But Tottenham are 4th in the group stage of the current Champions League  Theoretically, if Tottenham win this Champions League, they will automatically qualify for the next Champions League directly (which will increase the number of English clubs to 6 haha). But overall, yes, the stats are terrible. Tottenham are now closer to the relegation zone than to 9th place! I don't see any chance that they will get into European competition next season. It would be interesting to know what the management's patience limits are.

I'm not sure who you're referring to as lacking experience... If you mean having experience in the EPL, you're right for a few of them, but all of them were quality signings and it's worth noting that Liverpool is the biggest spender of the season by a large margin.

I'd prefer to see Anderson as their target instead of Tonali. The reason is clear Anderson is a hard working guy. He's also everywhere like what Casemiro did. I think lad must be a better choice instead of Tonali.

Tonali is a great player, for sure one of Newcastle's best footballers, but I'm not sure about this transfer: he is a key player for Newcastle, and United are a rival team, why would they sell him to them? It also looks like that Tonali is very happy at Newcastle, especially because they were very patient with him after he was suspended for betting. It would be a great purchase for United but I doubt it'll happen.

I believe that Liverpool's management is being very cautious about firing the manager because on one hand he has been terrible (Premier League) but on the other hand he has been spectacular, very good (European Champions League), and it's an undeniable fact that they are doing well in the European Champions League.

They received high offer for Diaz while they wanted Isak so that was a good decision otherwise the financial would be looking pretty bad without selling any player. Ronaldo has to make a decision, and he needs to make that decision right now. There is no turning back of Benzema transfer, so either he has to accept the fact that Benzema is at Al Hilal and that's the way it is going to move on, or he has to just leave Al Nassr and try to find another team for himself at February when almost every transfer window is closed. I know that he is not going to find a new team for himself, it is not going to work, but that doesn't mean that he has to accept neither and can just stay out.

I am sure there will be financial consequences of what he is doing, and while they managed to beat Ittihad too, without him, he also faces a chance that the team could do wonders even without him which will diminish his value even further.

Well, Cristiano Ronaldo has been spend almost 3 year at Al Nassar and right now 4th year is ongoing but unfortunately he didn't even won any signal major trophy with his team. I agree with you. Tonali is good, but he doesn't quite fit Casemiro's profile; he's more of an organizer than a physical player, you know? Anderson seems to fit better, more intensity, marking, and presence all over the field. Wharton is interesting, but he's still a gamble. For me, Anderson would be the best option today, would he be for you too?

I don't really blame Thomas Frank although I anticipated their inconsistency but this is way more. This is quite understandable looking at their injuries record, they are in a terrible state, I'm now wondering how well is their medical team because this is really disappointing and no team will be able to do well with such a number of key players being out although that doesn't mean they will be in such a bad position like they are currently.

With the change i saw in Manchester United after sacking Ruben Amorim and Carrick took over, if Liverpool can sack Arne Slot and bring in a better coach i think the team will experience liberation because it is becoming a thing of concern that after Liverpool spent that huge amount on transfers, but Arne Slot couldn't use those players effectively. Just take a look at that humiliating defeat at Anfield, it is embarrassing despite that it was a big team namely; Manchester City that won them. Slot making that statement at the media shows that he doesn't have empathy for Liverpool and such derogatory comment deserves a review. No coach will be happy that his team lost a match that they were leading not to talk of losing at their own home.

Sometimes, these managers in their bid to defend their poor results ends up sounding more like a joker than professionals. Liverpool went from being the defending champions to a team that's now unlikely to finish in the top four and the manager of the club who knows very well of the history and pride of the club is making such statement? What did he expect the club fans to do upon hearing such statement? Clap for him or sing praises to his name. To be honest, I'm very surprised that Liverpool management is yet to sack the man.

What kind of management problem are you talking about? Arne Slot could freely choose players he would like to be on his team and money was irrelevant. If you are able to get some of the most expensive players transferred and you then perform poorly, I think it is absolutely justified that the coach gets under pressure. It is not like Slot is coaching Burnley and suffers from bad transfers and low budget. He gets whatever he wants and yet his team doesn't play very well. Under those circumstances he will definitely be the first who is to blame.

There is no other choice for Tottenham management because replacing the coach in the middle of the season would actually be even riskier, and I see that Tottenham seems to be focusing only on the Champions League at the moment, which is proven by the impressive performance shown by Tottenham in that competition. So I think that is a big reason why Thomas Frank has not been fired until now, even though in the Premier League competition they are already struggling badly.

I don’t there is going to be any serious risks attached to such decisions especially if the decision was taken in the right direction and a replacement is properly and carefully chosen for the club, it will make a lot of sense for the progress of Tottenham. I know I’m one of those who are always against removal or replacement of coaches mid-way because I have this belief which is if they are properly supported by the management, they will always have the liberty to perform better but some of these coaches will piss you off and you have no choice than to support their replacement too. Thomas Frank is doing less than a serious manager will do for his team at this time.

Champions league isn’t Europa league we would say but it would be really bad to actually just rule them out from the champions league spot like that. Personally I feel like the management themselves aren’t looking at the possibility of winning the champions league but are actually looking at how high they can go in the tournament because we all know that the higher they go the more money they accumulate more and I strongly believe it’s the reason why Thomas Frank is still in charge of the club, same faith bestowed upon Ange Postecoglou might be vented out on him too if he gets knocked out.

Regardless I think Tottenham winning the champions league might actually carries an higher odds than when Leicester won the premier league

Liverpool are also addressing the situation and right now I can tell you that Arne slot still has credits on his side which is keeping him in the club thanks to winning the premier league in his first season, one of those few managers to have done that. Liverpool also are reluctant to sack because of options but with Xabi Alonso readily available they might be tempted to actually try it out but at the expense of some costs to lay off slot and his crew. Manchester United interested on Tonali is spot on. Tonali is a player i admire so much for my team. I dont mind the number of red card he have in his career, it cant be compared to that of Bruno Fernadez, yet Bruno is considered world class. Tonali will make Manchester United better if he agrees to join the club in the summer. His presence will make Bruno progress more forward, improving the strength of the attack. There are also news of Arsenal's interest on Sandro Tonali, is the information true?

The obvious truth is that every Liverpool supporters are disappointed in Arne Slot, he is no longer the man for the job, Manchester City have never done a double against Liverpool in 89 years and now several records that we have at Anfield have been broken and destroyed by Arne Slot, Arne Slot is a disaster and a waste of time he is just a terrible manager and a coach, I don’t really understand what is happening with this man, you spend so much money and there is nothing to show for it instead they keep loosing games for fun, I’m so disappointed with Liverpool performance this season and they will not qualify for the Champions League next season it’s been a disaster of a season for Liverpool Football Club.

Casemiro could be kept though, can't he? Like I do not get why United isn't looking to keep him, I get that he may not be playing forever and eventually he will be gone, but for another 2 seasons they can keep him and pay him and they would still have a good team that way.

Or if they really need to make a change, then maybe keep Casemiro but get a young player and that way you can play them two seasons together and when Casemiro retires or leaves then you would have a midfield who grew up with Casemiro and mentored by him. In any case, Tonali is definitely not the way to go, they need to get someone better, Mainoo would be better than Tonali right now because at least he knows the team, so they need to get a star level player.
