Italian national team has decided to make some changes after not being able to qualify for the World Cup 3 times in a row...

Mancini, Allegri and Conte. Among these names the strongest probabilities would be Mancini and Conte. I don't think Allegri would leave after only 1 year at Milan.

Mancini is managing a Qatar team now. Maybe he would manage them and Italy at the same time. Conte might consider a potential offer after not having a great season at Napoli.  Tongue
I think whatever the replacement for Gattuso. It means nothing. The main problem was there are lots of dynosaurs people in the federation. Unless Italy change all of people in federation with lack of knowledge, they will never improve even if they sign coaches in conte's calibre 100 times.
They have to get rid of their main problem, which is rooting on their federation. After they wipe out all of people in their in federation, then replace them all with people have good football knowledge. They can sign a new quality coach.

If you aware how they appointed Gattuso as a coach was clearly showed how italian football federation was not serious about WC. So i think the better to fix their main problem, then sign a new coach.
It's gonna be much more efficient instead of changing the coach anytime, but always failed in the end.

I think it’s not correct to evaluate a player this way, because you can only truly see his value in another team once he actually starts playing there. When he won the Ballon d’Or, there was a lot of criticism and frustration about why Rodri received it, since his contribution didn’t seem very visible. But when he got injured and was out for a long time, which coincided with the start of Manchester City’s crisis, it became clear how important he is to the midfield. I think when Modric and Kroos left Real Madrid, it also became noticeable for the team.
Rodri deserves a chance and although his form has dipped after injury he is still a good player in my opinion. Rodri's declining performance was also accompanied by Man City's overall performance which was far below their standard of play as in the previous season, so the impact was also felt by several players there. Real Madrid really needs an energetic and creative midfielder at the moment because after the departure of Modric and Kroos their midfield looks much weaker and not as productive.

Compared to Enzo, I think Rodri is much better because he is much more experienced so it will be much easier to adapt to Real Madrid's current style of play. His performance has indeed declined, but with the experience he has, I am sure Rodri can perform much better when playing with Real Madrid.

Of these three big names, one deserves recognition for bringing the Italian national team back to the world stage. After failing to qualify for the World Cup three times in a row, Italy must succeed at the Euros to reignite its winning spirit and strengthen the mentality of the players who will be called up by one of these three coaches.

Roberto Mancini has previously served as Italy’s coach and helped secure the 2020 Euro trophy.
As far as I know, neither Allegri nor Conte has ever managed the Italian national team, and if either of them were asked to take on the role of Italy’s coach, I believe they wouldn’t refuse—even though Allegri recently coached Milan, and Milan wouldn’t object if he chose the national team.

To attract Madrid attention, Enzo Fernandes was willing to be suspended for several matches. Liam Rosenior seemed disappointed, and I think this was a bit excessive considering Enzo importance to Chelsea. There were even rumors that Enzo agent made a direct offer to Madrid to sign him. Madrid responded positively, but they were only willing to pay a transfer fee of no more than 100 million euros.
So, the news Rodri and Enzo were eager to play for Madrid was inevitable. After all who wouldn't want to play for Madrid? The allure is undeniable.

In my opinion, the changes Italy needs to make aren't just about replacing the coach, but rather a comprehensive revolution. Above all, Italy needs to rebuild the talent pool of young players, and this must start with improving Italian football development going forward, including the player regeneration system and federation management. Because, if Italy doesn't revolutionize and simply replaces the coach, it will be pointless for Italy to fail to qualify for the next World Cup. Coaches like Mancini and Conte are certainly good, but without the support of good players, both Mancini and Conte will struggle to achieve success for the Italian national team.

I don’t think it’s possible for Mancini to be allowed to coach two teams at the same time, that just doesn’t make sense. As for Conte, I think he could realistically leave Napoli in order to take charge of the Italy national football team. He has always had very high demands when it comes to new signings, and I think he will try to push for attacking reinforcements at Napoli, but if that doesn’t happen  and I think that’s quite likely, then he could indeed become the new head coach of Italy.

A player has the freedom to say about a different club that he's interested in. That shouldn't lead to suspension because no player or coach will remain in a particular club forever. Rosenoir is only putting his frustration on Enzo Fernandez because of all the recent poor performance of his team. I don't think that it was a good decision to exempt Enzo from tomorrow match.

