Real Madrid is under a spell because they bought cheap players. That's hilarious, I get the joke. Almost every club takes advantage of the privilege to buy quality free agents.

The departure of Carlo Ancelotti and other key players affected the club negatively. Some big players allowed their ego to overshadow the general goal of the club. This has led to disorganisation and a decline in club performance.

Real Madrid might keep struggling until a good coach takes over and the entire team is overhualed.

Personally, I feel this is not just about having a good coach. But it is also about having a coach that can confidently make and take every decision without the club interfering. Few days ago, I heard two different cases of arguement/confrontation in the locker room, and one of them was even much worse, although the player came out to debunk the whole thing, but of course, protecting your teammates from the public is a common thing, which I understand.

A massive level of discipline needs to be enforced. Real Madrid isn't Mbappe's FC or Vinicius FC. No player is bigger than a club. PSG once tried it, and it didn't end well for them, but I believe they've learnt their lesson, and will continue to maintain a very good standard with what they've built. Real Madrid cannot be the club that would pay more than any club, the reason @shinratensei_ believe so is that Vinicius has not left real Madrid yet so he doesn't no how he would be paid outside. Real Madrid has not giving him up that is why we have not seen clubs that would give high offer on him. Diego Costa was very troublesome when football was favouring his time but he was very well managed by all the coach that has mentored him and he was a little calm, so to me Vinicius is not more troublesome than Costa and there is no team there coach wouldn't manage him because in every club you could find someone who doesn't tolerate everything like others.

I think that it is jealousy, cause majority and most of them that got into management failed as a team manager, that is why they all got into punditry. So they do not want Michael Carrick to make a name for himself as manager of Manchester United.

They do not what him to make his name above theirs in the club's history as a great player for the club and doubling as one of the legendary manager to have made history with the club. I read about Perez and his discussion earlier this week with Mourinho and that the latter asked the president of the club to give him many author ;)ities up to scramble almost all members of the team and to bring his whole staff with him.
From what I understood too, Klopp is no longer in top of the list but I can't rule out a potential change in decision of Real Madrid or him. Until a signature is done by both parties, we have to wait and see how Real Madrid is gonna recover from the mess the club is leaving right now.

It would be the best decision, he might be old but gold and would ensure he brings back discipline in team. Real Madrid is a club that has lots of top players who wants to be the main character but a good coach knows how to manage and make sure they cohabit together without clashing like Valverde and Tchouaméni did. You could see how Zidane properly managed a team made up of Ronaldo, Benzema, Kross, Modric, Bale, Ramos etc.

I can’t believe that Perez is actually considering Mourinho as the main candidate for head coach, and that the negotiations are already at such an advanced stage. Honestly, I think Mourinho is not the kind of coach who could bring order to Real Madrid.

I don't think so. There is obviously limited club that can afford to pay more thanm 400k weekly for him. There is also a strict financial fair play rule that's limited other club to sign him. Beside that i do agree his attitude has one of main problem, but i remind you he has also ego to be treated as a superstar. If he comes to the wrong club, he's gonna be a toxic player.
Just because he's a superstar in Madrid, it doesn't mean he can get seat easily in another club. There's are so many consideration even for a big club from the different league to sign him,. It's not like "oh you're a superstar from madrid, then come here".

As far as I know, Jürgen Klopp didn't reject Madrid, but Madrid didn't offer him a job, so there was no agreement between the two. Jürgen Klopp's links to Madrid were merely rumors, nothing more.

I'm sure Madrid could have brought in Klopp if they had been serious about the relationship, but unfortunately, that never happened. José Mourinho was Florentino Perez last resort, or rather a desperate option, because it was difficult to find a coach who truly understood Real Madrid vision and mission.

No, it’s not really a desperate option. It’s more because Florentino Perez still believes that Mourinho has what Madrid need, especially in terms of discipline and mentality. Besides that, Mou also had a pretty good spell with Madrid in the past, so it would be easier for the players to adapt quickly under him again.

In other words, Florentino Perez wants the best possible solution to improve and rebuild the Madrid squad for next season.

Manchester United management seems to me to be the worst and most inexperienced management in England. We have seen a lot of  bad decisions from them in the last few years. Their management is mostly responsible for the bad state of united.

United management gave Ten Hag a long time even after he failed. This was one of their mistakes. They also made a lot of bad  decisions in buying and selling players. Despite spending a lot of money, their squad was weak.

The way Carrick has worked with united is truly incredible. Did anyone think before Carrick came in this season that united would qualify for the champions league ? With the help of Carrick, united have been able to occupy third place in the table. But we still do not know whether United management will sign this talented manager. I wouldn't be surprised if United management doesn't sign carrick. I have seen a lot of bad decisions from united management.

Madrid need an experienced manager. Perhaps the Madrid management cannot find anyone more experienced than Mourinho. We thought Klopp would be a better option. Perez may have thought so too. But the management may not like Klopp. Or there may be other reasons.

Mourinho was Madrid's manager from 2010-13. And he was quite successful with Madrid. Although he could not win the Champions League title, he won La Liga, Supercopa de Espana and Copa del Rey. Out of 178 matches, Madrid won 128 matches under Mourinho. And lost only 22 matches. This statistic is probably why the Madrid management is interested in bringing Mourinho to Madrid again.
