At least Spurs get some cash rather than have to let him go on free transfer at the end of his contract in July.
Mourinho looks like failed to convince eriksen to stay , clearly he want a trophy. Even Mourinho who promised to make Spurs a champion can't hold eriksen anymore, this move is a fair one. Inter milan under antonio conte and eriksen at midfielder, can't see any better option for inter milan to become the strongest serie a title contender.
They got Eriksen for 11 million pounds last 2013 and I wouldn't consider a 20,000 million pounds move something lucrative on their part. That guy is worth at least 90 million and the management set a price tag of him for 130 million euros last season. 20 Million pounds is a pretty big difference compared to 130 million it's not even a quarter of their original price. But yes you are right it is better this way compared to them losing him on a free transfer. You cannot really blame anyone but the team and the management itself on why they cannot keep their players on the team.

Not really. Rumours have died down A LOT because: 1) Pogba keeps getting injured, and 2) Valverde has been exceptional this season.
You are right. I don't think Madrid will be in dire need of a midfielder like Pogba now that Valverde has shown so much potential lately. Pogba's chnace to move to Real Madrid was probably last transfer window. The last rumour that I saw was from The Sun saying that we're willing to do a swap deal with Man Utd: cash + Kroos for Pogba. IMO that would be one of the stupidest deals of the 21st century in the world of football.
I saw this romour too... Kroos even without cash for Pogba would still look so silly

The Sun is in the last Tier of trust in football news. Only yesterday they wrote for a Rabiot + Money for Pogba. As Tabloid, they create probably fake news only to get click and sell copies. Do not trust this paper. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/10667288/man-utd-pogba-rabiot-juventus-transfer-swap-deal/Btw I've ear about a small rumor, Juventus IF Manchester opens to a sell can try a loan till June + payment in 2 years from June (so they can write the sell on the next tax annual thing)

You really can't blame him. He was already getting ready to leave during the summer tranfer window of '19, so Mou is a non factor imho. He was leaving no matter what.
I was kinda hoping he'd be at Real somehow... Looks like Real is still after Pogba...?
Yupp I'm fully aware about that. He looks happy at Tottenham, but not satisfying about not getting a single trophy, that's why he want a new journey, inter milan with prospective squad to winning trophies could be the answer for him. Although Real madrid has some close contact at Tottenham the same way they bring bale and modric but this time they will go for pogba. Was kinda hoping that Manchester United were going to go in for Eriksen so that they will have a suitable replacement for Pogba should he eventually leave but I'd say that Conte is indeed doing something great at Inter at the moment and that he will be a great addition to the team should he eventually join them. He is very determined to leave Tottenham Hotspurs this time around. I didn't hear eriksen linked to Manchester United as big as eriksen move to inter these days. I even heard few months ago that eriksen would reject Manchester United interest if they did approaching him , don't know for what reason but it looks like now both inter and eriksen has found a bright point to make a deal, united also wants eriksen in free transfer if I'm not mistaken hearing the rumors. They got Eriksen for 11 million pounds last 2013 and I wouldn't consider a 20,000 million pounds move something lucrative on their part. Well you can't expect that huge amount of money when it comes to the player himself won't accept the contract extension in order to keep the transfer fee remain huge.

I wouldn't rule out RM just yet. Gareth Bale for Eriksen sounds like a great deal for both parties...You never know Ooooh yes. I wouldn't mind seeing Bale back at Tottenham. But surely it has to be a straight trade with no cash added on from either club.

Well because not a lot are being done under Solksjaer and Woodward when it comes to signing players but I was hoping that with Pogba destined to leave, Eriksen would be the best replacement. That's why the club need a sporting director since Woodward is only capable in the financial aspect of the club and not when it comes to player acquisitions and transfers.

Well you can't expect that huge amount of money when it comes to the player himself won't accept the contract extension in order to keep the transfer fee remain huge. That's out of the question a lot of potential income wasted from clubs hoping for a disgruntled player to change their mind not minding that their contracts are nearing to an end, simply just asking for that much on a expiring contract is a foolish thing to do for any management. Now all they have are players waiting for their contracts to expire with really no benefit on their end. Especially when you think of it that the Spurs are underperforming this season and they really need some money to have some big changes for their team.

Great player but at his age & given his terrible injury record would it be a risk to pay the wages he’d be looking for? He’d be looking for 200k a week or something.

Zlatan debut in Ac Milan is not as biting as he did when he first debuted at LA Galaxy who could score. Can the aging striker shine in Italian league and compete with Mega Star Juventus CR7??

He’d be looking for 200k a week or something. he is still under contract with Real Madrid, I am not sure why would he go somewhere and accept a lower salary than they already have. Maybe it's only a big Real wish to release the budget, but Bale is not a young player and he hasn't much top playing years in remain. In China or the USA, he can take some more serious money, but I still see no reason to leave Madrid, especially not for less money.

So there are two real trade possibilities and many teams all looking for the same players. If Eriksen went to Madrid and Madrid gave Bale, that would clear a lot of questions and would be easy but if Eriksen is really going to inter then Bale is staying in Madrid for sure. If Bale is staying that means Madrid may still be looking to get Pogba but since they didn't get to get rid of Bale they might give up on that.
In which case United is on torin right now talking about emre can and Demiral, both of whom are great players but I am not sure if they are at Pogba levels right now, they are surely good don't get me wrong, I love them but are they really on par with Pogba? Maybe if you put the injuries and non-professionalism into the mix you can say the "value" could be similar tho, not sure.

They are definitely not on the same level as Pogba but since he doesn't want to play they should get a replacement and with Emre Can previous time in the EPL, It's going to be good since he has already proven his worth there during his stint with Liverpool and am sure he would love to leave just to get some playing time since he barely plays in the Serie A.

According to this Journalist https://twitter.com/MadsWehlastEriksen is a deal done to Inter in the next weeks for a 20-24 Milion €. I will very surprised if he will end there for 20M to Spurs and 12M as salary. At least Spurs get some cash rather than have to let him go on free transfer at the end of his contract in July. His price was dropped to half due to his contract expiration on summer. 20m is a good amount for the spurs as well as a good spend for Inter to buy a classy player.

That is why I can find, I know where info on them pretty quickly. We got only the info that Manchester Manager were here in Turin but we don't know anything else after that. If he will come back 90% of fans will be happy to have him back, we sold for money back in 2015 now the team is richer and effort his salary. Meanwhile. https://twitter.com/romeoagresti/status/1214614012933148672

Football manager Mino Raiola has a new client. It's Jesse Lingard. Now we will see his skills, and how he sells the player with zero goals and zero assists in 2019.

I guess that's the only option for Spurs to earn anything on Eriksen. This player is finished at this club. Everyone knows it. Especially Mou. I think that we wouldn't have all this tittle-tattles about Dele Alli if not the Eriksen's departure. They part ways and it's the best thing for both parts. Christian will focus on new challenges and Spurs will have some extra money for a player that would have leave club anyway in June.

He is just going to sell him in a medium class team that is in big need of buying a player in the position that Lingard plays. And the easy part would be to sell him. The difficult one will be to sell him high.
