He is not insane; everybody is entitled to their opinion. How does he intend to achieve this when his performance in Trabzonspor is just above average? The club and its fans are worried about Onana's poor display, especially in the match against Fenebeche. The Cameroonian conceded all three shots he was made to face in that game making his side losing that important match.  

He should be praying that the Turkish side still keeps him because he might not have any place in Manchester United. If he is sent back to England, United would simply offload him.

I’m in support of Andre Onana coming back to Manchester United to fight for his place, There is no way that Trabzonspor is going to make his move permanently, because I don’t think there was a buyback or option to buy for a permanent deal in his loan contract, so it’s obvious he will come back to Manchester United to fight for his number one spot, because he is obviously the number one goalkeeper in Manchester United right now.

He has to be given a chance to prove himself once again in the Manchester United squad, because he has obviously been playing and performing spectacular in the Turkish Super League, well if Manchester United have to force him to leave the club, he has to find a new club, and that would obviously make a difference for him to get a new club, but if he wants to stay in Manchester United he should be given a chance to stay in the club.

  Well. On the other hand, what's he left to do? Admit that expectations for him were exaggerated at the time and ask to join the Championship or Serie B? I didn't follow his career in Turkey, but I saw compilations and it was the same Onana as at United - a series of brilliant saves and terrible mistakes. Any club that needs consistency and reliability won't take such a risk with him. Ah, buying overvalued players and then not knowing how to get rid of them is United's signature style.

Fortunately the current coach is no longer Ten Hag, so I'm sure Carrick will prioritize Lammens whose contribution is clear and fits the coach's format rather than Onana. I think it's natural for Onana to want to return to being Manchester United's first-choice goalkeeper, as he's also looking to improve his quality after a dip in form. Of course, Onana will have to work hard to improve his quality to become a first-choice goalkeeper. But, see his performance at Trabzonspor, it seems unlikely that Onana will become Manchester United's first-choice goalkeeper. He certainly has hope, but will Manchester United want to keep Onana or will they sell him, given Senne Lammens's excellent form. Let's see how Onana's story will be next season, whether he is able to prove his statement or not.

After scoring 4 goals in the Qarabag match, Anthony Gordon attracted a lot of attention; I think he's one of those players whose star suddenly rises. Currently, we see him as the second-best goalscorer in the Champions League.

At least Onana's confidence is still huge and it shows the mentality he has even though sometimes his performance is a little strange for a goalkeeper

But when talking about competing for the main place as a goalkeeper at Manchester United at this time, it is clearly not an easy thing for Onana especially when Senne Lammens' appearance is growing rapidly for a goalkeeper who is only 23 years old. So confidence alone is not enough for Onana because indeed here in addition to mental there are appearances that must be considered.

If you check the championship round 16 fixtures show's alot of positivity for Arsenal and with the clubs that their are up against we can assure that Arsenal is going to end this season so good that lifting the trophy becomes very possible if everything play's out well for Arsenal, all through previous seasons, there have not been any that Arsenal have the level of advantage playing against such clubs at this stage of the league.

Senne Lammens has kept up to 5 clean sheets for Manchester United since his arrival, and made many saves that have won Manchester United all 3 points this season. Something you cant boast of as a fan when Andre Onana was the goalie.

Andre Onana should find another club, because the number 1 position will not be giving to him, unless he found favor in the eyes of Carrick.

You are right, even if it takes running into debts to keep Lamine Yamal and increase his salary, Barcelona will be willing to do that in order not to lose him to PSG. Yamal is very important to Barcelona and they know his worth, you will think that Yamal has reduced in his performance but if Barcelona transfer him to PSG you will see that the squad will be so empty without Yamal. At this current moment, it is obvious that Barcelona cannot afford a player whose quality is close to Yamal so they are protecting the one they have. One of the major things to give Onana the hope of having the number 1 shirt will be if the current Manchester United goalkeeper does not deliver in matches as expected of him(his performance declines). Senne Lammens has kept up to 5 clean sheets for Manchester United since his arrival, and made many saves that have won Manchester United all 3 points this season. Something you cant boast of as a fan when Andre Onana was the goalie.

Personally I did not consider Andre onana as a badge goalkeeper. Everyone that knows about football will attest to the fact that onana is not a bad goalie. There is no much difference between the present Manchester United goalkeeper and onana. The difference is that Onana was in an unstable team that conceded many goals and defeat.
If Lammen was the goalie of the team Onana met, he will also not flourish. Now that Manchester United has a somewhat stable team, Onana will succed.

Not to be biased, Lammens is better than Onana in shot stopping and timing while Onana is better in leg work. And I think for now, Manchester United needs more of a shot stopper than a keeper with footings.

It seems recently, if you win the Ballon dor you become prone to injury as Dembele is carrying his heavy crown of consistent injury. It's surprising to see Rodri being fragile like this knowing fully well that he was one of the stronger ones In the City camp, buy getting him for €50m looks kind of a rip off for Man City, I know he hasn't reached his previous peak but this is a Ballon dor holder we are talking about, and I highly doubt Pep will let him go.

Onana was not joking. He said the right thing if the number one spot in MUTD should be competed. So he can take his spot back from Lammens as long as he can perform beyond our expectation. However, i believe he's still far away from taking back his spot as Lammens is far better than him right now.
Lammens had a direct impac to the club after he replaced Onana. He’s very calm and vocal when defending. He’s has potential to be a world class GK. At first he was a bit bullied by the other team but he is far better now after he gain his confidence.

So it sounds impossible for Onana to take Lammens's spot as main GK of MUTD right now. Yet we can't really blame Onana caused by any spot in the main squad should be competed. It's a hard earned spot.

Onana went to turkey to re build himself right, the whole point. And I wanted it to be working out for him. I really did. Then i saw that Fenerbahce game and man. Three goals, zero saves. Didn't touch a single one. Yellow card on top of that.

And about Lammens, it's not even the big saves got me. It's the small stuff. Holding onto shots. Keeping the ball dead rather than palming it back to chaos. Onana used to do that all the time and I didn't even realise how much it was killing MU until Lammens quit doing it. There was a visible relaxation of the backline. De Ligt resembles another defender now.

Lammens also made a save on Isak at Anfield. Just quietly you know, legs out, done. Onana would've likely fumbled into the net then looked confused about it afterwards.

The competition argument works when there are two players that are close to each other. They're not close right now. One guy is 23, undefeated in basically all but 2 of his 19 games getting better each week. The other is in his theoretical "peak years" and still bottle-jobbing in big turkish derbies.

Onana can fight all he wants. Respect that honestly. But lammens isn't sitting around waiting.

Manchester united are enjoying the current goal keeper already and I don't think he can get the trust of the club and the fans anymore, so Onana can just be keeping when Manchester United are playing are small club but when they are playing a tough match I don't think anyone can agree with him to keep for the daby match. Onana have get much opportunity to show Manchester United that is a good goal keeper but he as be performing poorly and losing unnecessary matches. They have some ball that Onana will catch but because is too much of confidence he will lose the ball and make other opponent achieve three point. In my opinion Onana should just stay in that club without even stressing is self coming back to Manchester United thinking that he can be favourite.

There's no way he si retuning back for that number one spot. I myself have defended Andrea Onana too much, blamed it on the defenders but he is not that guy for us, he will never be that guy for Manchester United. He will most definitely be sold out next season when his loan spell with the Turkish side comes to an end. That Everton game was enough for Manchester United fans to see we have a good goalkeeper, he handled all those set pieces perfectly.
