Fans in general do not care that he is there trying and trying to fix everything - they care about the result, and with the arrival of Amorim in the club you can say nothing has changed and the team continues to lose and keep on low positions in the league table. Outside of the championship they seem to have everything more or less, but inside - terrible

Nothing has changed for United because even though Amorim came in and changed things for the better, in the end it still failed.
In the Premier League itself United are like a mid-table club and it's quite easy to beat them at home.
The fans will never care if he leaves or not because United are so far behind the competition and they are having their worst season probably at the moment.
The only impressive thing in the Europa League is that they are unbeaten so far but no one knows what will happen to United in the last 16.

So by looking at this it is quite understandable that they cannot do some things outside their authority to completely overhaul the players because in the end this could interfere with their own electability and cause other problems that make them have problems with the rules given by the federation in the EPL in the end.
I heard about the same thing, but does this limit their ability to get loan players? They can hire free agents or something if they can't buy players. Sure they might not make United compete for the top 4 after a month in training but at least you'll have options. Especially after you let some players go through this window. At least this is the sentiment I saw in social media from some United fans. I guess you could argue they'll use the academy to provide backup but that's also risky. To be fair there's no instant fix for massive debt after a change of ownership. CMIIW.

Are you kidding? Rashford has turned into rubbish since he signed a new contract with United (3 years ago, I think). From a player who Ronaldo himself said "reminds me of me" he has turned into an undisciplined footballer and a piece of wood on the pitch. There is a type of footballer who, having received a fat contract, stops trying and not only stops progressing (which everyone expects) but starts to degrade. Rashford is exactly this type of player.
In fact, Man United wanted to sell Rashford permanently because his presence was no longer needed in the squad due to his inability to make any contribution to the team. Since he turned into trash, the club has struggled to sell him and has been forced to activate the loan option. Now Rashford has started a new chapter with Aston Villa, if the coach is able to develop his talent, meaning that all this time he was trapped in the wrong hands.

Amorim would have sold all the problem players like Mainoo, Garnacho or Zirkise a long time ago but Manchester United have big money problems right now. It is said that the team is hundreds of millions of pounds in debt and in order to somehow fix the situation, the club has raised ticket prices for fans. So for now Amorim has no good solutions and until the end of the season will have to play with the squad that was picked up by Ten Hag. I think that now Amorim regrets that he left Sporting, because the problems there are less than at United.
Manchester United is having no financial problem or debit which creates problem for them even they spend huge funds for few players which fail to perform as expected but now Amorim doing few good things and offloading players which was the problem which is big change with this now things can take changes in the future.

Even still it's not easy for him to work on solid strategy which keep team in good position but as he is working and doing overhaul this is positive thing happening Eric Ten Hag spend huge amount on many players but most of them were big failures. Currently, Manchester United have good thing they ended in top 8 which give them good confidence and this could be good motivation for them as well now they needed to work on their performance in Premier League which is more important and could be good for them.
"Manchester United: Finances in focus after club reveals £300m losses over past three years"
https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11667/13295399/manchester-united-finances-in-focus-after-club-reveals-gbp300m-losses-over-past-three-years
Given this news I would argue that United are not in financial trouble. Ten Hag spent a huge amount of money on transfers, which turned out to be extremely unsuccessful and now Amorim is trying to rectify the situation, but without new transfers it will be difficult. Although even with the players that United have now, they can win and should be clearly above the 8th place in the EPL.

Nevertheless, Ten Hag's legacy will be remembered for a long time, given the damage he did to Manchester United.

I didn’t think Chelsea would be signing any more midfielders, they have a lot of players at their side and it would be hard for Amougou to get regular playing time. Chelsea under Todd Boehly has a reputation for giving long term contracts to players because why do they have to give Mathis Amougou a eight year contract? Are they hoping to sell for profit in a few years?
Whatever potential they saw in the 19-year-old player, they made an important transfer and contract suggestion for Chelsea. I hope Amougou will not be a disappointment for Chelsea. I think they should be more careful since they have had such disappointing transfers in the past. Whether the French player can show all his talents and become permanent in the Premier League is up to him.

I only wonder why doesn't Chelsea get a better name than him. They wasted 15 millions for a name that came from nowhere. This is strange, very very strange to me. I know they acted like a factory of potential player, but signing a name without any potential.

I'd rather see this as a gambling. We will see whether Amougou will be paid or or not in the next years.

I highly doubt Manchester United will appreciate Amorim's achievements in the Europa League, unless they can become champions, which I doubt. They have terrible results in the Premier League, Amorim can't fix that, and one transfer is clearly not going to change the team. As for Rashford, let's see what he does at Aston Villa, but he has really become a lazy player, he needs a lot of work to change.

