I think it's been clear for a while - since Gerrard signed Coutinho - that Suarez was next on the target list. It's a good move for Suarez, he's 35 so nearing the end of his career at the top. If he goes to Villa, he gets a reunion with his friends, has a manager who knows him and values him, a league he knows, and he's good enough to be a vital player for the team instead of just sitting warming the bench as he might do at a top club. Of course he'd have to take a pay cut, but that's the only stumbling block really.

Not sure if this info was posted itt before.  But just dropping by for a little tidbit.  And I didn't know this until a friend told me about it...  So Erling Haaland's dad is Alfie Haaland who used to be a Man City player himself and he was also the captain.  Besides the money, it could be one of the reasons why he chose to sign with City over the bigger clubs like Real Madrid.  So yeah, with that deal finished, next deal to be made is extending Pep's contract by at least a couple of years.

There is as of yet no official statement on the future of Mbappe, as is expected there is always going to be quite a lot of rumors making the rounds, but from what i read online, the player is set to make an announcement on his future in a few weeks, i read he will do that before he links up with the French National team soon. That announcement really needs to come quick enough, as the rumors over the past months have been quite much, time to settle it once and for all.

A part of me tells me that Mbappe is ambivalent of what he wants to do, if he should go or stay, i quite understand his situation as players try to be as careful as possible in taking decisions such as this.

I think Bayern Munich is trying to take time and decide what they are going to do because I believe they are going to get a player who is going to be really good for the team and will be able to understand the playstyle of the team. So I think it is better if they don't rush anything and I really like their plan to take things slow. I believe they are trying to get a player who is actually good and not overrated.

I would not say that he can not longer play in this system, because the system has not changed. Rather, he would only be a supplementary player and that is certainly not the role in which he sees himself.

Honestly, I don't think Paul Pogba moving to City is not going to happen because last what I heard was Juventus is targeting him and I think Pogba will also be interested to go to Juventus instead of Manchester City.
Because I really don't find the right place for him in Manchester City but obviously I might be wrong.  I just think his playstyle will not suit the team and vice versa.

I would also like to see pep stay but I really don't know because after the loss in the Champions League things really don't look so good for Manchester City and pep.

Erling Haaland is surely going to be a great asset for Manchester City but he needs to stay fit to play the whole season because English Premier League is a lot more fast-paced compared to Bundesliga and it is easy for players to get injured.
