Main speculations so far point exactly on this direction. It seems that Barcelona have given up on the hunt for Sterling, I think because apart from that they have now bought 3 new strikers, namely Ferran, Auba and Adama, the price of sterling is also quite difficult for them. Glad that some team signed him. I was glad when couple of months ago reports were that he was training at Arsenal training grounds so sparked some rumours about Arsenal signing him but Arteta turned down those rumours then.
