Manchester United's very poor long journey is gradually starting to fade away. A win against a big team has reignited big hopes for Manchester United to compete with top teams and, most importantly, to return to the European stage. This situation has prompted management to take advantage of the transfer market. One of their targets is Carlos Baleba, who could be recruited from Brighton, potentially for a fee closer to £75 million. This is reinforced by the fact that Casemiro might leave, opening up an opportunity for fresh funds to buy him. Casemiro has a salary of £350,000 per week, or about £18.2 million a year, which would be removed from the books, and Baleba is a fairly strong replacement.

Napoli was so much interested on Lookman too, but had no intention of paying the transfer price of €40m, if the Turkish club is serious about paying the actual price, nothing is wrong with his moving there, Turkish league is not a handball game, if he plays better there clubs across Europe would still come for him in the next transfer window or whenever his contract expires.
Lookman is worth that amount. I don't know why Napoli didn't go for him. It might be proof that they don't really need him. Aurelio De Laurentiis once said that he would not sign any African player unless they committed not to participate in the African Cup of Nations. The Nigerian has proved over the years to maintain his quality. His contribution to Atalanta's success cannot be overlooked. Fenebache would not regret siging him.
I just heard that sentence here, so it is true that they have stated their position, Napoli will not recruit him as long as there is still a story for the African league, I don't know the real problem with this African league, is it because they have a schedule that has many clashes with other leagues so he behaves like that?
Lookman is a good player so it is very reasonable for that price, Fenerbahce will certainly be stronger if they rely on him as a starter, this will make them more competitive in the Turkish league, and as long as Lokkman plays well he will still be appreciated and offers will continue to increase about him in the future in the European league, unless he drops further.

Fenerbahce is about to make history by beating Napoli to buy Nigerian star Ademola Lookman in deal that would be total of EUR40 million in which EUR35 million set and EUR5 million in extra pay. This would be record move to club in terms of money, spending more than EUR28 million just paid for Matteo Guendouzi, and it shows huge money goals of team which gives Lookman deal of EUR9 million every year. By making Fenerbahce their choice, 2024 African Player of Month would be head of big project and stay in strongest games of Champions League. Deal is still at its early steps and both clubs are still trying to finish payment plan and bank promises by time winter buying period ends. In case of success, arrival of Lookman will help attack of Fenerbahce as they go after local and European cups in 2026.

It's actually a small sum, but unfortunately significant for Italian football. I wonder where the Turkish clubs get their money? Galatasaray spent an incredible 75 million on Osimhen, now Fenerbahce is also upping the ante. I heard that the economy in Turkey is in bad shape, but maybe football clubs are in different conditions.
Napoli were probably expecting to earn a lot more money this season from participating in the Champions League, but they were eliminated at the very first stage.

Any new manager will undoubtedly want a quality defensive midfielder, as Manchester United desperately needs a player in midfield. The only question is whether Manchester United can find a quality defensive midfielder if they aren't playing in the Champions League next season. It's very difficult to recruit quality players if Manchester United isn't playing in the Champions League.

Wow Casimiro leaving Manchester United is not really gonna be an easy one for Manchester United they're definitely gonna miss him bad mostly now that Michael Carrick's tactics is actually working well for him Bruno Fernandez and Mianoo they are so gonna feel that void so deep, but it's all good at least dude has really tried for the team no doubt and it's actually high time he went for another challenge in his career, I believe no Manchester United fans can talk Ill of him because he actually dedicated his time for the team as in when you talk of those that actually played for the barge he's obviously one of them and with that he's loved by all United fans, but left with me I'd suggest he stays few more seasons.

Finding quality players for Manchester United isn't really difficult. Because in the world of football, Real Madrid and Manchester United have a history of great success. Therefore, regardless of how poorly the team has played in recent years, it holds a very important place for some players. Especially considering that Manchester United produced one of the world's best players like Cristiano Ronaldo, returning to its former glory will continue to be every player's dream. It's true they took a break for a few years, but perhaps next year we'll be able to see the old Manchester United again.

