Serie A is nothing compared to its former glory and AC Milan are no longer a formidable club. Serie A is trumped by La Liga, Bundesliga, and the EPL by a wide margin. I might even put the French league over Serie A at this point.

Juventus are a really good team but I’ve often thought the fact Serie A being fairly weak is a disadvantage to Juve. It’s like PSG with the French league, both Juve & PSG don’t enough of a test week in, week out & it has a negative impact on their CL challenges. They’re not used to playing great teams so when they come across them in the latter stages of the CL they’re not prepared.

That I have to agree with you but you cannot really generalize all Italian teams being left behind by their other European counterparts. Some of the top teams have really good training facilities and they have one of the most world class youth development facilities to date. And since I know A.C. Milan more I'll be talking about their recent moves with regards to their infrastructure. Aside from A.C. Milan having Casa Milan as their training facility Milan and Inter both agreed that they'll be constructing a new stadium to replace San Siro as their Home and I think that's a big start for two Serie A teams in the league.
Do you know, it's called San Siro when AC Milan play, next week, when Inter come here, the same stadium was called Giuseppe Meazza. So, two clubs, same field and two names. Is it normal? Just think what it will be if Man. United and Man. City play on the same ground or Liverpool and Everton to share one stadium. No way. Like I said I am a Milan fan and this kind of little detail is not left unnoticed yes I know they play home and away and vice versa at one stadium that's why they call it Derby di Milano every time they face each other San Siro for Milan fans and Giuseppe Meazza for Inter fans. On the rumors of the new stadium it was first reported that Milan (not Inter) will be leaving San Siro but with the recent news it looks like Inter have agreed that they'll be also sharing the same stadium as Milan again maybe because of financial reasons so still in the future Derby de Milano will be played in one Milan stadium again.

This year can be harder for Juventus, Inter and Napoli got a good reinforcements so far. Let's see if they will buy more new players. Inter needs a Good number 9, also Napoli needs a new one, their defences are better than last year with Manolas to Napoli Godin to Inter

But you must see now. That Serie A is a league that is very much awaited every game. I can't think you put the French league above the Italian league. The French league is very easy to predict. Because the tough club is only PSG, Monaco, Lyon. That means the possibility of a champion next season is among the ones I mentioned.

But everyone league is dominated by only a few teams, that is just the nature of a game without a salary cap. The rich clubs will dominate like we have seen in La Liga essentially being a 2 horse race every year. And all the seasons the big four dominated Premier League until rich owners came in and brought Manchester City to the top. And of course you have flukes like Leicester City that will never have a sustained dominance.

Today finally should be the day for DeLigt @Turin and tomorrow should be the day for medical stuffs.
Finally, this saga will come to and end.
Some stuff going on today: • Sebastien Haller (Eintracht Frankfurt) to West Ham done deal [1]. Deal could be around €45M. • Tottenham are keen on Gareth Bale. They're willing to offer around 50M-60M, but they can't afford Bale's wages so they'd need the player to accept a pay cut. • Barcelona are close to signing Junior Firpo (Real Betis). For those who don't know him, he was part of the the U21 Spain squad who won the 2019 U21 Euro. This guy is the perfect replacement for Alba. • Dani Ceballos (Real Madrid) close to signing with Arsenal. The Gunners are also interested in Everton (Grêmio), the brazilian sensation of the last Copa America. • Atletico Madrid joins Napoli in the race for James Rodriguez. 1. https://twitter.com/Eintracht/status/1151045147196571649

They might have lost their popularity over the past but you cannot say that they will be in the 4th or 5th place in the coefficients forever. Still Juventus is carrying the whole league showing a consistent presence in the 4 and 8 place in the Champions League each season. With Ronaldo playing in the league it serves as a wake up call for the other teams to start rebuilding and I can see a lot of teams having a lot of transfers now this early in the transfer window. Don't worry Serie A will catch up to the other leagues.

So much money invested and still they couldn't make some big result in champions league. With money owners can buy the best players, like Neymar, but still they can't buy result. For success and concrete results much more is needed. Another example is Atlético Madrid, less money but more determination and hard work can bring success and result, even in competition with Real and Barcelona.

• Dani Ceballos (Real Madrid) close to signing with Arsenal. The Gunners are also interested in Everton (Grêmio), the brazilian sensation of the last Copa America.
Knowing Arsenal very well, the two deals will end up in spells of lengthy bargains until they don't happen at all • Atletico Madrid joins Napoli in the race for James Rodriguez.
I hope he ends up in Napoli, Atletico taking him in after getting Morata from us wouldn't be good.

Knowing Arsenal very well, the two deals will end up in spells of lengthy bargains until they don't happen at all I wouldn't underestimate Emery and his silver tongue lol Plus, don't forget that Ceballos and Zidane don't get along, at all, so anything can happen. With Everton, i find it very unlikely that he would refuse an offer from a top team in europe, thing is i don't how reliable this rumour is. • Atletico Madrid joins Napoli in the race for James Rodriguez.
I hope he ends up in Napoli, Atletico taking him in after getting Morata from us wouldn't be good. Same here. Man, Atletico are building a really strong squad for the next season: Felipe (Porto), Llorente (Real Madrid), Joao Felix (Benfica), Herrera (Porto)... And, this just in: They've signed Hermoso (Espanyol) for 40M, and rumours say that they're close to signing Kieran Trippier (Tottenham). Deal could be around 30M and medicals should take place tomorrow. On another note, Lukaku (Manchester United) to Inter is almost done deal, according to some reports. And Abdou Diallo (Dortmund) is officially a PSG player, source: https://twitter.com/PSG_inside/status/1151148649759612929 no idea who this guy is...

That being said I think Barca will not find much happiness with him. The supporters will just wait for his first sub par performance and start to pick on him due to his dismissal (trough video) last season. He will have to hit the ground running at Camp Nou for any happiness at the club. And it is a big change to switch from defensive minded, high work-rate Atletico football to Barca way of play where everything is about Messi.
Yeah, you can always sort of see how it'll turn out even just from some clues... his training session getting nutmegged looks all fun and games but he'll be at best another Coutinho... a piece of the puzzle that just won't fit. @Pmalek those Italian concrete prisons for stadiums actually remind me of my home team's stadium and our old national stadium. I guess now I know where we got our designs from! Anyone wonder if Tottenham really are tightening that noose around their neck? Trippier to Madrid?

I don't read Spanish. But is that supposed to be Atletico still wanting to milk more money from Barca? Lmao. Like clubs, any club, haven't done their own player poaching. Seriously, it's done. Griezmann has started training already. And congrats on De Ligt. I'll be watching some of Juve's games. Should be a good season with Sarri imo.
