Thomas Partey making a big move to the Spanish side Villarreal seems like a big loose for the Gunners because they haven't gotten a monster in that DM as a replacement yet, for me I'd prefer they gave him another contract maybe 2 years till it's time to let him go. He has been a machine in that midfield for Arsenal but till this very moment I see nobody in that squad to take Thomas Partey's place, nobody can do what he did for Arsenal, big lose for Arsenal and a much better addition to Villarreal...can he be missed at the Emirates?

Well they tried to offer him a contract and he wanted an increase in wages. Asking for an increase in wages is not a bad thing though but his not always fit. His an injury prone player and I think I understand why Arsenal didn't want to increase his wages. Now that his at Villarreal, his playing for way less than the amount Arsenal used to previously pay him. I think his main reason for leaving Arsenal was because of money and his getting lesser where he is now, although I still stand to be corrected on this assertions though.

You're right but let's see it this way, maybe Thomas Partey used that increment of salary to leave Arsenal like he doesn't want to stay even with what they want to offer him, on his own he wants to leave but there was no other way to leave without them trapping him down so he had to come up with the salary increment, just saying because why would he go for something lesser than what Arsenal was paying him?
Good thing he went back to a league he is familiar with before joining Arsenal back in 2020 and going back to a different club still doesn't change the fact that he's happy where he is.

And from another angle you can actually be right too, because there's always two sides to a story. Bradley Barcola, such a lovely player but I seriously doubt if PSG will be willing to let him go. His one of the integral part of the PSG attack and sometimes comes in as a substitute player for either Doué or Kvaratskhelia. And he has impressed very much. But the thing is, this is football and if PSG sees that the offer is right, they might actually cash in on him and look for a replacement for a lesser fee.

There are many European teams willing to pay a lot of money for Barcola. He's a young and promising player, but Paris Saint-Germain has plenty of players like him. Therefore, the likelihood of him being released is high. It's just a matter of finding a European team that can pay the team the money they want. If Barcola stays, he'll be stuck as a reserve player at one of Europe's biggest clubs. I don't think he'll mind that, but of course, every player wants to play for the team. Perhaps if he's transferred, that's why he wants to be transferred. He could join a team where he wants to play regularly.

When I saw this very comparison it looks laughable because that of Hojlund is terrible 100%, imagine they never gave the stat of last season for the Manchester United player but they did for Benjamin Šeško, last season the same form Man UTD ended the season with was the same form their attacker Hojlund was so he can't be compared to this guy Benjamin Šeško.
Hojlund is suppose to be compared to someone like Jackson, Watkins even the likes of Calvert-Lewin, these guys are EPL strikers who tried their best to be on top last season but they struggled and if we include Hojlund I think he's the worse of them all, how I wish Benjamin Šeško can make this move to make that attacking position a bit competitive.

This really got me asking myselfif Šeško would really bring Manchester United attractive lineups. Honestly speaking, most say you found the comparison between these players because Hojlund already has stats, and they seem underwhelming. From the look of things, considering the context of last season's performance, I think he would be more comfortable and comparable to other English Premier League strikers, just like players Ollie Watkins, Dominic Calvert or players like Danny Ings, who are known to have varying degrees of success last season. The part you made mention of – you'd love to see Benjamin Šeško make greater moves in Manchester United – is a very good one, I must say, which is also adding competition to the attacking position.

Why would anyone pay €100m for Barcola, he hasn't done anything in his career to warrant such a fee; the talent is undeniable, but aside from pace and vibes, there is practically nothing else. PSG are rebuilding; if he was that special, he wouldn't be on the market.

We're just letting Bundesliga and Ligue1 extort the league at this point if this deal goes through..

As I said earlier, PSG will and can only release him if they get a substantial amount and that boils down to the right offer, if they don't they won't sell him. PSG itself has money so they are not going to settle for a lesser fee so long as they still need his services. Although, his not always coming off the bench, he start some games too. From their UCL hands that I watched last, both he and Doué were sharing the first spot, which means sometimes he starts and sometimes Doué starts. s for their league games, I don't watch PSG play because most of the time, we already know how the game will end even before it starts.

Son is a fantastic player and a true legend, and his arrival to the LAFC in MLS will have a significant impact on both the team and the MLS league because of his outstanding work in Europe. I'm confident he will contribute significantly to the team and earn a higher pay at LAFC than Tottenham.  Son is player who can still play in elite leagues, but he chose to join the MLS league in order to support the LAFC squad.

Every team is adding well known players to improve their teams. Inter Miami has also signed Rodrigo De Paul and  Vancouver Whitecaps have Thomas Muller, but I don't know of any MLS team with a strong squads as Inter Miami. They are currently ranked fifth in the table, but I think they will top it if they play their remaining games because I think they are the favorites to win the MLS title.

Ademola Lookman appears to be headed for a similar fate to Osimhen, initially loaned out and then released permanently. I think it's understandable that Ademola Lookman reacted this way on social media. Atalanta should have given their player an easy path if he no longer wanted to stay. The consequences are clear, his market value will plummet if he fails to live up to expectations next season.

I am just wondering. What on earth is going on with those Brilliant African forwards and their parent clubs? Is it pride? Feeling too big for the clubs? Or the clubs are just mistreating them because of their origins?

And why are big clubs from lets say England and Spain not scrambling for them? I watched both play in some matches and I don't think they are bad players technically. They are in fact quite good.

When they advance in the Champions League, they have to fake it with the best squad in the French league. This is where Barcola comes in. Barcola is a very good player and a very good substitute. I think Paris Saint-Germain will struggle to keep him. If they can keep him, it will be an advantage for them, as they will have to change players frequently in the upcoming difficult fixtures. In my opinion, Barcola is one of the best players in the team in this regard.

A risky transfer for sure. Partey's in the process to face a legal action related to the his rape case. He raped three woman, and court hearing will begin soon.  It's hard to guess what's Villareal's motive to sign him as a new player. I hope his victims will get justice and he will be jailed.

While Partey got the go ahead to sign for Villarreal after granting a conditional bail, he still have a court case by September 2nd and we could say this is still risky since he hasn't been proven guilty or not guilty.

Getting linked to the club if found guilty is what some of the Villarreal fans doesn't want and that won't be good for them. I hope the case goes well in his favour if he is actually not guilty.

I think De Bruyne was a bad player, Chelsea has given chance for him to develop. After he back from loan, he was not able to perform. Then they loan to Wender Bremen, but not able to perform too, playing for 9 matches but contribute nothing. So, they were not wrong to sold De Bruyne, his level might be on Bundesliga at that time.
