I read reports that Chelsea president Todd Boehly wants to sell his stake in the club. He spent more than €1.5 billion in two years. Things didn't go the right way for him and Chelsea suffered huge failures. I'm sure he regrets stepping into this field, but I don't believe it's the right time to give up because Chelsea are not getting promising results and are at the bottom. If the team gets some good results he might get better offers. If he makes a sale at this point, it will be a bottom sale. Did any of us sell Bitcoin at $3,000 in January 2019? Smiley
I just heard about this, but if he is so quick to sell Chelsea again then it seems like he has given up on what he has started. I think he should reconsider it, because it has not been long and there is still a lot to be gained. Initially Boehly came to Chelsea to do business, if I am not mistaken he even made a statement that business is more important than achievement. But I think he forgot, that when the club he owns can achieve, then he can do even bigger business. But it is very unfortunate when they can't bring Chelsea at least for now. They should be able to think more balanced between business and achievement, because both will be very successful if they are on the same line.
Todd Boehly is not alone in acquiring Chelsea from Roman Abramovich. Chelsea majority shares are owned by Clearlake Capital (Behdad Eghbali and Jose E Feliciano), while the remaining 38.5% is owned by Todd Boehly. As The Guardian said, both of them cannot sell Chelsea to a third party, and the biggest possibility is the purchase of each other.

If you look at the investment made by Chelsea at this time, especially in the transfer window, it seems that nothing is happening behind the scenes, Chelsea looks quite ambitious to win trophies. I believe, they will not release their respective shares in the near future, and now reportedly Chelsea top brass are looking for a resolution to avoid a conflict that could have fatal consequences for Chelsea future development.

Todd Boehly wants Chelsea resolution as Clearlake relationship breaks downhttps://www.theguardian.com/football/article/2024/sep/07/chelsea-clearlake-capital-todd-boehly-behdad-eghbali-relationship-breaks-down

Now there are too many speculations circulating with different answers from many sources including Osimhen himself, this is too much if it is just a matter or fabrication from people who do not like Osimhen who wants to develop and continue his career much better in the future.
I am very curious who actually made up the story and made it seem like Osimhen's transfer has many walls. Undecided
If it's from Osimhen himself, I think we can believe it. I also will believe it if the source is the former footballer or a famous person who can be trusted. But if there is no valid source, just ignore the news. If we have too many sources about Osimhen's issues recently, I think the media which have the role spreading the issues. They take the advantage from any news/issues about Osimhen, people are curious about it. However as a football fan, I don't really care with the news/issues, I only want to see Osimhen playing again with his best form. I don't care about the story behind the transfer, but I want he to play again in a top team in Europe in the next season.

Todd Boehly wants Chelsea resolution as Clearlake relationship breaks downhttps://www.theguardian.com/football/article/2024/sep/07/chelsea-clearlake-capital-todd-boehly-behdad-eghbali-relationship-breaks-down

Chelsea has not had peace since it was forcefully taken away from Roman Abramovich in 2022. Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital his partners promised to take Chelsea to the next level after they completed its £4.25bn takeover of the club. Boehly became the interim sporting director which led to a wasteful buying spree that brought no success. It is sad to see that cultural differences have caused deteriorating relationships which is now irreconcilable. The only known solution is for any party to sell off their stake to any partner. Since Todd Boehly has the lesser shares (38.5%), he would have to sell his stake to his partners Behdad Eghbali and José E Feliciano.

The club is still going through a lot of challenges. The coach is trying to cut down players, poor signings and they are not playing well. A leadership problem will make their problems complicated just as it affected Manchester United during the Glazer sell saga.

Bayern Munich actually wants a Leverkusen defender. But this transfer season Leverkusen did not let him go. He is Jonathan Tah, he has been with Leverkusen for 9 years. His contract with Leverkusen is until 2025, in his explanation he will not extend his contract with Leverkusen. Currently he is 28 years old, he wants to try his hand at another club and maybe Munich is his goal for next season. Of course, de Ligt's departure will leave 1 slot empty. It seems that Kompany is interested because Tah played well during Euro 2024 with Germany.

Source: https://www.bavarianfootballworks.com/2024/9/9/24231860/jonathan-tah-transfer-bayern-munich-germany-bayer-leverkusen-euro-2024-de-ligt-manchester-united
Bayern's desire for Tah actually occurred from the beginning but until this summer transfer closed there was no meaningful agreement between Leverkusen and Bayern which made Tah remain at Leverkusen this season although there had previously been rumors for Tah who was rumored to have agreed a personal agreement with Bayern but there was no further news on this matter.

Now he just has to focus on remaining professional at Leverkusen despite the desire to leave but because the current contract is still running then Tah must be more able to maintain an attitude by defending Leverkusen just like before.