Lookman is really getting close to signing for Fenerbahçe. 40 million euros is really a serious amount for a Turkish team considering they aren't rich. But for a player like Lookman I understand why they risk it.  Smiley

However if Atletico Madrid has a real interest in him too then Fenerbahçe's chance would drop a lot in this deal. Unless they offer more money for his salary... In these situations they usually ask for more money from Turkish teams.

The current news states he is current moving towards joining Atletico Madrid and they've already had agreement with his personal terms. La Liga will be suitable for a talented player like him. If Akor the Sevilla player from Nigeria can succeed, then I see the same and more for Ademola Lookman. To add this, Atalanta have blocked and frustrated Lookmans movement multiple times, hopefully, this is the final transfer which sees him leaving completely. We will get to see him in action in the Champions League, they will go far with him in attack.

Casemiro came to Manchester United as an accomplished player which made many of us doubt that he'll make much impact at the club but against all odds, he succeeded to become one of the most important player of the team during his time at the club. Getting a perfect replacement for the Brazilian midfielder I think will be very difficult task for Manchester United when he leaves at the end of the season but I believe the club management will want to spend huge in getting a good replacement especially if they succeed qualify for the UEFA Champions League competition next season.

I saw a post on Fabrizio Romano's page when I was scrolling through Facebook, and in the post, the Chelsea head coach cleared the air that Cole Palmer is happy and comfortable at Chelsea, and he doesn't have any intention of joining Manchester United. Cole Palmer is one of Chelsea's best players, and I don't think Chelsea will be willing to allow Cole Palmer to join Manchester United this season. But if it's true that Cole Palmer wants to leave Chelsea, we will know the truth when the season ends.
Manchester United don't need Cole Palmer, he can't bench anymore in our current First 11 and as a big player he won't like to sing into a club he will be fighting from bench. He has to calm and work with the Chelsea manager to sort things out.
You can't really tell if Manchester United doesn't need Cole Palmer because you aren't the head coach of Manchester United, and before Manchester United will show interest in signing Cole Palmer, I think the Manchester United head coach believes Cole Palmer can help Manchester United win matches, so Cole Palmer could likely have playing time at Manchester United.

There is something I understand quite well on football, if you don’t do away with a certain player you will always believe that you don’t need to bring in a new player until they sign a have someone different that’s when they will realize they have been wasting their time with the former player.

Casemiro has pass his peak performance even though he is trying a bit but I think it’s best to let him go. If they don’t look for someone different how can they get the perfect replacement for him. If Manchester United can meet their demand I think they can sign him unless he rejects Man United

I read in the Turkish media that Lookman accepted Fenerbahçe's contract and that the money offered by Atletico Madrid was too low. Of course, we don't know which is true. However, Lookman will probably not be an Atalanta player anytime soon. If he transfers to another team, I'm sure he will be a player who will make a great contribution to that team. Because I still remember how magnificently he played against Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League final. He is a fantastic player and I think the transfer fee paid for him is even too little.

This will be a matter of choice and money if Atletico Madrid is really interested in the player because it will have to  negotiate because the team will want to make more money and interest from other clubs with money arises, and the player did well at AFCON despite the fact that he didn’t have enough playing time. Atalanta will want to let the player go because the player’s interest in the club is not as strong as before, and all these have to do with the player’s performance which will have effect on the player performance, therefore, the players interest should be considered.

This news still annoys me every single day. Inter Milan were interested in making a fast move for Ademola Lookma, but Atalanta did him dirty. Making a deal to come to a halt. Other top clubs were also interested in the winger.

Ademola Lookman should be going to a bigger club, not Fenerbahce. I trust him to perform very well in the Premier League. I dont like seeing good talents get wasted in small leagues.

Manchester United is surviving by the old glory of the team and the players who will be willing to come to Manchester United right now are players who loves the team not because of their performance but because of the history of the team in time past. Some players are not after the old glory they want to go to a club where they can win trophies and play in the European competition if Manchester United is not playing any major competition it's going to be very hard for you to see the team attracting good players again. Real Madrid still upholds the glory of the team you can't compare them and Manchester United a team that is always missing out European competition.

