^ Arsenal have invested a lot of money in recent times for players. I don't think they are in very good net positive in financial situations. So they have to make wise decisions. Gabriel Jesus is currently not the best performing striker. Especially not performing as well as Arsenal wants him to. I still don't understand why David De Gea didn't sign a new contract at the end of last season. It makes no sense for him to be without a club after leaving Manchester United. He is only 33 years old. Many goalkeepers have played and are still playing at the highest level at that age.