But for the Bundesliga there is nothing different actually when there is one player who is considered potential, it will definitely belong to Bayern. and this is like a tradition where situations like this have always happened in recent seasons even though not all deals end well but I believe if Tah is still interested in Bayern then it is likely that the winter transfer will also still be crowded with rumors of Tah and Bayern in the end.

https://dailypost.ng/2024/09/08/epl-arteta-reportedly-ended-arsenals-interest-in-osimhen-after-public-spat-with-finidi/

I am glad that Victor Osimhen finally secured a club after all the delays and tensions. Seeing this headline today, I think it is worth discussing because it has some lessons. To be a successful player, talent is not enough, character is more important. Victor made some mistakes that affected his transfer, he has anger management issues. His unguided comments about some coaches he has worked under are not okay. Coaches should have the right human management skills but no coach would like to work under a player who cannot control his emotions.
This news is fresh out of the oven and I think Arteta should stop his interest in Osimhen. It just ruins the atmosphere in the dressing room which is so harmonious and I don't think he wants that to happen. If Osimhen comes to Arsenal it will only mess up everything he has worked so hard to build and many players will feel uncomfortable with his behavior.

I also heard that Osimhen has parted ways with his agent and he blames his current situation on the agent's poor handling of his transfer. However, if you want to be a star then you don't need to complicate your own future and focus on fixing your less than professional attitude. When Osimhen returns from Napoli I'm not sure the offers will be as abundant as before.
It's done. He's at Galatasaray now, so let's move on. Osimhen's got talent but the kid's got some growing up to do. The drama with Napoli, the agent issues - it's a mess. He wants the Premier League, fine. But Arsenal? Not the right fit right now. Arteta's got that attack humming. Saka, Martinelli, Jesus - they're clicking. Throwing Osimhen in there could screw up the whole chemistry. Plus, the guy's gonna cost a fortune. Is it worth the risk? I don't think so

Arsenal's on the right track. They don't need a flashy signing to mess things up. Stick with what's working, build on that foundation. That's how you win titles, not by chasing every big name that comes along
What a really good attacking player has gone through is pure drama, on the one hand the managers and the club in particular have created a huge drama on this player and have damaged him in my opinion. After all, even if a young player has come to Galatasaray on loan, he will perhaps adapt here and continue to achieve new successes in Europe with other players, this is actually my wish and desire.

I think the big clubs will be very upset about missing Osimhen.

Most online media spread news without being supported by valid information, but some of them can be trusted, especially if they quote from a reliable source. Most of these sport news website make a living by writing stories with little substance and use clickbaits to drag the attention of viewers. Fabrizio Romano has been consistent with his reports. He always gets his facts right before posting, 96% of his tweets are accurate, which is a very commendable character to have in his line of work. Many people trust his reports on the transfer market, the number of Fabrizio Romano twitter status links on this thread is proof of that.

Most online media spread news without being supported by valid information, but some of them can be trusted, especially if they quote from a reliable source. Sometimes this is why I tend to like reading news from the club's official website rather than online news from these media. They are only interested in the interests of football fans and exploit hot rumors to increase traffic to their sites full of advertisements.

So as a solution, I like reading news from several sources and usually Fabrizio Romano is a good source to use as a reference. While other sources, just visit the official website of each club instead of reading random news on google search.

I can agree with you here. If you want reliable sources, better visit their official club websites. At least, they won't give you false information. Because when you try to read outside sources, definitely, there are opinions already and it can vary how a person is looking at the situation.

People are judgmental by nature, so they can give you some insights that are not really happening. Someone can always give his thoughts on the matter but check the references or sources. As much as possible, quote the exact words from the people involved. Because translating it can already give a new meaning.

https://dailypost.ng/2024/09/08/epl-arteta-reportedly-ended-arsenals-interest-in-osimhen-after-public-spat-with-finidi/

A player should respect his manager always but Osimhen has the bad character of being very arrogant. It doesn't matter what your coach says or do to you, you have to be very professional always and if you want to react, address it in a very professional way so your reputations doesn't get damage. Talent isn't everything a player needs, he needs the right behaviour to be shown always because you might not like what is happening but you have an image to protect and no manager will like to bring a disrespectful player to his club as it might make the dressing room to starts being disrespectful to him too when Osimhen gets away with being disrespectful.

