China? The Chinese League is dead now, and it's been dead for years at this point, since the government got tired of spending (throwing) money. Nobody is going there anymore, many big clubs went bankrupt, others got relegated. No team in the Premier league will want to sign Ronaldo for his performance as a player unless may be they want to make use his influence and get other benefits just as he has done with Al Nasst and Juventus. The Premier league is a very competitive league which will be difficult for Ronaldo to perform effectively, he will score goals but he won't be able to meet up with the pace and intensity of the league. This contract extension will not go through because Lewandowski is more likely never to actually take a pay cut for them, this is not because of him been too greedy but always when a team like this are going to give a player a pay cut it is mostly not only about the player’s wage alone but they get affected with also less game time because the club might actually have gone for a fresh legs with the reduce amount and players like Lewandowski wouldn’t want to actually play as second fiddle even with their age and I know he will be getting better offers at maybe less competitive leagues or mid clubs but with better wages and more game time and he would be picking them in my opinion.
