I think Messi will be first of the two to retire. Ronaldo’s competitive nature and ego won’t let him retire before his greatest rival does. Imagine wasted hundres million for someone glass knee player. I'd rather get another striker with less valuation, but good history about his fitness instead of expensive striker who is injury prone. they probably wasted so much money for the new Keita.

I agree with you about Isak. In my opinion, he is an overrated player, and Liverpool were too rash to buy him from Newcastle at a high price. He's only played three games with Liverpool and the results have been nil. The pressure on Isak to score goals is normal. Now his injury makes the situation worse, especially with Liverpool poor form.

The arrival of several new players was expected to improve Liverpool performance, but the opposite has happened. Now Liverpool is increasingly depressed and several of the names you mentioned have not been able to show the quality they showed when they played for their previous clubs. I think Liverpool made the wrong decision in the last transfer window, they sold Luis Diaz to bring in Florian Wirtz who was considered younger and had better qualities. Diaz has scored several goals and assists since his arrival at Bayern Munich, while Florian Wirtz is still struggling to adapt to the EPL atmosphere.

Arne Slot talked about the situation of Isak before the match they played against Manchester United, were he said that Isak was suffering because he didn't had pre season matches, he said  the the first few games he played for Liverpool was to make up for his pre season. That people should start judging him from that match they played against Manchester United. From that match against Manchester United till now it's been only 3 games he has played, and not scoring in 3 games is not that bad in my opinion.

 So it's not just about Isak alone, the entire Liverpool team is not in good form. They were winning without Isak, why are they not winning again? If Isak is the problem, the coach should bench him and play the ones that were winning matches for them at the beginning of the season.

Cash deserves it. He's 28 years old, but has always been consistent. He's able in keeping his PL quality for years. I know some people might be questioning why they offered him 4 years contract extension for 28 years old guy, but his consistency is the reason why he got it.

He's one of important player in Emery's system. No reason to let him leave while the manager still needs him.

I'm not going to act like he was a Messiah, but wasn't given enough time to prove himself... He had absolutely no intention, no inspiration to keep the club out of this mess. I don't know about those two replacements, but the team should have a favourite in mind that will take over the job in a proper way. I do not think either of them will retire anytime soon, I think there is at least one more year for them to play. Messi is at playoffs right now, so I think one more season is quite possible, and Ronaldo just started his, which I think won't be his last.

These are old players I agree, and I am shocked that they are still playing so well, that's true, but at the very least they are looking good. None of them shocks me as much as Modric though, because both Messi and Ronaldo was out of Europe at that age, whereas Modric is still at Milan, trying to win titles there, which is a huge achievement.
