Paper had been saying for at least a couple of years that Deschamps would step down after the 2026 World Cup and that a new era would begin with Zizou.
There are many things done behind the scene between the French Federation and Deschamps to prevent Zidane from leading the French national team during this actual version of World Cup. That occurred mainly after Qatar World Cup if you all recall that.

Zidane decline many clubs offerts (Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus and Bayern Munich) precisely because he wanted France at all costs.
He has managed for four years and won three Champions Leagues; at club level, he has won everything. Now he wants the top spot with the national team, and the French side is built to win.
That's true. Zidane didn't want to ruin his reputation by managing teams with instable performance and be blamed for not winning their domestic leagues or any European competition. So waiting for the best occasion to manage French national teams was his best option to achieve his dream. Hopefully he will succeed on that.

Zinadine Zidane would be the perfect replacement for the present French Coach, the he fits into the profile, I don’t really understand what you meant by he will not fit into that profile, because as long as I know he is absolutely a good manager who have won numerous trophies with Real Madrid, and he isn’t a small coach that can’t adapt to the playing style of the current football that is being played right now, as long as I know and I understand what football is all about Managers who have rested well enough are the Managers who can perform absolutely phenomenal in their style of coaching, I believe he has his style of Coaching and he will be a very good coach for the French National Team.
Real Madrid was a good team when Zidane was coach, they did not require any serious coaching the players where very good that almost any coach would have excelled. The National team job is going to be different because unlike club football, Zidane will have limited time with his team to teach them his pattern of football. He will be a good coach, but I doubt he will become a legendary coach because only very few number of very good footballers make good coaches, and Zidane was a very good footballer, i predict he will be an average coach for France.

Up till now Real Madrid is still a good team all they need now is to have a very good manager that is as good as Zidane to work on the players mentality and help build their confidence so that they would understand how to face any opposition. During the time of Zidane Real Madrid had so many matured and experienced players which made the work easy for Zidane that time but right now the team has changed different managers they are yet to get an experience coach like him. Zidane as a national team coach of  France he excel because they have so many young talents there but the result won't come very fast because he will have to understand the players and work on the best approach to bring a positive result.

Griezman from Atletico to Orlando City. He finally realizes that he's not that good to play in La Liga anymore. So he decides to leave from Atletico Madrid in summer. He has been performing quite well recently, and it's right time to end his career at european competition on a high note.

I remember Griezmann has always been dreaming to end his career in MLS. So he's finally reaching his last dream. That's the reason i don't get upset with his decision to go to the MLS, though i know some may feel it's a dumbe idea consider he can still play at europe.

However, it will be so good if Atletico can win Del Rey, then give it as a reward to Griezmann dedication before he leaves in summer.

It seems gradually, they are all moving to the Messi league lol. It seems like for every American football team now, there is this on popular football star, was getting used to Son and Muller there guess Griezmann is the next.

Honestly I feel this was the right time for him to make this move. Unlike popular opinions, I feel Griezmann isn't as washed as people will see him and he just need a good gameplan that would be good for him unlike Diego's one.

I don't think that Klopp has been called by the German to coach the men national team because he said it clearly that, he will be in Atletico Madrid since he hasn't received any call from anyone.

I believe that Atletico Madrid must have called Klopp to be the one to replace Diego Someone if he leaves Atletico Madrid at the end of this season.

Several sources reported that Klopp recently said he was not interested in managing German national team there is also no communication with any team including Atletico Madrid so for some time I think he will continue working with Red Bull. Klopp doesn't say retirement meaning there is still a possibility of managing a new club yeah at least until the 2026 World Cup is over. By the way, one thing Klopp has confirmed is that he will not coach any other team in the Premier League other than Liverpool so all the rumors about it can be ignored.

It’s true that Griezman could still continue his career in Europe especially in the Italian seria A that’s known for having old players. That’s the only league in Europe top 5 leagues that’s known for having old players. It could be that he didn’t have offer from any of the top clubs in the league. Even though he would have considered staying in Europe, he definitely want a club that can offer him European football.

But sometimes these players considers other things that might be helpful to them after retirement when signing deals when they are approaching retirement age. It could be that he was offered deals that will be paying him even after retirement. Also some players fancy the possibility of playing in different country with different culture when approaching retirement age.

I'm definitely not surprised with this move and news regarding Griezmann, it's a known fact that his no longer suitable for the club anymore, after his return back to Atletico Madrid from Barcelona his been a shadow of himself and it was only a matter of time before he was sold or let go on free transfer to make room for younger talents. When Atletico Madrid signed Ademola Lookman, I knew it was over for Griezmann at the club. His time of playing was goingto be even more limited as there can only be 11 players on the field at once. It's best his let go because a player like that wouldn't be comfortable sitting on the bench week in week out, so this is definitely the best option, let him go to where he will play for some time before finally hanging his boots.

