A wonderful statement from Newcastle - they practically said in plain text that everything Isak said was bullshit, called on him to honour his contract and reiterated that he would not be sold until the club received the desired amount. It's high time to stop this bullshit when players make up some promises and don't pay attention to the contract. I'm looking forward to the transfer window closing to see how this idiot will tuck his tail between his legs and apologize or sit in the reserve squad.
The players and their agents are the bane of football, and it will only get worse. I believe that these players are totally at the mercy of these agents who speculate on these guys who then don't respect their contracts and do as they please. I don't like this, it's ruining football. I don't think the situation will get worse, as it is already as bad as it can be and now the clubs have to protect themselves. Considering that everything has gone too far, I expect, on the contrary, that this golden era of freebies for players will end and soon there will be a budget limit and a salary cap. From a business point of view, it will be better for everyone, as now the players are literally bankrupting the clubs, this does not look like normal development. As for Isak, it's time for him to start apologizing, Newcastle are serious.

Isak's quest for new experience is not a bad idea at all but Newcastle is not happy about that and are finding it difficult to let him go this season due to his goal scoring and leadership ability for Newcastle last season and also the level of competition in the English premier league now. Letting isak go now will be difficult for Newcastle but they should consider his loyalty, commitment and service for the team since joining from real socidad 2022-2023 season till new. When he was signed then from real socidad, it was never in there mind to let him go but they did just to respect his interest because irrespective of the contracts agreement between both parties, players opinion and cry are also considered, so Newcastle should consider his own happiness and let him go
As a players whose contract isn't expired in his current club, if he wants to leave the team it's gonna be a mutual agreement between the player and the club even if the player has the interest to leave the team but if they don't reach a good understanding it is always difficult. Isak is a notable player in the squad of Newcastle and the club is paying him the highest salary so why should he want to neglect the club while trying to chase his future at another club and as far as i know he didn't have any former misunderstanding with the club, why then is he trying to create one for himself. It's always good for a player to be in good relationship whenever he wants to move out of the team so that it doesn't look as if the club is hindering you from not joining a team of your choice.

I'm not sure Isak is the highest wage earner in Newcastle, I still stand to be corrected. I also think that's one of his annoyance with the club, his their biggest player but doesn't earn the highest. I am not saying his right about it but it might be one of his annoyance with the team too. Like you said that it's always good for a player to be in a good relationship with his club no matter what, I agree with you on that.

This was Isak statement and if this is true then we shouldn't judge some of these players who force their way out from their current club, promises are broken like he said and leaving the club is best for him, they should let him go of that's the case. The amount they placed on him is too much, £150m is to say they don't want to sell him, the amount will definitely scare clubs from coming to get him. Players don't wake up to offer a request to leave their present club without having good reasons for their decision. Isak has now made his reasons for asking to leave Newcastle united clear. A promise has been broken and he does not find it comfortable to still play in a club that do not respect promises made. On the path of Newcastle united they are not willing to release him subsequent to the absurd fees placed on him. Isak has to stand on his ground and ensure his rights are respected and not attending the PFA award night was a right protesting decision. Even if he had attended the PFA award night it still doesn't change anything because as it seems, this guy has made up his mind which I respect for him to still be on the same page, anything that changes his mind and he decide to play for the club Newcastle then he has agreed on the terms of the board. For long now this player Isak has been the best striker since the time of Alan Shearer (correct me if I'm wrong) and they should have given him the best of treatment and not the one that would make him choose to leave the club. Liverpool by now are waiting to hear something that will favor them and they are waiting patiently to get that message of go ahead with whatever amount they submit.

I understand why Alonso says that, because every coach would like to have a player on the bench who can come on at any time. Of course, he will talk about all the rumors and say he trusts Rodrigo, but we have already seen at the Club World Cup how it really works: Rodrigo sits on the bench and might sometimes come on at the end of a match, while young García got a lot of playing time and scored goals.
Plus, if you really want to sell a good player, you should not say "he is not wanted here", that drops the price of the player and the value goes down. So, the best way to sell someone would be "well he is a great player and we count on him, if you really want him, we will need a lot of money" and that's what they do. This is why I think the best way to move forward for them would be keep him, and play him if there are no silly amounts. Surely Xabi can figure out a way to get him to play many games, either start them or get in later. After all, it's true that he is a great player, so at league games coming back from UCL, he can play 60-70+ minutes, or whole game, so others can rest, and he can play in all cup games, and he can even sub in during UCL games. So, a supersub.

He has a contract and he has to fulfill it. If he thinks he deserves more, then let him find a club that will pay his release clause. In this case, this is the amount that Newcastle is quoting. When Newcastle bought him and increased his salary tenfold he was happy, and I bet that if he hadn't progressed or had gotten injured he wouldn't have been happy with the early (without compensation) termination of his contract or a 10-fold reduction in salary.

It's hard to deny Chelsea is one of smartest club in doing football business. They are in agreement with Villareal for Veiga deal worth close to the 30m. Kinda crazy to see how big they flip him for profit. They bought him for 12m, got 4m from loaned him to Juve, then flip him for 25m+++ include 25% sell clause. Damn! It's hard to imagine on how much they will make from Jackson. It's also showing how big Villareal's confidence by buying him close to 30m + big sell clause.

Isak wanting to leave is normal, Newcastle is not a big team, even with a rich owner, they are basically forced to follow financial fair play, which means they can't get anyone they want. But, selling a player is a good way to get some money, and they can use that, so they want to get as much as possible.
Liverpool should definitely stop trying, because they already have a great team, why get Isak? Their striker is now Ekitike and he is playing wonderful so far, both on friendlies and on that league game against United too. I think it's clear that Liverpool would be making a mistake disrupting what they have working, and they already spent so much money, they should not try to spend even more money on this at all.

