According to the rumor[1], Ibrahimović reportedly already contacted some players directly to tell that Allegri not include them in the next season plan. The names mentioned Leão, Pulisic, Tomori, Fofana and Loftus-Cheek on transfer list for next season.
I'm one of those who are quite surprised to see the first two on that list... Especially Rafael Leão [he may be somewhat inconsistent, but there's no doubt he's a quality player for a lot of clubs and IIRC, since last season, a lot of European teams have been monitoring his situation]. In other words, regardless of being Allegri's outcast or not, I'm pretty sure he'll leave in the summer [FWIW, I'd love to see him at Arsenal if Martinelli leaves].

Mourinho is a well respected coach, and I believe he will restore sanity to the Madrid squad, even though he will create his own chaos at the club in the future, but the present trouble he is inheriting in the Madrid team I believe he has the ability to solve the problem. My best guess is that either Mbappe or Vini will be sold to try to solve the problem in the team. Mourinho know the assignment he was given by Perez and I have no doubt that he will deliver without delay.
I could not agree more with your statement to get rid off one of Madrid divas from the squad. All of toxicity in the squad was coming from how stingy their veteran are. If Mou wants his club to follow all of his order. He has to sold club's diva to ensure there will be no snake in the squad.

Mou is good, but it's hard when he has to fight his lads who think the player is bigger than the coach or even the club itself. Don't forget he's an outdated coach, though he's historically good.

I don't wanna have big expectation to him in the squad when he has so many type of players he hate most due to lack of work rate, poor physically and they don't have good basic positioning.

It's interesting to see what he will be doing to solve it's all.

When you say club divas, you meant high profiled players in the club right? Well it would be impossible to sell all of them, Madrid can't afford that cause from their history they've relied on high profiled players to become successful so they'll sell some including either Mbappé or Vini Jnr like Justbillywitt said, I guess it could be Vini.

But I'm sure all the players would put themselves in order knowing that someone like Mourinho would be their coach next season, they should be aware or might have been hinted on who he's so I believe they'll compose themselves and try to impress him cause falling out with someone like Mourinho is a big problem for any player.

Guardiola’s time in the PL will soon be over.

@David_Ornstein
🚨 Pep Guardiola to leave position as Manchester City manager at end of this season. 55yo Spaniard departing after trophy-laden decade & set to be replaced by Enzo Maresca. No official confirmation yet from #MCFC. W/ @SamLee @TheAthleticFC after @MailSport
https://x.com/david_ornstein/status/2056469434252882201

Why is Guardiola leaving the team? He could have continued with Manchester City, but he must have gotten tired of it. He had a very successful career with Manchester City. He changed the city from red to blue. That was a magnificent achievement and a tremendous experience for Guardiola. I wonder if he will manage a team now or take a break for a while. Because if he wants to manage a team, I'm sure many teams would want him as their manager.
I thought Guardiola would wait until his contract expires next season in 2027 but instead he chose to leave at the end of this season, which is really a shame. exactly a decade after he delivered numerous trophies to Man City. The news of his departure is certainly quite surprising, and I think Man City knew this, which is why the club experienced a mid season slump, although they eventually recovered.

Perhaps Pep Guardiola wants a break after a season full of struggle and pressure at Man City, but I'm sure he'll return as a manager and be noticed by big clubs.

Leao stats over 3 seasons in Serie a with milan.

34 games - 9 goals - 9 assists.
34 games - 8 goals - 8 assists.
28 games - 9 goals - 3 assists.
Although not extraordinary, as an attacker I left those statistics are quite good, and Milan might consider Leao injury problem, because since he suffered that injury this season, his performance seemed to decline quite a lot, I heard that Man Utd was planning to exchange him for Rashford, would this be a good exchange for Milan? oh one more thing, Modric future also in Milan seems to look biased.

Although there is no guarantee that Enzo can achieve what Pep achieved, but at least he is a more realistic choice for Man City now because he was Pep's assistant manager, in the 2022-2023 season.. and with Pep he managed to win the Treble Winner, and he is also quite close to Pep, so Maresca's coaching style is still quite similar to Pep. even though he did not achieve satisfactory results at Chelsea, his coaching career is still quite good. so next season City can still hope that they can achieve satisfactory results with Enzo.
If we can be realistic, no one can be like Pep, he is so good to the extent that even rival fans and players like him, his coaching patter is so good and it suit almost all players he wanted.
He have his own problems which include hate to some players especially if he don’t like the player, but he is really good and he hates teams without money to sign him the players he wanted no matter how big the team is.

No any struggling team will be able to sign pep because he will not adapt as he will always demand for more money to sign the best players in the world.

