Galatasaray are lucky at the end of the day, been able to get the former Napoli star Man to sign for the club on a one year loan deal with appropriate deal set out. I would say this is huge for Galatasaray, and also shocking from Victor Osimhen, unable or he failed to play for the EPL side and turning down a huge offer from Saudi Arabia. It preferably that Victor Osimhen moved to Galatasaray than he remained in Napoli where he's presence is no longer valued, that would even be a bad case for the young star because, I doubt how he will get fit to play if he's being left on the bench until next summer transfer. Galatasaray is a better option club to join in my opinion right now than moving to the Saudi professional league that has less attention and doesn't play in the European league competition, here the likelihood of other European clubs coming for him is higher if he continues his scoring of goals.

The problem is that Galatasaray cannot afford to bring him in because his price and salary are too expensive, we know Osimhen wants the same salary as Napoli offers so every club will consider the request. I never expected this happening anymore. Well, this is far better than playing with the academy all throughout this first phase of the this season. Chelsea should have signed him but they fail to realize that he is more like that kind of player similar to Didier Drogba. The offer from them was honestly was to poor for such a quality player.
At least they'll be in the European Competitions which is far better than playing for Chelsea. I'm not so certain about it if they're involved in Champions League Competition this season but if they're, it's a good upgrade for Victor Oshime in the next six months. Galatasaray is also the biggest club in Turkey. Godspeed to Victor Oshime!

Of course it is way better than rotting there without playing for Napoli's main team. Chelsea, Liverpool and PSG all wanted to sign Osimhen. But there was a common problem for all of them, the asking price. Napoli wanted his release clause to be bought out which was 130 million euros. All these teams found this amount too much naturally and stepped down.

Mourinho says Osimhen has a lot of similarities to Didier Drogba and he thinks he can even be better than him if he continues to improve. Galatasaray are competing in the Europa League. Osimhen will aim to make capital out of them obviously.

I was reading the story that was created in Naples with Osimhen, the words of the brother-in-law were these: "Thank you ADL and Conte for excluding him, he made Napoli toxic!", he accused Napoli of being toxic when he was the one in the first place having wanted to leave immediately, the club rightly moved to find a replacement, it was his decision to go away from the squad since he was looking for another team and now he's complaining, it doesn't seem right to me!

He forget that he's just an one season wonder, not like Mbappe who always consistent become the best player in PSG for six years. Osimhen has a playing victim character, this is not good, I think he might end up like Paul Pogba or Neymar, he know that he was one of the best player, but not want to be consistent anymore.

The fact that no team wants him should show him that he is not a great player at all. In the end he will leave of course, either the team will sell him (most likely) for whatever price offered, or he will just leave when his contract ends, but we will see him not do that greatly for a long time without a doubt.

I think it needs to be pointed out that a loan deal until winter break is still possible for him as well, not going to be that crazy because he is not going to play at Napoli anyway, so a loan deal wouldn't be the end of the world. I know a six month loan is not ideal in most cases, and I understand that it may not be a good thing for most of the people, but it's clear that we are going to see him not play at Napoli, so instead of just sitting at home all day, going to a team, even if just for training purposes, would be better than not being in the squad. I didn't expect Osimhen to dock in the Turkish Super League with Galatasaray, of course the choice is very situational, but I can't understand why he rejected the loan offer submitted by Chelsea earlier. I think this player really deserves to play in big teams. but now he has to be thrown into a club that has failed to even progress further in the Champions League. Seriously it is disheartening to see the current 8th ranked best player in the world by Balon D’Or and CAF best player of the season been treated this way, first I blamed him for not taking Chelsea deal but later when the heard Chelsea were offering him a deep pay cut and Napoli didn’t want balance up the rest then I knew he was right for refusing it. Osimhen will be making a smart move by going to Galatasaray because his contract will have a termination clause in January. So he will be able to go to the EPL at the end of January, which he can't do for now because of the costs. Osimhen's price is too high in my opinion and European clubs don't want to pay too much for him. As a result, they are negotiating hard for his price.

Chelsea's salary cut is not out of disrespect for him but out of concern for Chelsea's financial situation. The only place where Osimhen's star will shine is in the EPL. I can't wait to see him in the EPL in January.

If Osimhen produces good results there is a chance he could be made permanent next season.
But if the quality of the game he is aiming for is not up to expectations then his career will be further dimmed as a loan like this would not benefit him.

Just wanted to add some details about his contract as mentioned about. I posted this on another thread, but some reports suggest that there is a clause in his loan contract that Osimhen can leave in January as long as there are interest from 10 big clubs (including but not limited to Chelsea, Arsenal, etc). Basically it suggest that he's not considering to stay in Galatasaray for long term. Some suggest that this clause suggest Osimhen believes he's very good footballer and won't drop his level for the next 6 months or so. Whether that is true or not, he certainly has some confidence. CMIIW.

He did already agree and the transfer has been completed. It has been announced just hours ago, but still I think what a downfall that was for a striker who was supposed to be the next European superstar in a team like Real Madrid. Now he is playing for Galatasaray Istanbul because he is left without any other options. Going to be interesting to see for how long he will be playing in the Turkish League, but I somehow can't imagine that it will be for very long.

But as it seems there are some interesting details involved. Napoli wants Osimhen to first extends his contract with Napoli for one more year until 2027 and then they let him go for a zero loan fee if Galatasaray covers his salary. What a weird transfer is that? That's a lot of drama, but the best that could happen to him now I guess as he is still guaranteed his salary.

Napoli says that if he returned from the loan period next summer, their negotiation position would be really bad because there would be only one year of contract duration left. That is why he first had to agree to extend his contract until 2027. Very interesting and forward looking move by Napoli.

Going to Galatasaray is Osimhen way to escape from Napoli even though it was only 4 months (other rumors say 12 months) he was loaned but rather than being silent and not playing there was no other choice. Moreover Osimhen was a little selfish because he didn't want to lower his salary, several negotiations ended at the same point without any clarity. Napoli took a firm stance and gave him a difficult choice, both parties took the middle path. I'm sure Galatasaray is not Osimhen final destination, he hopes to return after all the situations have calmed down.

Galatasaray may be a temporary intermediary club after that when there is a club that wants to sign him he may accept the offer, or it could be that he will be happy to stay at the club now even though there is no purchase option.
