A good one but I was expecting something different for the Argentina striker at least he has given his all to the club, winning the league twice with the side and still has so much to offer, signing a contract for that long is not too cool with me, since promising clubs like you said Real Madrid not Juventus, I think he should have taken his chances and not to have a similar career spell like Immobile who stayed for so long at Lazio.

Signing a five years contract is actually too much but staying back at Inter Milan is actually a nice decision in my opinion. Let take a look at these top two teams that are linked to him, Juventus has not been in a good shape now for quite some few seasons and no player would prefer to leave a club as bright as Inter is now to Juventus who are struggling to get themselves back to competition. Real madrid on the other hand might probably be the worst decision he could have taken because I don't see who he can bench in Madrid squad. The decision to remain in Milan is a good move to keep himself in the light as he continues to make name and await prominent offers in the coming seasons.

For Martinez to move to Juventus would have been a disaster because they couldn't even finish 2nd, like they were very poor last season especially towards the end of the season, they lost hope and almost finished outside the top 4 on the log so they can't have a better place for Martinez. He can do well for Madrid and you know Madrid don't have a standard 9 even with the Mbappe move it still can't work because we know Mbappe plays better when he is on the wing so playing Martinez as the number 9 man can work , then someone like Rodrygo can stay on the bench. I don't know if players do sign a long term deal just to have a bigger offer in the next transfer window or I just can't tell, 5yrs is way too long for him and I think he might end his career at Inter Milan.

He was previously linked with Manchester United, but now better teams are following Lautaro Martinez. I don't think Real Madrid will buy him, but if they do, I'm sure Martinez will contribute a lot. I think he can easily play for Inter for another 4-5 years and become one of the legendary players for the club. Martinez was one of the players who had the most productive last year. That is one of the club's good business approaches towards its star players. Lautaro has signed a new contract that lasts for the next 5 seasons, but of course he can still be sold before the contract is finished. PSG tried to take a similar approach with Mbappe, but PSG failed until Mbappe went to Real Madrid on a free transfer.

Although Martinez is currently still on vacation after the Copa ends, Inter have managed to extend Martinez contract until 2029, Martinez contract extension is encouraging news for Inter fans because their proud striker wants to stay at Intermilan at the moment despite getting many fantastic offers from other teams, extending his contract and also adding a release clause is one way for Inter to keep their star player That, I remember previously Martinez had a contract clause of 111 million euros and only clubs outside Italy could activate it, so at that time Barcelona tried to activate the release clause but Martinez preferred to stay at Inter until now, with the contract extension happening at the moment, although we don't know the contract details for sure but I am sure if Intermilan will fence Martinez with a high release clause in new contract.

5 years (2029) is a very long time and you are correct that quite a lot of things can happen within that time, Lautaro might be sold even before then, but one thing that is certain is that right now he is happy at Inter. He won two titles with the club last season and went on to win the Copa America with Argentina, Lautaro is having the time of his life right now and i think it is a good decision that he decided to remain in Inter for now. If anything changes along the way, the 5 year contract will give Inter the bargaining power, so good for them too.

The report that Kelvin De Bruyne have agreed to leave Manchester City and join a Saudi club didn't come as a surprise to me and that's because of the statement the Belgian made after the end of last season where he said it'll not be a bad idea to go to Saudi Arabia and earn huge amount of wages in last years as a professional footballer. I believe he already had the talk of leaving with Pep Guardiola towards the end of last season so I also do not think the Spanish manager isn't aware that De Bruyne was ready to leave Manchester City this summer.

There are players that don't have the potential to explore their abilities due to the hostage of injuries. These players have suffered long-term and recovery do take time than the expected moments. Manchester United have a lot to deal with this summer. They have quite number of players to released and they've top targets on their radar. Erik Ten Hag will not fold up his hands because duty calls and he's present to attend to them.

Mason Mount was regarded to be the best signing for the Red Devils but it turn out he was only a total dissapointing figure following his constant severe injury.
