They had to, at one point I remember they had like 40+ players, they can't realistically keep up with that, so they are now getting rid of some of the players.

So far 7 players are sold, and they made about 150 million from those sales, not many teams have done something like that, and the average is over 20 million per player. Downside is that they also bought 8 players, which isn't really making the team number drop, they still have way too many players. This is why I am sure that they are going to sell at least five more players.

You can remember when the new management took over the club's ownership and had to overhaul the existing players in the club. It didn't took them more than a season to accomplish that, so if the Chelsea management really wants to sell any number of the players they have right now it wouldn't be hard for them to do so before this summer transfer window closes. I think they have plans on loaning out some of these players to have them gain more matured experience to later come back and play in the team.

It seems you put so much positivity toward Sesko. I'm wondering whther he's gonna be another flop like Zirkee or Hojlund. His stats really impressed me at Sporting, yet if we're tracking his track record in PL. He was very often being benched by Brighton.
Even Brighton decided to sold him to the Sporting. That's the reason that raises my doubt to him.

Bradley Barcola, such a lovely player but I seriously doubt if PSG will be willing to let him go. His one of the integral part of the PSG attack and sometimes comes in as a substitute player for either Doué or Kvaratskhelia. And he has impressed very much. But the thing is, this is football and if PSG sees that the offer is right, they might actually cash in on him and look for a replacement for a lesser fee.

Bradley Barcola is an important player for PSG, and anytime he comes in as a substitute player, he always puts in a good performance for PSG. I believe PSG will not be in a hurry to allow him to move to Liverpool this summer because if either Doué or Kvaratskhelia is injured, Luis Enrique will use Bradley Barcola in either Doué's or Kvaratskhelia's position. Liverpool shouldn't waste their time in trying to sign Bradley Barcola this summer because he's a backup player for Luis Enrique.

Yes, I think that Paris Saint-Germain is not the classic club that wants to make a capital gain, simply because it doesn't need it and it realizes that it can do so easily without selling off the players it already has available, in fact it buys just as many.

It's very understandable as to why they don't actually make capital gains and funny enough we still don't understand fully as to why the league and UEFA doesn't punish them for breaking FFP rules. All I can say is good luck on his move to Villarreal because he will be greatly missed just as you have rightfully said, and Declan rice is who is going to miss him the most since he is good at covering his shit anytime he plays. All his time at arsenal was largely overshadowed by injuries, and I believe that it's one of the major reason arsenal didn't think of retaining him even how they know that he is very impactful in that arsenal midfield.

I think you are mistaken Luis Enrique to Hansi Flick. Luis Enrique is actually the manager of PSG that won the champions league final, won their league title and cup, and lost to Chelsea in the FIFA club world cup final. On the other hand Hansi Flick is the manager of Barcelona. That being said, I think Luis Enrique is going to win the award. His achievements with PSG last season can't be overlooked. And I don't think anyone will think he doesn't deserve the award.

Chill dude! you're actually talking about someone who was not managing PSG. If you meant about Enrique, yes he's PSG's manager, but you said Flick which was Barcelona's manager.

As for the choice, i'd be ruling out Conte and Slot as their result not really impressed me at this moment. I put Luis Enrique/Maresca as the top, then followed by Flick. This looks matching.

Well today Manchester United fans are celebrating the signing of Benjamin Sesko. He is now seen as their new Messiah. Well I won't blame them because just like every other club their fans are supposed to be happy. If we remember very well, this same Zirkzee and Hojlund were also celebrated the same way Benjamin Sesko is being celebrated. I just hope that Benjamin Sesko won't also flop like Zirkzee and Hojlund who can't be trusted anymore?

I don't think this will be up for so many debates. They all have done incredibly well but it can only be won by one manager and it's usually the manager that performs the most that will be awarded with it. Luis Enrique has been exceptionally good and having lead his team to winning 4 trophies across all competitions, first of its kind in the clubs history and to top that, his team won their first ever Champions League trophy. In no doubt, Luis Enrique will surely win this award I'm certain of it.

If you think Hesi Flick deserves the awards because of his team performance without a star player, then who is Lamine Yamal? Is he not a star player? I think we shouldn’t use that to judge, even if we are going to use that, then Luis Enrique deserves it more than Henson Flick because he won the Champions League and still lead his team PSG to the UEFA Club World Cup final against Chelsea.

I personally think Luis Enrique deserves the award because most of the coaches that do win this awards are been awarded based on the number of major European trophies won by the manager in a season, and if you look at the nominees, Arne Slot won just the EPL, Antonio Conte also just won the Serie A; while Enzo Maresca won both the FIFA Club World Cup and the UEFA Europa Conference League making the number of trophies he won to be two same as Hensi Flick that won the Laliga and the Copa Dep Real. Only Luis Enrique won more than two trophies; he won all the domestic Leagues and still won the Champions League which is why I think he deserves the award ahead of any other coach in the list.

I learnt he has returned back to Saint James Park, and he's training alone. I think Newcastle United should just sell him and reinvest the money in another striker. There's no point trying to force someone whose heart is no more at the club to stay. If he stays, he might not give his best. I totally agree with you that Newcastle should sell Isak to Liverpool, but they should make sure they demand a very high transfer fee since Liverpool is desperate and ready to splash the cash on him. I also believe that Newcastle must be thinking in that direction,  but the only issue I feel is holding this deal back is  because they have not been able to get a replacement for him and the new season is just around the corner.  They went all out to get Benjamin Sesko, but I think he is destined to join Manchester United.
What I feel will happen is if they get a replacement they will sell him, but if they don't, they will not let him go. I feel for Newcastle,  losing their best player at this point will really be a blow.

There's great excitement all over England and all over the world as Manchester United fans are celebrating this milestone. It not like this signing has any much difference but for the fact that even after Newcastle bidding higher than Manchester United with over 10 million, Sesko chose Manchester United against all odd. Manchester United has no business with any European competition this season neither are they seen as title contenders so far. But maybe all these additions would make a great difference with Mbuemo, Cunha and Sesko at the front line in addition with players like Mainoo,  Amad and Bruno Fernandez. I think the hope is rising on the side of Manchester United and they may pull a suprise this season. With Isak leaving Newcastle this season, they may not progress well in the Champions League which was why they needed such additions. For now, Sesko is a Manchester United player and now ready for medicals.
