a higher wage. At the moment, Saka seems very happy at arsenal, and has earned his place as an important player in the team, It would have been really sad to see him leave the club at the end of the  season just when he is top form as a result of low wage. We need to keep him for the champions league next season.

It was a surprise for me that Psg was eliminated by Real Madrid.  They had an advantageous score in the first match against Real Madrid, but were eliminated after losing 3-1 in the rematch.  They will now only play for the league 1 championship.  It is almost certain that they will win.  There is a big difference between them and the second team.  They will lose Mbappe at the end of the year.  They should make a transfer to fill his place.  Now what I'm wondering is who will Psg add to the team next year?

It was a surprise for everyone that Real Madrid managed to beat PSG, specially that last goal coming so soon after the second one really made PSG really tremble and not recover from the defeat at all. Mbappe was definitely sure about leaving, I have no doubt about that but after that game, I am 100% certain that he made his decision a lot easier for sure, he wanted to leave and he has a great reason to leave right now.

With Mbappe on the roster, Real will definitely be a lot better team next year. Not like they are bad, they are at the top of La Liga right now and managed to beat PSG to further in champions league, but with Mbappe they will also be a lot better and easier to be there.
