The start of Kalvin Philips' career when he was still at Leeds United and his performance as a defensive midfielder was so good that Manchester City were interested in signing him in 2022. However, unlike what he thought, he would get decent playing minutes at Manchester City, but instead he often spent his time on the bench and that was what changed his decision to accept a loan offer from West Ham until the end of this season.

Well, now of course Leeds United has to negotiate with Manchester City because Kalvin Philips will return to the Etihad Stadium after his contract with West Ham ends. Kelvin Phillips' performance at Manchester City is another reason example of a player who left the club he was performing extremely well to go to much bigger club and ended up as a flop. As midfielder for Leeds, Kelvin Phillips was simply one of the best defensive midfielders in the English Premier League and was on e of the best performers in the league between 2020-2022 that he left the club. After signing for Manchester City in the summer of 2022 many were of the opinion that he was gonna defensive midfield rockie like Manchester City's legend Fernandinho but unfortunately for him and the club that spent hugely to bring him to the Etihad stadium, Kelvin Phillips have not been able to replicate his form at Leeds in his current club.

Now that he's struggling to get a playing time at Manchester City, the England international is trying to force a move away from the club in other to get more playing time that might see him picked by England manager to play in the summers UEFA Euros Championship but that I don't think will be possible at the moment. Don't get me wrong. I know he definitely has a lot of potential, he will have to be trained and nurtured properly. As we all know he is only 20 years old, so he has a lot of time ahead of him. If Real Madrid are actually serious about him, I think they can try to get him and train him for the future.

Seriously, but this is kindergarten in my opinion. Even thinking that is ridiculous. These grown up world stars follow their own path and if that path means crossing ways with Ronaldo, then so be it, but other than that they have their own careers and would never in their lifetime make such a decision. De Bruyne has definitely other plans for the next few years. I don't think the time has come for him to disappear into the desert of Saudi Arabia.

Kevin De Bruyne had one time said he'd love to play with Cristiano Ronaldo before he retires so I do feel like his next destination would be Al Nassr definitely.

If De Bruyne said so then maybe he could seriously think of leaving if an offer comes from Al Nassr FC.  It is very enjoyable to watch him in Europe now so I would really like him to stay for another season but let's see.

He is one of the most critical players for Manchester City now. You know he is playing a huge role in the team to be more productive. After his recovery from his injury he started to play like nothing happened. This consistency is another great thing to see about him. I would be curious about with whom Manchester City would like to fill his place in case he decides to leave this summer. It isn't easy to find a special player like him. 

Kevin De Bruyne cannot be replaced easily. We can't wait for that anyway. If KDB is going to go to the SPL, I think he must have felt that he was now approaching the end of his career.
