This is a very wise move by Ademola Lookman and it's coming at the right time after his excellent performance at the AFCON tournament 2025. I'm sure not many people will be shocked by this movement because his performance deserved so much interest by reputable clubs especially as his contract at Atalanta is about coming to an end by June ending this year. This is a good contract for him and the both teams. Ademola Lookman is just 28 years and very promising of which he is still heading to his prime. Well it a big deal for both parties, So far this season when you watch Atletico Madrid play they lack quality winger and that why they are currently dropping points against team they should comfortably win, like there match against levante yesterday it was all crosses and nothing more, it a good one for them and they know it they why they hijack him from fenerbahce by increasing his personal terms.

It's good for Lookman, but bad for ATM. I respect lookman as a good player, but he's not what they are really needed at this moment. they needs to add more depth in their midfielder. It should be Ederson who joined them, not Lookman.
Wasting 40m for him doesn't look good. He has rejected them numerous times last season. Even he rated Fener as a better project than them. So at this point he seems joined ATM caused by they're the only other team that offered him than Fenerbahce.

For me, he seems a new player that they will sell him again next seasons. this is unnecessary transfer.
