I completely agree with you but I don't understand why he is looking for a defender? Leverkusen has the best defense in the Bundesliga so bringing in Jeanuel Belocian means there's a bit of doubt there? 15 Million is a low price for a player 19 year old, can we assume that this is a Leverkusen Investment? This is actually really good to see. We know that Xabi Alonso does not have a lot of money to spend right now. At least not like Bayern Munich or other very rich clubs. So Alonso is more interested in bringing in young talents who are not going to cost a lot of money and will still be able to perform well. I personally do not see any big problem with the defense of Leverkusen, especially when I look at the matches that they have played in the Bundesliga.

But when I see the performance from them in the Europa League final, I start to think that maybe the defending needs to be better. And that's probably what Alonso has also thought. That's why he has started to make the defense stronger. A young player like Jeanuël Belocian playing under a coach like Alonso, it's going to turn out to be great for this kid.

Just imagine Xabi Alonso with the Leverkusen squad this season is already very good, especially if from a financial perspective it is fully supported, then Xabi will be even more able to maximize the players he wants to buy. Is this just speculation or their is some truth to what you are actually saying because I don't know and an pretty sure that Xabi Alonso doesn't have such plans for now about leaving Bayern Leverkusen for now. I think Xabi has already made it clear that he doesn't intend on leaving that club anytime soon atleast like you said he needs to first implement his legacy with the club first.
