Stoke City would be crazy to sign Rooney even for half of that amount. What will he add to the team?

If they have have that kind of money to burn on one player, there are better players out there, on lower salaries that have more to offer Stoke than Wayne.

Only the likes of Chelsea and City outside United can afford Rooneys wages, and there is no way any of these clubs will sign him. Not only is he slow now, his wages are a burden and that is why United are getting rid of him.

I don't see him going to Everton,  unless he takes a huge pay cut. Rooney is off to China or the MLS. Don't believe everything thing you read. 99% of transfer gossip is fake news.

Guess who's open to making a transfer to Man United?  With David De Gea nearing a move to Real Madrid at the end of the season, United have taken interest on none other than Joe Hart.  Imho, as a City fan it's a thumbs down.  But for the entertainment factor of the 2017/18 season?  YES!  And a move for him does make sense.  Hart should be playing for a top club.

I cant see how they could value him at £45m. I'd be surprised if he can make any premier league 11 starting line up for any team now.  If the price is something high its to do with kit sales or sponsorship.

It was just a matter of time.  United were also after him as a replacement for David de Gea in case he left.  But what footballer wouldn't want to be managed under Pep Guardiola?

So it's two down and maybe two or three more to go for City?  They need a left back, a right back and maybe even someone to play as holding midfield.  Gundogan is still injured afaik.