It's quite funny that although Aston Villa consistently rank above United and are in the Champions League this season, while United are in the Europa League, this move is a step down. And the fact that he is going to Aston Villa is proof that no top club is interested in him anymore (like PSG once was).
It will be interesting to see if he can prove himself there or if football has completely left him.
I feel the Manchester United board were clumsy About the Marcus Rashford situation, no matter how you try to look at things, there was a way they could come in to mend things between Amorim and Rashford, even before the young man left for Aston villa, Amorim didn't allow him play for a good number of games for a player that was still very feet and has potential, it wasn't looking like he had a better option in those games though, his direct disposition on Rashford was unprofessional as a coach and as a one time footballer, the whole drama for me was looking like he had a personal Vendetta against the youngster. If not for the way things where, I'm sure Rashford wouldn't have settled for an Aston villa.

He allowed the fat pay to control him, and pride came in. This is why some young players are not supposed to be paid a huge amount of money when signing a new contract, because they might allow the money to control them and lose focus on their career. I was surprised how he declined drastically in his performance and was unable to work on himself to pick form again.

He's more bulky and looks older since he didn't trim his mustache, so I think he's not really active in gym and training, hence his performance drop significantly.

But, we have seen Manchester United players are successful with their new teams.

Rashford joining Aston Villa is actually a career improvement since Aston Villa play in Champions League.

His physical changes may be the reason Amorim not giving him another chance to play at Manchester United at the moment, or maybe he is also too comfortable being wasted from the squad and forgets to take care of his physique after no longer being Amorim's choice🤣.

His move to aston villa is actually a big advantage for him, besides being able to get back playing time of course he is currently in a team whose level is still better than manchester united both in terms of team position and also the European competition they live in, to be honest when he did his first interview since joining aston villa, I think his words seemed to insinuate amorim and manchester united by saying: "This is a club (aston villa) that is in a good position in the league, and is trying hard to climb to a higher position, with playing in the Champions League, there is an ambitious manager and has great talent in the squad."
Don't these words seem to be a blow to the current condition of Manchester United with Amorim?

I have always liked me as a player, he can certainly aspire to a nice club, they are said of all kinds about this player, which is a shameful thing, I always think he is a nice player and that others have no right to spit judgments on a boy, rightly amorim ah said: "If he will go goal it will not be embarrassing for us"

Benjamin Sesko still remains to be a target to be signed by Arsenal as it seems. But there are so many rumours out there about them. Just like they are said to be prepared to make a record-breaking offer for Lautaro Martinez.  Wink  But as far as I can remember he already stated that he would stay with Inter for long years. The contract extension was also confirming his statement. This is why I don't think he would like to leave his team just yet...

Honestly I think Sesko is a wonderful target.  Roll Eyes  He is only 21 years old with so much potential as a CF. This is the kind of a striker Arsenal would make use of. They already like to sign talented youngsters such as him. If this doesn't happen they should go for Gyökeres.

When I see Rashford physical appearance, he doesn't looks like Rashford that I know lol.

This is a new journey for him with Aston Villa, hopefully he can get a better game with Aston Villa and help this club achieve something that is expected.
This is also a brave decision in my opinion, because some people say Aston Villa is not a leading club that can get something. Even some people compare it to Manchester United even though Manchester United is still in a not so good situation. Of course this is a decision that he has considered carefully and he made a decision.

Nico González has officially become a Manchester City player right before the end of the winter transfer window in the Premier League.

Currently there is an interesting situation by the way. Manchester City spent 215 million euros in this window which was more than the rest of the 19 teams combined (213 million).  Shocked

Who will say stop to them, or will anyone do so?
You are right if we look at some of the club spending data in this winter market, only Man City is in first place by spending 218 million Euro. Pep Guardiola feels the need to add ammunition due to their poor performance at the beginning of the season. Facing the end of the season, the demands are getting heavier and Man City can rely on the new players as much as possible. But can all the players they buy adapt quickly? considering that Pep Guardiola is an idealistic coach about tactics so the burden on the new players will be much more pressing.
Well looking at how terrible they were doing at the start of the season, we would guess that them spending this much money was just a way of trying to recover what they have lost. In the end, they are a rich club and been one for a long time, but money doesn't bring in championships all alone, we have seen that.

So many clubs in the league have much more money than City, and spent more money many times over as well, and yet none of that really mattered because others didn't win. Sure city spends a lot, but they actually turn that spending into titles and that's why they are so good. This year they are going to fail to win the title we all know that, but next year they could actually do a lot better with these new players.