It's  the end of the road for him at Atletico Madrid and it's not their fault thar he has to go, even greater players like Ronaldo and Messi had to leave Real Madrid and Barcelona when it was time so you shouldn't be surprised at Griezmann leaving Atletico Madrid. It's good that he'll be remembered for his time well spent and as a Legend in future. Griezmann's story had to end for someone else to continue but I know they'll really miss him cause he's contributed a lot with his experience despite his age.
That's how football is, for you to let go, for someone else to continue. That's no matter how involved and experienced you tend to be on the pitch. A day will come when you will be replaced by another player. Griezmann will not be angry about Atletico Madrid letting him go at an old age after what he has contributed to the team's growth and progress. His football career will continue in another club ''Orlando City'' till the day he decides on his own to quit footballing or to move to another club, to retire there. That's how football is.

What would you like to do if you were the one to decide Lewandowski's future at Barcelona? To keep him for another year or send him away to start looking for a replacement finally?

Honestly I wouldn't keep him any longer if I'm okay financially to buy a solid younger striker. Lewandowski can't score like in the past years anymore as he is old. However the problem is that Barcelona still has bad finances...
When Laporte won the election then he discussed the matter of Robert Lewandowski, like he say that we Barca love him so much like Hansi Flick is really impressed by his striking positions and he want to keep Lewandowski as the number 9 and Laporte also wishes for him to extend his contact but Robert Lewandowski didn't express that whether he will go to others team or just want to extend his contract. But in opinion Robert Lewandowski really need to extend his contract like to stay here because still he has much better capacity to play as number 9 as well right now Barcelona have a financial crisis, and they couldn't afford to bring a solid striker like him. So his staying will be beneficial for the Barcelona.....

Besides that if Robert Lewandowski is intending to leave the club at the end of his contract expiry, then where will he go like which club will be good for him to move. My pick will be Saudi Arabia. What did you think Guys. Let me know?

Liverpool have officially announced that Mo Salah will terminate his contract with the club at the end of the 2025-26 season. While this news isn't a surprise, as rumors have been circulating for some time, Salah declining form has left the club and Salah with no other option but to terminate his contract. This is a bittersweet decision for the Reds, but a transition to fresh players is necessary for the club's future.

I think at this moment it is the best decision for him and his legacy at Liverpool, we saw how sometimes this season where he was unappreciated by the manager and some fans about what he had actually done at the club. I know he had struggled this season, he has not been the salah we use to know but it doesn’t take away what he has done at the club.

It is still unclear about where he will be playing at next season but there have been link at galatasaray and Saudi league, for me either place will do for him, afterall footballers have to think about stacking up before retirement. Turkey is tax free and so is Saudi so any decision for me will be a good one for him.

Yeah right a 35 years old player is not washed up yet

People seems to always forgot that most players are pretty washed up when they hit over 32 years old. Not all players are gifted like Messi or Ronaldo and Griezman is definitely washed up. Still a decent player if you ask me but he wont really do much in MLS as well

Either way he is racking alot of money because of his popularity, he is now 2nd highest paid player in MLS just below Messi

A couple of weeks ago, there were rumors of Germany national team being Klopp’s next career move, he has also been linked to Real Madrid. So it was a shocker when he made that press interview and said that the rumors are false and he’s never been contacted by anyone from Real Madrid. However, I noticed he didn’t say anything about the German national team so it’s possible he might be replacing Naglesmann after all.

But from what Fabrizio quoted, he hasn't received any call from anyone, so I assume the German national team is also part of what he was addressing. But he later went on to say that he would prefer to take over at ATM, ahead of R.Madrid, which means that he clearly understands the pressure behind the Real Madrid Job. I personally would like to see Klopp in regular action, under a team that plays frequently, so the Atletico Madrid Job isn't bad after all. I believe the A.Madrid board will give him enough time to rebuild the team to his taste.

This is a bittersweet decision for the Reds, but a transition to fresh players is necessary for the club's future.

It's not a contract termination... Salah's contract was supposed to run out this very season and we've all known that Liverpool were never going to give him an extension. Same with Van dijk i guess, though they are yet to announce that. He has really done a great job for the club, but I can remember vividly that I wasn't in full support of the contract extension in 2024. I wanted Liverpool to get another replacement instead because Salah's departure was already inevitable. But now that it has being confirmed, they will have to find a new RW, and only God knows how long it's going to take that new player to adapt to the premier league. Well, it's not that I care that much, but that's what I would have expected every single club to act including mine... Which is finding replacement before the departure of older players. Best of luck to MO11, and I don't think I will ever forget the Liverpool team of 2019.

