Luis Diaz signed a 4-year contract with Bayern, I don't know what's going on in Liverpool, but there are big changes and something tells me that we will see a different team. Luis Diaz didn't play in the last match with Milan, this decision was made by Slot, apparently he already knew that he would go to Bayern. Somehow Liverpool has changed a lot this offseason, and I thought that after they became champions, they wouldn't want to change anything.

Luis Diaz sudden decision to move was unexpected, it's quite frustrating when the player they want to sell (Nunez) is not getting good offers and the one the manager wanted to keep doesn't want to stay.

When Arne Slot came in last season, he didn't sign any player, he used Klopp squad to win the league and this season they had already lost some part of that squad so reinforcement was necessary.

Donnaruma is declining his contract offers from PSG, they are trying to extend, but he declines. Which means, he has decided to leave, and no idea if he already made a secret deal with another team, but looks like he will try to play for one more year, and then leave for free. If that doesn't happen, then maybe they can sell him now, and get another player.

All in all, it doesn't make sense to see that Donnaruma decided to leave, because he won so much with PSG and the fact that he is eyeing to leave makes no sense. Why would you want to leave a team that you do so great with? If you want to win, you stay with the winners. Whatever is the reason, I hope they soon fix it, because league and all is getting closer, so everyone should start to be quicker about these deals.
It doesn’t make sense to me too that Donnarumma wants to leave PSG after just four years with the club and at a time when the club is finally achieving greater heights. He is just 26 and for a goalkeeper he is entering the peak of his career so losing him now is a huge loss for PSG so I suggest they find a way to fix whatever the reason is for wanting to leave.

If this transfer news proves true, Felix will go down in history as a player who was constantly transferred without contributing to any team.
He arrived at Chelsea with high hopes, but he didn't succeed. Last year, he played on loan at Milan, contributing three goals, that's all.
Now, he's reportedly heading to Al Nassr.
I don't know if a transfer like this has happened before.
It seems Felix will likely switch 3-4 more teams by the time he turns 30.
My biggest question is, how old will he be in Türkiye, and which team will he join?
Felix definitely got really really weird career because he normally is not a bad player at all, normally it doesn't look like he is that bad at all. We should realize that we have seen him play, go watch any of his games, he is not as terrible as his career at all. This should not be complicated, he should not focus on changing this type of thing and constantly move to another team.

There aren't really any profitable thing for a player to be constantly moving because he never gets to play in the same system with same players for any long time. So he should focus on being here and happy, sure he changed yet another team, but at least if he can stay here for a long while then it would make a lot of sense without a doubt, so stay here for like 3 seasons or more, and he will look great again.

Real Madrid feels so reluctant in fulfilling Vini's request to get the same salary as Mbappe. I know he deserves it caused by he also contributed the same to the club. However, his club doesn't accept his offer and he may be looking for an alternative way like leaving from the club.

He was so desperate in getting the same wages, and talked to his club multiple times, but never successfull. At this point he shall forget to increase his wage. if he still wants to increase his wage, he shall leave from the club.

I think that's the best decision to leave from Real Madrid, then join in a club that can pay like what he wanted.
Hearing that Vinicius is requesting same salary range as Kylian Mbappe makes it look like they are both in competition for who receives more, this is the same situation even on the pitch and the problem Xabi Alonso is trying to fix. If Madrid decide to accept his request it will mean that they are supporting the competition so I don’t expect his request to be granted, he will have to agree terms with the club or consider a move.

€150m fees for Isaak looks nothing when Liverpooil could afford Wirtz, which was non PL proven a bit less than it. They have raised  €75m from selling Diaz, and can start to increase his first bid. I also see a lot of medias reported they're ready for launching their second bid for Isaak. It seems the second bid will close to €150m.

I just read somewhere this morning that Liverpool have scheduled a meeting with Newcastle this week to discuss Alexander Isak and the starting bid will be £120M including add-ons. Yeah, Liverpool is in a beast mode but I think they're over pricing this guy. To be honest, that amount is more than enough. They should rather invest that money in two solid center back. I'm not saying Isak is not good but he's not worth that crazy amount.

My sentiment buddy, €150m for what? If it was Chelsea or Manchester city that is spending like this, most of other top English premier league side will by now be crying foul play, but since it's Liverpool, the guy with a big mouth in the persons of carragher isn't saying anything, signing isak for €150m is setting a dangerous precedent in English premier League teams, they will start putting inflating figures on their players as long as it is their own follow premier League side that is coming for the player. Am still even curious on what they saw in Florian wirtz that they splash so much on him, now they are talking about isak in the same manner, less look how this plays out, besides all this doesn't guarantees trophies at the end of the season.

The last big money buy for Real Madrid was Bellingham and between the summer transfer of 2020 till date, Real Madrid has spent a total of €303.5 million on purchase of players. That's to say, in the last 5 years, Real Madrid spent this amount of money and had sales of players within this same period at €301.35 million. I'm just marveled at this because before now Real Madrid was known for spending big but now seems it has changed and it's the other teams that are the big spenders now.
I think Real Madrid are not spending big this summer because they have not found a player that will need them to spend much money on, for now Madrid are moving smart and getting the best deals possible in the market. It shouldn’t be about who spends most but who does the best deals.

Their management is quite astute in assessing the team's needs, and this, coupled with sound financial management, allows them to make occasional spending sprees and know when to stop. Real Madrid is known as a major team with sound financial standing.

They always have star players every season, and even a significant number of them. Yet, they still manage to maintain financial stability, and even though they have so many star players, it doesn't lead to internal problems like player egos. Even if they do, they are quickly resolved.

