It doesn't matter if has coached in the English premier League or not,  what matters is his experience and what he has to offer. Michael Carrick has not coached any English team that I know, but because of the fact that he has played in the league and he understand how football arithmetic works, he has been able to put one and two together to make Manchester United a formulable team. So for Xabi Alonso who has coached Bayern Leverkusen and also had a few times with Real Madrid, if Chelsea wants to offer him a job, I don't see anything bad in it, for me I believe he has all it takes.

For some reason, I think Alonso is being too brave by accepting an offer to become Chelsea manager. First, he would be working under huge pressure to bring Chelsea back to a higher level, especially while the club still has the same owner. Second, the EPL is extremely competitive, and Chelsea’s current squad is still far from perfect.

So in my opinion, instead of accepting Chelsea’s offer, Alonso should seriously consider Liverpool’s offer. And Liverpool’s management should also be more realistic, because until now Slot still hasn’t delivered the best results for the club.

The coaching badges in english football costed three times more compared to the spanish. It creates a disparity for the new coaches to grow as an elite. It gets worsen with how EPL is now getting globalized even faster. So many non English investors prefer to keep acquire best managers, which mostly non english.
I can't blame it because we have seen how none of english manager such as Rosenior, Howe or even Lamp were really up to the level of experience the big team expect to hire.

That's why it's hard for the home grown coach to break the barrier. However, i see a little hope on Carrick. Hope he does well as a homegrown coach.

I cannot agree with you. Leverkusen won the title because of Alonso. There is no denying it. Madrid sacked Alonso for a different reason. This was due to internal conflicts in madrid. Madrid should have given alonso more time. If Chelsea  make Alonso their manager and give them a  descent period to strengthen the squad , chances are Chelsea's performance will improve. They have played very  badly this season. It will only be a good result for them if they stay in the top  4 of the table next season.

Michael Carrick has coached middlesbrough in the championship, so he have every experience needed, because if he can coach in the English championship, he can equally coach perfected well in English premier League, so Micheal Carrick is a bit experienced.

So for Xabi Alonso who has coached Bayern Leverkusen and also had a few times with Real Madrid, if Chelsea wants to offer him a job, I don't see anything bad in it, for me I believe he has all it takes.

He has the capacity to coach Chelsea football club because he knows his craft very well, but my reservations is if he can withstand the pressure that comes with the Chelsea job, because the pressure at real madrid is on the same level as Chelsea.