I don't know why they would want Casemiro to leave, it's better to understand the devil you know now that get someone you don't understand, how many top CDM's are currently available for transfer that would fit the Carrick system or be dynamic in case Carricks ends up being replaced, the only player on my mind that can fit that system is Adam Wharton from Crystal Palace and am sure Crystal Palace wouldn't want to release him since they have lost some of there top players.

Yes I know that most of worry of those who think that Manchester United should not have allow Casemiro to leave is actually because they don’t think he can be replaced properly, and on that I agree that Manchester United would have to get it right or almost near perfect because this is the most delicate position. Personally I was thinking that Manchester United will actually be triggering his one year extension and then sign a replacement which can be under study for like a year.
But let’s be realistic the wage and the age again for Casemiro is one reason why he should be offloaded.

They are many options to actually replace and I don’t see any of them been a big deal if Manchester United are actually serious about bringing that player. There is no way Crystal palace will keep hold of him if Manchester United comes wanting him, even if the club persists I am very sure that the player himself would push for the mover further because this are actually dreams moves for them

Currently, speculation about Klopp is even greater, not only Madrid is the biggest rumor but also Klopp who will return to Liverpool even though the rumors will only be on the coaching staff not the head coach.
But in this case I think it would be a little stiff to let him on the coaching staff especially since we know the closeness that has been running as head coach of course this also provides a pretty interesting thing before so this might also be a rumor that was raised after Sir Kenny Dalgish was rumored to replace Slott.

At the moment it seems that compared to clubs the facts that exist for coaching rumors have become much more interesting than imagined with the condition of some big clubs that are still struggling with new coaches whose conditions are a little difficult to force making this speculation much more interesting.
Klopp already made a statement about how he is not interested, that is not going to happen and there is no need to wait for it. They should be looking for someone else anyways, Klopp isn't the type of manager that would fit Real Madrid system at all, he would be very bad there. They should look for someone else, Terzic would be better choice.

This type of change isn't easy and there isn't any free agent that would be perfect for them, they need to get someone who is already currently managing a team and that would be expensive and difficult to convince as well.
Well, first of all it is impossible for Klopp to return back to his ex team due to his statement. But let us supposed if he wants to comeback again to hai old team then definitely it would be such good news for Liverpool team as well as for their fans because we world of football are witness of his quality like his competency in the managerial position, which is absolutely phenomenal. So his returning can make a sense.... But I think he won't be agree to comeback again.

Besides that if we talked about Real Madrid rumors then I think right now they will keep Arbeloa because he managed only few matches and few matches can't determine his quality or badness. But if Arbeloa didn't even make any good progress then probably he will call for another coach, whether it's a Zizoa or Klopp.

I think Real Madrid should try something new .....Klopp

That's correct. I think City got the best deals this January of any team across Europe. Guehi and Semenyo are two wonderful signings that would definitely make them a better team for a very long time. It must hurt you as a Liverpool fan to see that City got Guehi ahead of Liverpool, even though The reds have been courting him for a while now.

That said, there is a lot of depth in City's squad now and they are ready to push Arsenal for the Premier League title, irrespective of injuries that would happen along the way.
They have really been preparing so hard for the final half of the season. If Manchester City edges Arsenal yet again, then I won't be surprised. The squad depth can help them afford to participating in other competitions, rest some players and fill up gaps caused by unavoidable injuries

Arsenal, on the other hand? I don't know how prepared they are, but it is going to be yet again another tight race towards the end of the season.

I don't know what's happening with Ademola Lookman. But it is actually a very interesting offer if Inter Milan wants to sign him. He can win Serie A trophy this season if he joins Inter Milan.

Agree, I think the best option is to join a big team in Serie A. He can join Napoli or Inter Milan. Fenerbahce isn't a really suitable club for him although he may get good salary there. However, the latest issue, it is reported that Atetico Madrid has reached a deal with Atalanta. But it depends on Lookman whether he wants to join Atletico Madrid or not. For me, it seems not really a better choice than joining Napoli or Inter Milan.

40 million euros are not a small sum, only in England with their artificially inflated prices it could be seen as a relatively small sum, but we are talking about a league with huge earnings from television rights and players constantly overvalued. In rest of Europe is difficult to see the same type of transfers we see happening in England every transfer window. Luckily I would say because those numbers don't make any sense.