Hmm Alexander isak is a good player with no doubt but I kinda agree with you, that amount is outrageous, £150m is really too much for him I think in other words Liverpool are really pushing this too far, before you know it, we will all see the case of Jack Grealish after the whole good performance at Aston Villa then he moved down to Manchester City white a whooping sum of 100m and finally offers nothing rather than being carried by his team mates to some victory, so this Alexander isak deal the asking price is really too high, it should be around maybe 80,90,or 100m rather Liverpool should gather up the funds to get some cool good solid center back it will pay them more, to my own opinion.

I understand why Liverpool want Alexander Isak so badly. However, I think the price is too high. Isak's quality is indeed extraordinary. Last season alone, he scored 23 goals and provided 6 assists in 34 appearances. So, in terms of goal productivity and sharpness in both scoring and providing assists, Isak is a suitable choice. He's also a relatively young striker at 25 years old. And I understand that Liverpool can't rely on Mohamed Salah forever, who is now 33. So, Liverpool also needs long-term options. I'm quite surprised by Isak's high price. However, I'm sure Liverpool have a very well-thought-out plan for the upcoming season. So they won't hesitate to spend a lot of money on this player.

Here we go for Granit Xhaka to Snderland. All agreement has taken place and a decision has been met.

Total fee around €20m, player signed a 2 year contract, 2025 - 2027.

Ex Arsenal player will be coming back to EPL this season, playing under Sunderland FC.

Why did Granit Xhaka decide to return to the Premier League? I think he should be comfortable playing at Leverkusen and making an impact in the Bundesliga again, as his ability has been undeniable during his two seasons with the club. Could it be because Sunderland secured their place in the Premier League and decided to help them stay in the top flight? or is it because Leverkusen simply didn't want to keep him? Honestly, I just want to see Xhaka play at Leverkusen and decide to retire there.

I don't know if Joao Felix is interested in moving to the Saudi Pro League. Based on Fabrizio Romano tweet a few hours ago, Al Nassr has submitted a proposal to bring in Felix and the details of the contract are not yet known but it is estimated it will exceed his current market value. I personally think it would be a shame if Joao Felix had to leave Europa at the age of 25 even though 25 years should be the golden age, what do you guys think? Should he go to Benfica or Al Nassr? Indeed overall Joao Felix performance continues to decline since the last few years and most elite clubs are not interested in him so this is a difficult choice for him.
Joao Felix has already agreed to a move to join his Portuguese counterpart Cristiano Ronaldo in the Saudi pro league with Al Nassr. Both clubs have now signed all documents to seal the deal for Joao Felix, Felix is now an Al Nassr player!

Yeah, Liverpool is in a beast mode but I think they're over pricing this guy. To be honest, that amount is more than enough. They should rather invest that money in two solid center back. I'm not saying Isak is not good but he's not worth that crazy amount.
What Liverpool have done in this transfer window is the complete opposite of what they did last season. So, I think it's quite natural that Liverpool would be bold enough to spend big and even buy players at quite high prices, considering their lack of activity last season. So, they intend to spend everything in this transfer window. And that's been Liverpool's way for a long time. And usually, this team rarely fails to bring in the players they want. And Liverpool usually always succeeds in choosing the right players for their team. Even in the Klopp era, and now in the Arne Slot era. But I feel Arne Slot is very similar to Klopp. So it's not surprising that Liverpool continues to maintain its quality despite the difference in managers. And their aggressiveness in this transfer window also seems likely to bring extraordinary results.

I also think paying so much money is wrong. Furthermore, I believe paying such high prices is killing the spirit of football. Expectations will constantly rise, and Liverpool may not get what they paid for him despite this amount. Alexander Isak is a very high-quality player, that's for sure, but the amount being asked for comes at a significant cost for Liverpool. Perhaps they could make a few other, better signings instead.

He know Ten Hag want to destroy Leverkusen, so he leave for good, if Leverkusen fire Ten Hag, Xhaka might back to Leverkusen. I'm sure Sunderland won't last long, they even down to League Two.

Xhaka has a good performance, he's consistent enough in Leverkusen. We can expect he will move to other team in the next year, as he's getting old, probably Serie A teams, just a wild speculation though.

I agree with you mate. Spending big isn't the bomb but buying players that worth the amount and their contributions to the club improvement is what matters a lot. Look at last season that United spent big without any better results at the end of the season.

My little observation on Real Madrid signing of players recently is that, they are no longer interested in using big amount of money to sign a player, they take a chill pill and go for the player a year or two before his contract expires, so that, if they can't sign the player directly from his current club, after the player contract expires, the go for him without paying for any transfer fee. They are spending wisely.

Felix and Ronaldo together seems like a very good fit. Ronaldo is a pure striker, Felix isn't, he is an advanced forward, which means that he is going to be behind Ronaldo, distributing the game mostly, and trying to do as fine of a job as he can outside of that inside the box area. They can compliment each other very well, and could be very beneficial for Al Nassr.

If he can do that then it would make sense, there aren't really that many difficult questions to ask here, they just need a good DM or MC to play for them in order to make this better. They are also looking into better wingers if possible however by the looks of it they are a bit late for that and may not get someone they want for the winger position.

I think Sunderland made a good signing. Xhaka has the quality to play in the Premier League for another year or two. For Sunderland, it's a signing that could solidify their midfield. He had a good season with Bayer Leverkusen. I think he deserved this transfer. From here on, he could perhaps finish his career with Saudi Arabia.

Welcome back to the best league, Xhaka.

Everyone wants to return to the Premier League for players who have experienced how competitive the Premier League is.
Granit Xhaka spent the 2024/2025 season with Bayer Leverkusen with stats above players his age. 33 games and 33 starts show that Granit Xhaka is still strong enough to play the whole season if he doesn't suffer from injuries.
