Those guys are still lack of confidence. I saw that if some players were able adapting properly while the rest are still struggling. There are so many players who injured but some have been recovering like broja which was able to play again in the kain squad.
He was even helping the club to get three points against fulham when played away. I have heard that if pochettino already prepared for the winter transfers.

I think United needs Mitoma more than City, Manchester City stil got good wingers in the team that's even more preferable to Mitoma, and he might not even get much playing time if he moves over their, but United have lost 2 good wingers and would need to replace them, and I think Mitoma would make a perfect replacement for Jadon Sancho who'll likely leave the team fully by the winter windows.

You're right though, United could wait until the summer window to get Mitoma instead of signing him in the winter windows cause what  really need currently is a good defense line, it would help them from conceding much and support the goalie as well, i don't think Manchester United need another keeper currently, Onana might not be in a good form, but that doesn't mean he's a bad goalie, if you watch him at Intermilan you'll definitely know he's not a bad a people think all he needs currently is be surrounded with a good defense line and also to work on his confidence level.

I am not denying it, but if their injured defenders were all fit, their defence would be okay to go if they had good wingers in the front that could create and convert goal chances. If Ten Hag is still given the opportunity until his contract expires, I think he will recruit new players in defense. he will struggle to mold United's defensive line which has been quite chaotic this season.
Ten Hag definitely knows the weaknesses of his squad. and he will only use them until the transfer window opens. If he gets support from the club, he will definitely bring in several players to strengthen the squad. even though we know not everything will be as successful as expected.

Mitoma's performance at the start of this season has been quite impressive where he has scored 3 goals and 3 assists in 7 matches made with Brighton in the EPL earlier this season so it is certain that he will be up for grab but of course when it is Brighton then most likely they will try to continue to hold with a very large clause for a player as has happened to some of their previous players such as Trosard, MacAllister or Caicedo.
But other reports have suggested that Mitoma will stay at Brighton.