Actually since this news came into light, there have been much discussion on who has made the most terrible decisions between Todd Boehly  and Behdad Eghbali and it seems that Behdad Eghbali as made much of it, base on news on X(Twitter).
Ironic as it seems now I think many of us Chelsea fans will rather opt for Todd Boehly  to take full control from the fact that most bad decisions as been from the other though I still don't know the sources from this information trending on X.
The two will either come to agreement or one will mostly sell their shares and I think this will be Behdad Eghbali since Todd Boehly  has much support not just from fans but also from other big names after he review his plans for the club especially building a new stadium.
As ot seems now Clearlake are offering to buy Todd Boehly shares https://x.com/brfootball/status/1833196610446111101?t=sfyk3mAsM74OQ28ra8nfJw&s=19

It seems that it is not just a matter of money because if Leverkusen really wanted a bigger value, Bayern Munich should be able to afford it, as they get quite a big income from the deal of De Ligt and Mazraoui who went to Man United, and also because Munich has been wanting Tah for a long time.

Tah and Munich have reached a personal agreement, but unfortunately, the event had to fail because Bayer Leverkusen could not find a deal with Munich. I think Bayer Leverkusen still really needs Jonathan Tah because apart from having to defend their title, they also have to play in the Champions League this season.

Latest rumors, Jonathan Tah refuses to extend his contract with Leverkusen, which means he will be a free agent next season, and that is clearly a loss for Leverkusen (they will lose one of their best players for free).

I have earlier anticipated that there is going to be a fall in trust between the shareholders reason been that Todd Boehly calls the shot at the club, I think it is just like how Manchester United hierarchy are. He Todd Boehly has been giving the club’s sporting rights and everything on the sporting aspect is been handled by him. If we look at the way he handles the signing of Chelsea players and who he sidelined the some staffs it will only cause problem between him and the other share holders.

I might be too biased but I don’t also like his way of dealings, he is quite generating revenues for the club but with the signings that Chelsea have done I don’t see them challenging for the league tittle in a closer future and that could be frustrating for the other shareholders. They need to actually come to resolution because he can’t buy them out. The first thing they need to do is higher qualified people to handle the daily affairs so that the shareholders can all go back and not interfere in the day to day running of the club

Jonathan Tah is Bayern Leverkusen most reliable defender last season and he is also one of the leaders in the club so letting him leave will be a huge blow for Bayer Leverkusen and that’s why they took the risk of keeping him even with his contract expiring next season. Tah will leave and probably they will find replacement before then and that’s why they took the risk

Smiley
It’s too early to start regretting taking over the club because Chelsea is a very big and prestigious club. Chelsea may be struggling to win crucial games and return to glory days but I believe they can get back on track with just a few changes in the club. Selling off his shares now will only mean he is ready to incurr a huge loss because of the current state of the club.

Now with Jonathan Tah actually at the end of his career with Leverkusen because his contract is running out, it would indeed be quite reasonable even though Bayern have gotten the green light in a private agreement with Jonathan Tah but it looks like they will try to hold this to a free transfer next season.

Leverkusen are still unable to extend the contract of this player even though if we look at the performance shown previously where last season they were quite superior, we can actually see that in the end he is still very useful for Xabi but it is difficult to try to offer a new contract to this player because of his desire to find a new adventure and of course he has been tempted by the offer from Bayern.
If a new contract cannot be agreed then it is possible that Tah could be released in the middle of the season but it could also be an option to wait for a free transfer for Bayern if they are still interested in this player.

Even the fact that they don't have equal shares of owing Chelsea, is another major problem, well, since the other parties involved said they're not willing to liquidate their shares, the only way forward is for them to come into resolution, else they'll do their themselves harm because if the executives of Chelsea start having problems, it definitely gonna affect their investments on Chelsea football club. This happens to be one of the disadvantages of business collaboration because at some point there may arise a conflict of interest among the major stakeholders of the club.

“Victor Osimhen is not greedy. He never asked for £500,000 a week from Chelsea"- Footballer, Mikel Obi reveals

More stories about Osimhen’s transfer saga keep coming up on the internet. Even after Osimhen has made the move to Galatasary, pundits and sports media are still talking about why the Napoli striker transfer to the premier didn’t work and his future after his loan to Gala ends. We were told the deal with Chelsea broke off because Osimhen was asking for 500k and the club would not break their wage structure for Osimhen. Mikel Obi, in his podcast, has said that is false. What do you think? Are these guys just making up these stories?
Now there are too many speculations circulating with different answers from many sources including Osimhen himself, this is too much if it is just a matter or fabrication from people who do not like Osimhen who wants to develop and continue his career much better in the future.
I am very curious who actually made up the story and made it seem like Osimhen's transfer has many walls. Undecided
Apart from the salary or wage structure, other factors like the club’s current state in terms of overall performance and stability may have influenced Osimhen’s stubbornness regarding the wages Chelsea were offering. I think it’s fair to demand what you think you’re worth, if he was to move to Chelsea, and not play in the champions league,  the pay should be worth it.