Hopefully, the spending done by Man City can quickly fix the situation in Pep's team which feels like it is having problems in midfield. Nico González's presence might help Man City's midfield if he manages to quickly adapt to the team.
The rest of this season might be a tough season if Pep puts pressure on his players to play better and the target of catching up in the Premier League. We can see Pep's expression is not good enough in several matches, maybe he is also stressed by his team's situation.

Manchester City has made a lot of transfers and they want to get to a better level. However, the heavy defeat they received against Arsenal may cause them to relive their fears. Manchester City is a team with important goals in the English league and the Champions League, but their biggest misfortune for the Champions League is that they are paired with a team like Real Madrid. While other teams have easier matches, we can say that Manchester City has drawn the strongest opponent.

Marcus Rashford for a truth have been underperforming at Manchester United since he signed the lucrative deal that made him the club's highest paid player but I don't think his poor performance have anything to do with his looks. His appearance will always change as he ages as it's very normal with nature. You don't expect him to have mustache @17 but now that he's a grown adult, you'll continue to see changes in his looks.

His move to Aston Villa I think will help motivate him to prove his doubters wrong and I hope at the end, he succeeds at his new club so we can see the effects it'll have on current Manchester United manager's job at Old Trafford

I completely agree with you on this issue. If he was a good player, Manchester United would benefit from him. United's situation is clear and they desperately need quality football players, but they will not sell the goose that lays the golden egg.
Rashord will not be able to hold on to Aston Villa and will leave the team before the end of next season at the latest.
He is a name that spent his most productive time with Manu in the 22-23 season and then started to decline. If he comes to his senses and works well, he can shine again.
I think he misunderstood Ronaldo's sentence, "I see myself in him." Ronaldo still scores goals in the Arab League, although it is not the top-flight league. Because he is a quality professional and takes his job seriously, he works and trains accordingly.

If Chelsea after some years of suffering and are able to get on their feet again, Manchester United can do better in my opinion. What's needed now is to focus on the players that is going to replace the ones that are going to be loan and sold reason is that it is possible that the players we are anticipating for replacements might even do worse than what we are seeing, this was what we expected from Amorim when ETH left but what do we got, disappointment.

Casemiro has finished football but Manchester United don't know when not to buy a player, ETH is one of the worse person when it comes to good pick. Casemiro is a great defender, has done many things in Real Madrid but not needed in Manchester United in my opinion. Maguire has been long overdue, that guy is overdue for sell but they are not ready to let go because of the investment made on them but the question is would you rather hold something that cost you loss? The market value will continue to drop as their performance reduces.
I believe the problem with Manchester United is lack of good scouts and failing to identify the right player to buy, not just entering the transfer market and buying any player that is up for sale in the market. For Manchester United to be able to get back on track first they need to assign good scouts in some of the footballing countries like South America and Europe identifying top potential that can be able to thrive in the league.

It’s true that Ten Hag did more harm than good to Manchester United as he squandered a lot of money on transfers that later became flop in the clubs. Amorim will have to sell these underperforming players to create room and finance to bring in new, hardworking and dedicated players that will be able to add value to the club.

This is United's best deal in this year I think.
United paid Rashford £325,000 a week to sit on the bench and Aston Villa will pay him £225,000 a week to do so. It turns out that Rashford, who has scored 4 goals this season will get £100k a week more than Watkins, who has already scored 10 goals this season and 19 last season.
Villa's decision is very strange, considering the poor transfer campaign last summer and the weakening of the squad due to Duran's departure, now because of Rashford's huge wages Aston Villa won't be able to get any really good and useful players because part of the wage bill is already taken up by the useless Rashford.

When I see Rashford physical appearance, he doesn't looks like Rashford that I know lol.

IMO, for me what Aston Villa did was very interesting in this winter transfer window. maybe because they are involved in the Champions League, the club and Unay Emery tried to do their best by recruiting several players even with loan options. Rashford is now part of Aston Villa, he will not immediately become a core player if he does not show his best performance. at Aston Villa there is also tight competition to become a regular player, therefore Rashford must work hard to become a core player in Unay Emery's squad. we know that Aston Villa has several players who are injured, especially their defenders. therefore, Aston Villa brought in several newcomers plus several loan players such as Rashford, Asensio, and Alex Disasi. this decision must have been their consideration, especially since Aston Villa is still involved in the Champions League. for me personally what Aston Villa did was a reasonable step, maybe they could become a fairly competitive team with several newcomers. including Marcus Rashford, if his performance is bad then he will be on the bench more often. I'm sure Rashford knows that, so he will most likely try to play as well as possible and adapt to his new teammates.