Enzo Maresca can try, but he can’t do like Pep Guardiola, and the Premier League next season will be a bitterly different.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that Enzo Maresca is the top list for the Manchester city job following the news that Pep Guardiola will be leaving by the end of the season. I really didn't see this end of era coming for Pep Guardiola at Manchester city and I would say that fans are not ready for the possible heart break that may follow. I am not convinced with Enzo Maresca especially after his first season because his first season could be like Arne Slot's first season when he achieved a milestone because of the foundation that Klopp left in Liverpool.

If he is able to achieve something from his second season down, then he has fit into the team but I doubt he can achieve near the record of Pep Guardiola at Manchester city after winning 20 titles in 10 years at Manchester city. He has left a footprint that would not be covered by anyone soon.
We will never know the result if we don't try. Maresca's not that bad as manager and he has also used Pep's blue print for his coaching career. So it's good to have him for several season before we can sign a better one such as Kompany, which is coaching Bayern now.
I know there is no ideal replacement for pep at this moment, but he's the one who has similarity to Pep. Who knows he can become Pep's regent and he can perform better with Pep's legacy. It's all worthy to try.

Maresca mustn't win the same number of titles as Pep did because they're not the same. The most important thing is that, he should maintain the team performance so that, they can be tough as they're and win trophies. Maresca might not be a perfect coach for Manchester City, I believe he will give his best to the team.
Maresca has learned a lot from Pep Guardiola, so I'm sure he won't face a difficult transition to Man City. The demand for titles is certain, as Man City is one of the teams that consistently competes at the top of the league, so Maresca first season will be filled with the expectation of winning a title.
That's how it should be. I hope Maresca wouldn't come up with an excuse if he didn't win the title next season because there's no guarantee on that. I believe that Maresca has the experience and coaching skills to pilot Manchester City affairs forward to achieve success during his stay in the club as manager.

Seriously I wouldn’t be over the moon for this because I am envisioning this thing with what happened with Manchester United when Sir Alex Ferguson left. Ferguson left United as a premier league champion which means he left a winning team also they actually signed David Moyes who we wouldn’t say lacks experience because had been in the premier league for a very long time but still Manchester later ended the season fifth and up till date haven’t won the league.

So it’s definitely a bit scary when a very long time manager who was very successful leaves, the pressure is usually the reason why most of them do not perform because just look at the kind of pressure fans are already mounting on him that he should fill Pep’s should already. Which is seriously a big one, is I think even though Maresca is the perfect replacement for Pep to me he will suffer small before getting balance

Why is Guardiola leaving the team? He could have continued with Manchester City, but he must have gotten tired of it. He had a very successful career with Manchester City. Because if he wants to manage a team, I'm sure many teams would want him as their manager.
Pep Guardiola was an smart coach for the Premier League club Manchester City because we saw that the club was very successful when he was the manager. However at present, everyone may be observing that he wants to remove his leadership from this PL club even though he has been with it for 10 years and everyone must admit that he has also won twenty trophies for this club. Another thing we noticed is that the PL team could hire Enzo Maresca after this manager leaves City, if they did this i think it was not the right move for them Because Chelsea fired this manager this season,In fact, the Blues played very poorly under his leadership but now it appears that this team is trying to move in the right direction after Xabi Alonso took charge.

I don't know why but I think he will definitely be want to take some rest form the management job because form the past 2 decades like he has been managing form about 18 years. To be honest this is quite long period of life. So now I am pretty obvious that he will take some rest for football. Still nothing seems officially about his next destination, like where he will play his next season. Currently there is no big team are free to call him for a job.

However, Pep Guardiola made an extraordinary legacy at Manchester City. Before Pep Guardiola they were only considered a ordinary team of English Primer league but when Pep Guardiola came be made them greatest team like won 20+ trophies as well as recording 70.4% win rates in entire coaching careers. To be honest this is a tremendous amount of performance.

Pep leaving City would leave this team broken.. and seeing the replacement that's to fill Peps shoes will be a big ask especially that we have seen what the upcoming manager has done and was not an impressive run.. and to be given the responsibility of a big team like Manchester City... I think Arsenal will now go undisputed for a long time..

Just hoping this news won't shake the mindset of the players who are chasing Arsenal for the title..

Pep said we can't replace him   Wink but this time we replace with the same copy as Pep Huh . I think Manchester City is finally see the Pep replacement and Enzo is the perfect replacement.  Chelsea can't give time to explore Enzo talent and has experience but I hope City will give him time Enzo has talent and very experienced managers they already spend many year with Pep so they know how to manage Citu in a Pep way . Hope they can give some success to city and make them remain the best team in the premier league.  Best wishes for Enzo but don't bottle the league against Arsenal Haha because if Pep leave has job Gunner are ready to take next season revenge.