Thanks to the scouter, he was playing in Switzerland league, that's a risky deal considering he was not even perform in Bundesliga. Chelsea sign Jackson was also risky, he joined for 3 years, but only good in his last year, then Chelsea sign him. Chelsea could sell double the price from what they spent. Liverpool should definitely stop trying, because they already have a great team, why get Isak? Lol, then I wonder what Isak will do for the next 3 years. He not want to play for Newcastle and begging for other team to sign him, well he's not professional the way he show his character.

Unfair to Spurs, Arsenal has resumed their interest to sign Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze. The young talented player has been on the list for Arsenal but the quick response now was prompted by Kai Havertz injury. So sad the season just started and the club is already facing injury problems. Mikel Arteta need to fill in depth with no excuse for not winning the league this season. Obviously Eze has made a decision to move to AFC if a club to club agreement is done with both club.

Eberechi Eze is not really young, since he is 27 years now but this doesn't disrupt the fact that he is talented and good. Arsenal were his first option but soon I guess as their interest i him died down he wanted the move to Spurs, that would still give him champions league football and a better chance of lifting another trophy than remaining at Crystal Palace.

Douglas Luis done on loan plus easy obbligation condition from Juventus to Nottms Forest. The player left his former team after just 1 season, he never adapted to Serie A. Arsenal offred to Palace 70m€ for Eberechi Eze. OM "fired" Rabiot and Rowe, they will not be part of the squad anymore but they do not want to gift them, so what they obtained telling that to media? Nobody will give them money for them anymore. Veiga done to Villareal.

Eze is a top class player, it’s probably about time he got a big move, he’s 27 now. Shame about Havertz picking up an injury, hope it’s not too bad but Eze would be a top signing for Arsenal.
Would love Isak to join Liverpool but Newcastle seem unwilling to do business.

Arne Slot feels his team still needs one more striker who can increase their chances of retaining the Premier League trophy this season and, of course, make Liverpool a formidable team in the Champions League. With the departure of Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz, and the team having to lose Diego Jota, I think Arne Slot desire to recruit a new player is understandable. Alexander Isak is considered a suitable player for the team needs, so as long as the transfer window is not yet closed, it is highly likely that Liverpool will still make an approach to sign him. However, in my opinion, a deal is only possible if Liverpool increases their offer and Newcastle also manages to get a suitable replacement. The transfer window will close in about two weeks, and the situation seems to be getting more tense.

No reason should be responsible for not letting him go for a new experience as he requested no matter what, since his mind is already made up and other clubs are willing to pay his release clause that is the most important part of it. The same thing happened to yaya in 2010 when he was in Barcelona with pep guardiola as there coach, he requested to leave but the team refused that was when his quality started decreasing before pep finally finished yaya football career at Manchester city in the same way. So before he is curiously pushing to leave, there are some things happening that we don't know, the best is to let him go

Use statistic.
Zirkzee, 49 matches, 7 goals = 14% Hojlund, 95 matches, 26 goals = 27%
This mean Hojlund has almost double the chance to score a goal compared to Zirkzee.
If I'm the one who make decision, I want Hojlund to stay and sell Zirkzee. Amorim is joking he prefer Mount over both of them, Mount has 8% chance because he played for 48 matches and only score 4 goals.
Both are average players if you ask me, Hojlund has played almost 100 matches and hasn't yet scored up to 30 goals and Zirkzee has played almost 50 matches with less than 10 goals to his name for the club. Both of them combined has played almost 150 matches and scored not up to 40 goals, that's a very poor statistics. As for Mount, I don't even know the problem of Amorim, Mount should be dashed out for free. To me he should just keep all of them, either Zirkzee, Rasmus Hojlund, or Mason Mount, I think they should all stay, my reasons are Rasmus Hojlund seems to have picked form and kind of confident of himself we can see that from the preseason matches he was scoring, and for Zirkzee he's still a young promising young talent and might be of use in the future and again he doesn't have much playing time but the little chance he's having at least he's showing workings, and for Mason Mount he was Chelsea player of the year they very season we bought him so I'm still kinda surprise on how he flop in Manchester United, but never the less I'm still confidence in him and still believe he will deliver, so in My own opinion they should all stay.

Arsenal is seriously not ready to waste any time following the injury case of their player Kai Havertz , they want a very good player to cover his position since he is injured it's a good thing for the team if the player has reached out an agreement with his team Crystal Palace and they have accepted to accept the request of Arsenal to sign him it will be a good replacement for Kai Havertz because Eberechi Eze is a very talented young player who can easy blend in Arsenal. Let's see if Palace will let him go because they are keeping their important players this season.

Would love Isak to join Liverpool but Newcastle seem unwilling to do business.
Newcastle reminds me of Spurs back then when all the other top clubs were trying to sign Kane, they slapped huge release clause on Kane just to scare them away. Newcastle should just take the offer and leave Isak with his choice, its clear that he wants to leave and there is no reason to really hold him down but personally I think this would be another story for Isak if only Newcastle managed to sign Sesko. The fact that they lose Sesko means Isak probably is gonna stay for atleast 6 more months

Yeah, but that was before. However, following Kai Havertz's injury, Arsenal has rekindled their interest in Eberechi, and it seems they're leading the race for his signature. Tottenham could have signed him when they had the chance, but they were considering other options and now their chances look very slim. Well, they can still go for Ademola Lookman. He's cheaper, and I guess he's the reason they didn't bid for Eberechi.