This is what happens when someone tries to speak up and disagree openly with the mess the hierarchy of Chelsea has cause, I was actually expecting him to be sanctioned when he decided to sacrifice himself and pass the message himself since they were not listening to their fans, and I am certain that if Chelsea do not manage this situation well, it going to cost them more than they think, because players like Cole Palmer and other top players are watching.
How wil they be messing up the club left in their care by Roman abrahimovic and be expecting everyone to be quiet, trying to waste the prime years of these few top players at the club.
So things is not that bad for now, but time will tell if things might get worse than it is, because suspending him for few games wouldn't change anything if they fails to do the right thing.

In my opinion, the sanction is excessive and should not be imposed on a player who simply commented that Madrid was a city he wanted to live in with his family. In fact, Enzo Fernandes' suspension will make it difficult for Chelsea to keep him from leaving the club. This will make it easier for Real Madrid to sign him, as he could potentially terminate his contract with Chelsea, which would cost Chelsea dearly. Next season, Real Madrid will be aggressively recruiting quality players, especially midfielders, to strengthen their midfield. Well, it seems the rumors of Rodri and Enzo's transfers to Real Madrid will come true, especially since both players are currently unhappy with their clubs.

Nah, no Club suspends a player just for making uncertainty comments about their future or rumoring themselves around other clubs, same Fabrizio reported that Enzo made a silly comments about his teammates, and his teammates are not happy with him. I'm very sure he must have done the same thing to the manager, which is definitely disrespectful. No matter how important a player is, there is a limit to everything he/she can say or do.

Imo, I think Enzo is putting himself in a very tight spot. Chelsea bought him for €121M, and if they're to sell him, it is definitely not for anything less than a €100M, which a club like Real Madrid won't even spend on a player like him. Players who try to do the same under managers like pep and Mourinho, were all put in their place. There are other ways to push yourself out of a club, because this pattern doesn't end well in a few cases that I know.

I won't dispute the fact that the Chelsea board is literally one of the most silly boards in English football. I was strongly against the sacking of Maresca because the guy was the only manager after Tuchel, that could merge the team, but for some internal reasons they decided to part ways with him. But that is never enough reason for a player to speak against it in the media. Though, I haven't seen a professional footballing contract/T&C, but I think saying such a thing in the media is deem unprofessional, not just in Chelsea, but in other clubs. Even Cristiano Ronaldo had to part ways with Manchester United after saying so much in the piers morgan show.

Real Madrid willing to pay €100M ?, this is not the Real Madrid I know.
They're likely to use the same tactics that was used in the Mbappe/Trent deal.... Allow the player run down his contract, or get him for a discount price.

Enzo has the right to said that but there is a football ethics. The fact that what he said was disrespected club and his team. So there must be a consequence over that. I know he's one of Chelsea best player, but it's unethical to said that publicly. This is why there is no player bigger than the club.
Other than that i admit how garbage Chelsea's manaagement rn. However, there are fans who are always supporting behind them up and down. So i think what he said hurting not only his club, but the fans as well.

It's one of his mistake to air his interview. I think it's fine if he's not doing it publicly.

When a player comes out in the open to talk about how he adore Real Madrid players, there's no wrong with that but also pointing the fact about playing for Real Madrid some day, every player have ambition and there's nothing wrong with that but when he steps to the extreme, talking about the fail strategy in the club and how throwing his own club he plays for under the bus, common there's more to it.

That's huge slap on the faces of Chelsea fans and the owners because Enzo Fernandez is literally telling the world about the incompetency at the Bridge. Nevertheless, these things do happen in other club but do you hear their players come out and open their mind in the press? Oh No because such doesn't happen.

Enzo Fernandez should be strip of his vice-captaincy already, because the fans are so disappointed with his speech lately. Liam Rosenior understand the current situation and tried to couple with it, benching the Argentine for two games is enough? He will miss tomorrow FA cup game and also miss the EPL clash against Manchester City, this is what football should be about, making unnecessary mistakes should be dealt with.

Tongue

there’s more news from Italy: Manager Gennaro Gattuso was sacked today. will Pep Guardiola manage Italy in the future? every day brings new horror stories following the
knockout in the qualifiers. i’m curious to see how the Italian national football team will perform in the future. but who is the right manager for this disastrous team?

