After a long time now, Tottenham management is doing good things and having some solid work, which will help their team have good improvement, but can De Zerbi make this club a top level? I heard that Man United at the start of this transfer window will get £200 million for player transfers. For now, Man United hasn't found a replacement for Casemiro. Sometimes taking action is what is needed. Liverpool gave Slot a good amount of time and it didn't pay off for them. Manchester United gave ten Hag some time and Manchester United only got worse and worse while he was there. I think it depends on all the circumstances and if the club can't see how the team is supposed to improve under a coach, being patient makes no sense as it is just allowing things to get worse.

There are cases though where I agree with you and clubs should give their coaches more time, but then they need to make sure that all other conditions work for them. For example a coach might be available right now and if the club waits, he might be gone again and go elsewhere. If you have to take action now, from time to time the clubs aren't left with many options but fire their coach today rather than tomorrow.

This is just another proof that the English domestic market is totally out of control, these prices are getting more and more ridiculous every single time. I don't even know how Forest would value him that amount of money and I find even more astonishing the fact that City said it's ok. That's a player that in every other European League would have been sold for, maybe, 35-40 millions.
