I think it doesn't matter if it's for rent or sale. It might be a good idea to play for a different team every year instead of being in a team that you are unhappy with. Of course this is possible. Both teams want players from each other. A swap may take place, and Chelsea may pay some transfer fee to Napoli. I feel Napoli are hesitant to sell Osimhen out because it might be hard to get his replacement but from what I've seen of Lukaku, he fits the bill. Granted, he may not be able to leap in the air like the Nigerian, but he can still be able to use his size to his benefit. Truely, the Belgian needs to be bought permanently by a club because continuous loaning of a player can affect his performance; he won't be able have roots.

Well every coach and their philosophies and the kind of players they feel can comfortably work with to execute their tactics, if not I don't even see the reason why Napoli are trying to sell Osimhen and replace him with Lukaku. To me Osimhen is far better than Lukaku currently in terms of goal scoring and team contributions. Lukaku is more prone to injuries than Osimhen and Napoli fans know the ability of Osimhen. Last season was a disaster for Napoli generally so that shouldn't be use to judge Osimhen ability. With a new coach and a new beginning, I feel that Osimhen will score more goals for Napoli than what they will get from Lukaku. I don't know Lukaku's problem. But, I think it's his personality stopping him from playing well. Lukaku's performance is not that bad compared to when he played in EPL. I can't agree with you called him a player who is not wanted, but it's a mistake by the clubs that sold him at a non-sense price. Lukaku's performance is quite stagnant in Serie A, but i do agree he it's not even improving.

Lukaku's finishing is terrible to watch. He could be a beast striker if he is smart enough and can keep calm when executing the momentum to scored.

Now he is rumored to be with Napoli because Napoli's new coach, Antonio Conte, really wants him because the two of them have worked together.
So it is very likely that Lukaku will go to Napoli next season, regarding transfers that have not been agreed upon by the two teams, of course there will be a compromise because Chelsea is also unlikely to keep players they don't want.

Yes, this is still just a rumor circulating and the FA must at least wait until 2025 if they want to start discussing this seriously. This is because Pep Guardiola's contract will end that year and of course we still don't know whether he will extend his contract with Manchester City again or not.