Rodri might actually be a better fit for Real Madrid than Enzo, mainly because he’s more experienced. He adapts really easily to different styles of play, so i think he’d be a very solid signing.Honestly, it feels more like they’re missing Kroos and Modric those two were unstoppable
Rodri?
You expect Real Madrid to sign Rodri? A player who is now off his prime and is injury-prone? Come on, bro.  Grin
Among the better options, Rodri definitely can't be one of them. Not a good choice, but I would rather prefer Real Madrid sign Casemiro again than Rodri, to be honest.

That’s my opinion, and a player who has won the ballon dor can definitely be a very important piece for Real Madrid, even more than Enzo. Experience is always valuable, and i think Rodri would be an ideal solution in midfield, even if he’s not in the same form he used to be.

Rodri is not the right choice for Real Madrid to recruit because after his injury, he has had fitness struggles and it is difficult for Madrid to sign a player this expensive just to see him not perform at his best. another consideration is his age, he is already 29 years old, which is not young, and if Madrid wants to look more toward the long term, then this age is not ideal. so with the 50 million transfer option that Madrid would provide, it doesn't feel worth it to spend that much money on a player who cannot be predicted to stay fit and consistent, it is better to spend that money to recruit Enzo, even though his transfer value might be higher, at least it is more worth it if we look at his performance.

Truly Chelsea will have the final say on his future at the club, but selling him off just because of what he says wouldn't happen, considering how much they have invested in bringing him to the club.
Though at a point they may consider selling him off if a lucrative offer comes in for his signature, and if Enzo Fernandez is willing to move, or he becomes a disruptive influence in the dressing room, without that, I don't think that Chelsea will consider selling him off in the next three season, because he wouldn't be short of suitors, considering how good he is.

I pretty much agree with you, because Arsenal is still performing well without him. Even as captain, he doesn’t seem like a good fit Saka lacks leadership on the field, his contributions are mediocre, and there’s nothing special about him. Arteta should consider handing the captain’s armband to David Raya, because aside from being a goalkeeper, he’s also well-suited to be the team’s leader.
We'll never know why Arteta decided to give Saka the captain's armband, considering his abilities on the pitch are sometimes quite egotistical and lack leadership skills. Compared to Saka, I'd prefer David Raya, Declan Rice, or Gabriel to be given the captain's armband, as these three players are also quite senior within the team, even though their contributions are sometimes not much better than Saka's. David Raya might be more capable of leading because he has the ability to do so and Arteta needs to consider this.
I would guess that maybe leadership he provided wasn't enough? Remember, not every "good" player is the best to be captains, not even every player who has been loyal and staying at the team for a long time could be. Sometimes you have to realize that even if you are there for 10 years and provide great stats, you may not get it because captain situation requires a level of leadership that is off the field and that is way more important.

The team has to see you as their leader for that to make sense to anyone and if people didn't then he wouldn't be able to. Arteta may have seen that, Saka is a great player but he could be immature at times and that might have been the reason why he wasn't seen as a leader by the group.

Enzo Fernandez is a good player no doubt but there is a fact that I believe which is there is no player that is bigger than the club and if any player is causing a problem in the dressing room then such player will likely cause internal destruction in the mind of other players and the club is in every position to make sure that the players see the way out of the club.

Enzo Fernandez is a good player no doubt but there is a fact that I believe which is there is no player that is bigger than the club and if any player is causing a problem in the dressing room then such player will likely cause internal destruction in the mind of other players and the club is in every position to make sure that the players see the way out of the club.

If I'm a football star, I will be happier if I play in a club where I will have freedom than where my mouth will be censor and wouldn't be able to make statements that are not harmful to the club. How exactly is he bigger or not bigger than the club with what he said. He clearly stated Madrid not Real Madrid, as far as it concern Real Madrid is a club and Madrid is a city in Spain, he can go there and join any club he wanted, there was no place he mentioned Real Madrid.

Maybe we need to watch the video and the place where he did that interview, it wasn't even an official place. It was a podcast session to talk about life. I don't Think Enzo will be foolish to speak bad of Chelsea when he knows he still has contract with them. I'm sure that with this Chelsea behavior, he will leave and luckily he still young. He will be able to explore other places and I'm sure he is going to be rush, who even know if Real Madrid will be interested.
