We got some more news on the never ending Manuel Neuer FC Bayern story. It seems they still can't agree on a contract, but I am confident that the 34 year-old goalkeeper will sign a new contract for additional 2-3 years pretty soon. It's all about money, like always.

I don’t see any reason why he would want to leave there any way. To be honest I don’t think many big transfers will happen this summer due to the situation we’re currently in.

I remember there was speculation that Mane and Salah haven't a good relationship. probably fake journalistic stories. as far as I understood Mane is a modest guy, money is not his priority, he will leave if he becomes uncomfortable or if Liverpool does not want him. But I think he will stay there for a long time which does not make me happy bcoz am MU fan and I think Mane is the best player in Premier League now. I don't like to see him in Liverpool

Taking this into consideration, this means there is absolutely no need for him to move to the MLS or the Chinese Super League. He will sign a well-payed contract at a European top club (preferably Bayern München). He is hungry for another Champions League title.

There is nothing about Aubameyang to Manchester United  , they have other targets. Man Utd 'very close' to £70m transfer agreement with Moussa Dembele. these don't seem to have a problem with money. Lol, yes, Moussa Dembele is Lyons center forward. The striking position is one I feel united needs to focus on, they need to bring in a good striker to Old Trafford. M Dembele would be a good option, he is good, young(23)and can also score goals, and I'm sure M. Dembele would be excited to move from Lyon to United.

@bullrun2020 according to this article Manchester City won’t be selling Sane for a lower price, and if Bayern fails to meet their valuation then they intend to keep Sane at the club, despite knowing the fact that next year he can leave for free as his contract ends next season.

Therefore I’m hoping that Bayern pays up those additional funds, if they really want Sane to come and play for them.

Also in other news Angel Gomes is being linked with a move to Chelsea which is really heart breaking for Manchester United fans, as he has all the makings to become a legend at the club (Manchester United), hence I’m sincerely hoping that he signs a new contract with Manchester United only.

Well, nothing is impossible,,, and to be honest 40 million in a post coronavirus world is really not impossible these days. People are losing money. Clubs are losing money, and transfer values will be going down at least 50% in my opinion so 40 million today is like 80 million before covid-19. I think it is a great buy.

That is why I think the offer was 40 million dollars. Right now City is not going to make any more money from champions league in the next few years because they are banned from it and that is money gone. Leroy will want to be in a team like Bayern that will be in champions league and actually content and at the same time City (and Bayern and everyone else) missed out on so much more money and that is why I think any money is more valuable.

Players must have lost some value because of this issue, all teams lost money so nobody really has money to spend hundreds of millions of dollars this year. When you combine all of this together, that looks like maybe 40 million dollars in cash given for a player you can do without doesn't sound that bad. After all City will have to cut on expenses a bit.