The French player is very experienced, so we believe he will give his best at the club he joins. Indeed it seems this player from Atletico Madrid join the MLS league on a free transfer, which will further enhance the prestige of this league as you should pay attention, there are also Messi, Son and Muller. At this stage I would say that French player Griezmann is a legendary player for Atletico Madrid Because he scored a lot of goals for this La Liga club but it appears he has agreed to leave the Spanish team in the summer transfer window. We all enjoyed this player's latest performance in the Madrid derby match and there Atletico Madrid suffered a 3-2 defeat against Real Madrid in their 29th round match.

This is a good news for Liverpool as Moh Sallah is set to terminate his contract with mutual agreement with the club, unlike the way Raheem Sterling did to Chelsea as he failed to terminate his contract with Chelsea despite not having any use for the club; he was just there in the club for long enjoying his weekly pay without even training and any match, untitle he finally agreed to terminate his contract.

I believe Moh Sallah will soon have several offers from Saudi Arabian teams because he wanted to join them for long and so many teams from there has come with offers to signed him; therefore, I believe this time it will be easy for any team he wish to join since he will be a free agent at the end of the season.

It's time for Salah to go because he's old and this season hasn't really shone with Liverpool, maybe this will be a touching farewell for all Liverpool fans.
It is likely that the Arab team will immediately offer Salah to join, so far there has been no news about this, maybe Salah is more focused on finishing at Liverpool rather than thinking about the future.

I was actually expecting him to leave Liverpool at the end of last season and sign a lucrative deal with a Saudi club because they actually wanted him. That would've been the best time to leave the club after helping them win the English Premier League title once more. That said, he's already written him name in the history books of the club and will surely be remembered as one if the greatest players of the club.

Mohammed Sallah has lost form drastically, his market value has dropped due to his performance this season. He was one of the most consistent wingers in the premier league for almost a decade now and he has the opportunity to leave the club last two seasons when Jurgen Klopp left the team, but he stayed to trust Arne Slot’s process despite have lucrative offers from some big teams across the world of football; he won the Premier League with Liverpool last season which should have given him more market value but he decided to stay with Liverpool again for another season which has turned out to be one of his worst season based on stats so far.

Liverpool as a team should reward Mohammad Sallah for all his contributions to the club, he is a legend that have helped the team to win so many trophies and he can still be of help to the team if he can pick form to help the team qualify to the Champions League next season or help the team to win the Champions League this season since they have qualified to the quarterfinals.

Nevertheless, before the end of this season, some teams will come for Mohammad Sallah since he will be leaving as a free agent at the end of this season.

I don't see Sterling as a good example here. He is not a Chelsea legend neither did he give us the fans something remarkable to remember him of, Chelsea is like the worse club for him and I think he won't ever want to have anything with us.

Salah case is different and they terminating his contract is fair. The team didn't do well this season and he is not the only player who couldn't meet expectation but now that they need to focus solely on rebuilding about an underperforming season from the EPL title defenders, a complete rebuild is better.

The final member of the trio (Firmino, Mane and Salah). The trio that started a new era, Liverpool will forever be grateful to them.

Well he has definitely made his mark with the club and him leaving can be justified and would be even good for him financially wise. Mo salah will be remembered as one of Liverpool legends and he will for sure be missed, if not for the whole drama that has been going on with him and the coach this season I believe maybe he might have even stayed for another season or so.

This is a welcome development and I’m glad that both parties have conducted themselves in a that it’s ending without grudges. Liverpool have to move to the unknown without Salah as the Egyptian king bows out. Salah has given everything to the club likewise the club has given him everything. Now that it’s obvious that Salah can’t continue giving what he has been giving over the years, he has to go so the club will learn to adapt to a future without him. I wish Salah the best in his future club. Which ever one he chooses to play for. He’s leaving Anfield and premier league a legend.

Salah is really a legend at Liverpool, he has really helped Liverpool achieve lots, he is already getting old, I feel he is having some issues with the management, and their is a decline in his performance that’s why Liverpool don’t want him again. Salah is really a talented player which even at his age, there are some clubs that are still going to be after him.

It is likely that the Arab team will immediately offer Salah to join, so far there has been no news about this, maybe Salah is more focused on finishing at Liverpool rather than thinking about the future.
You should know that a team from Saudi league will definitely want Salah, and it’s better if he goes to sauid league. We all know that Saudi league is not that competitive like other leagues, so the league isn’t going to be so stressful for him because of his age, he should just be in Saudi league and be enjoying his money, from there he can decide to hang his boot later.