We can't point fingers on people when we see decisions that involve a round table conclusion. You can't just paint Guardiola in bad image without having any inside information. I was surprised when I saw the news on Frabiozo Romano page that Manchester City is making moves to get Enzo Maresca as replacement of Guardiola meanwhile there was never even discussion of him leaving the club, it was later the news came out that he will not continue again.

I can't remember Pep having any recent issues after the last time it was announced he had problem with his wife but they came back so he can focus on his career but the complain then was he was not having time for the family. Maybe he is finally ready to put his family first or it may be another thing. Most of this things are private, there is nothing discussed on the internet that is 100% accurate, they are just speculations flying around.

Enzo Maresca has always wanted this job or will I say Manchester City management has always wanted him to replace Pep Guardiola, it's reported that Chelsea management sacked him when they learnt of it. I think he already understands the psychology of the club having been a Pep Guardiola assistant manager at the club, so I expect him to have a successful spell at Manchester City. Also his predecessor, Pep Guardiola will definitely be supporting him from a distance.

Rafael Leão is a good player, but he was unlucky to be at Milan, a team that doesn't do well in the Champions League and isn't as strong in Serie A as Inter and Napoli. This means that Rafael Leão isn't a highly sought-after player by big clubs (I'm talking about rich clubs), and as long as he remains at Milan, his skills won't be widely recognized. This is similar to Lautaro Martinez, a great player who scored many goals for Inter a few seasons ago, but I haven't seen many big clubs making offers to sign him.

Madrid confirms Carvajal is leaving club this summer. It marks him as the 6th captain that leaves from the club for 6 years in a row. Honestly, i rate him as the worst captain ever owned by Madrid, and i think it's good for him to leave.
You the lack of leadership was the main problem why there have been bunch of problems in this team. So they have to decide the next player to be the new captain.

Nevertheless, since their habit to decide the new captain based on the seniorism. I won't be surprised if Vini becomes a new captain. They can also  sign a mature defender to replace him and at the same time becomes a new captain for the club.
Wish him luck on his new club. He's won 27 trophies with Madrid. So he's being labelled as Madrid's legend.
I would not say "worst" captain, when Nacho is right there Cheesy. But I do get that he did not do much and they only used him when Trent wasn't around. Right now they need a fresh blood type of thing where they get some new players and they need to get rid of the older players who are not providing anymore.

Right now, they are not looking that great and I do not think that this whole Mourinho thing will make them any better neither, we should be considering how this could be a huge problem for them.

Guardiola is a great coach and everyone knows him very well he as help Manchester City win many titles. This season he as failed to win the Premier League for two seasons now but that is not a problem and no player or fans will complain about Guadiola because he as done everything and win all the trophy for the cub already. Now that is leaving in the end of the season and bringing a new coach. We will see how the new manger will perform with the players, I can says that Guadiola as build the team for the new manager to come so that things can be easy for him to handle. The way Klopp leave Liverpool and Slot take over and win the Premier League that is how I think will happen next season too.

Pep's Legacy is one that cannot be overriden as he has left his mark in not just Man City but to all the world football, I literally can't see Man City with Pep in it. But I don't think Kompany is as excellent as this whole Bayern Munich team is making him out to be. With that squad depth and quality in addition to the league there are in, which is the Bundesliga, anyone can win. Let's not forget Kompany stint in Burnley, it was the that time we were suppose to see his prowess

Although I knew that day might come but I still can't see another coach training Manchester City other than big Pep Guardiola. He was the iconic manager for the club and one of the best in the world honestly. It's know he experienced many difficulties with the team but I suppose he will try to start another experience maybe with a national football team or another top club. I don't know if Real Madrid would reconsider their choices and include him in the race along with Mourinho. I doubt he will go to another Premier League club, Barcelona doesn't seem in hurry to change coach, Atletico Madrid no, PSG not obvious, neither for Bayern Munich and I doubt he will go with lower clubs. Maybe Spanish national football team or another European one after the World Cup?

Sure, coz even before Kompany, Bayern had performing very well in Bundesliga during the tenure of former coaches like Flick, Gardiola, and so many of them.. Let me just say that Kompany just came to continue from what others have already done to perfect Bayern... Bundesliga or not, Bayern are just naturally strong and very excellent on the pitch, see the way they easily trashed out a whole lot of their opponents in the UCL, and some of those opponents are even in far more competitive league than Bundesliga... And so I personally think that Bayern will still thrive and do well regardless of whosesover their Coach is..
