Well, I have the same taught as you even I already express here that why Barcelona go for Gordon instead of Marcus Rashford like both have the same capacity then why Barcelona go for big price tag rather than cheap value. I don't know why they went for then because for me both players have the same capacity like both are same in play style even Marcus Rashford is better than Gordon in term of experience because Marcus Rashford play in big club as well as his goal/assist is much better than Gordon despite Gordon is 3 years younger....

I think so too. Rashford was able to perform quite well last season. He got less opportunities, if he got more playing time, maybe we would have seen better performance from Rashford. He was able to adapt to the Barcelona environment. So why is Barcelona management not interested in keeping Rashford in the squad?!!

On the other hand, Gordon is talented. It is true. But we have not seen a great performance from him. He scored 6 goals and 2 assists in 26 matches last season. Rashford's statistics are better than this. Rashford scored 8 goals and 7 assists in La Liga last season. And 5 goals and 3 assists in the Champions League. Hasni flick should keep Rashford in Barcelona.

Yes, 8 million feels very unappreciative of Xhaka quality, but that does not mean I will also support him that he can still be valued at 30 million, no, at least 20 million is a price that is still appropriate in my opinion, if you look at this situation it is likely that Chelsea will not get his signature.

For MLS, transfers like these will increase the league's recognition. Yes, they've started making transfers like Saudi Arabia. This will make MLS more recognizable and a better place. Lewandowski is a very high-quality striker and one of the best in the world. He's getting older now and will be leaving Barcelona. In my opinion, going to the United States would be a logical move for him in the final stages of his career.

Roberts Lewandowski to the MLS?

Is that the best move for him or is it a move that's hugely influenced by the fact that former Barcelona players are playing in the American League?

I was honestly expecting that he'll choose the Saudi Arabian League ahead of MLS. The Saudi clubs offer high financial rewards than most of their American counterparts and for a player that's achieved almost everything in football, he should be playing for money at the final years of his career.

At the end, the decision is his to make and I wish the best of luck in America.

Previously I felt Barcelona would still make this a short-term contract for the next 1 season but it looks like Lewa wants to make his old age quite comfortable by being in MLS where we know money will flow very quickly in this league.

But this is also a reminder that Barcelona must look for new alternatives now, after losing Lewa they indirectly have no targetman in attack even though there is Ferran Torres but his ideal position is not as a targetman.
I still don't see what steps Barcelona will take because apart from their offer to Julian Alvarez which was rejected by Ateltico at this time Barcelona are still not looking for striker options as their target in this transfer.

Manchester United are indeed on the lookout for a midfielder , and they are currently reported to be in talks with West Ham regarding the transfer of Mateus Fernandes, but compared to Caicedo, Fernandes is still nowhere near his level. Especially with Tottenham in the transfer race , it looks as though the negotiations are set to be tough and it is quite possible that a large sum of money will have to be paid. So if a substantial amount of money does need to be set aside, it would be better to spend it on a star player (of Caicedo’s calibre) , and I think that might well be Aurélien Tchouameni.

Real Madrid are very keen to sign Enzo Fernández, and perhaps because of this , Manchester United may have a chance to sign Aurélien Tchouameni ... But the question now is , will Manchester United really be willing to dig deep into their pockets for just one player?

I like Xabi, but I wonder what Chelsea is trying to achieve by bringing in a 33-year-old player. And if they pay such a high transfer fee, it could be seen as a complete fiasco. Chelsea is a Premier League team, and they don't usually have a policy of signing players this old. I think the Spanish manager is taking a risk right now.

Where are you getting this information from?? I love the guy, brilliant player and midfielder, a warrior and destroyer, the next makalele but he is the type of player who will most definitely become a Chelsea legend or leave for a big club like Real Madrid in the future.
Also, Manchester United currently has too many short players and we will do well with new defensive midfielder with height most especially for set pieces. Caicedo is never becoming a Manchester United player in my opinion,  who I see happening is Aurelian Tchouaméni from Real Madrid.

The things affecting some of this small clubs in England is they keep selling their players once they get to the to Premier league, Sunderland was relegated 2017 to championship still relegated to league one 2018, get back to championship 2022 now they've managed and get backed to Premier league again only for the big clubs in England want to sign some of their players and some of those players are eager of living the club. This is what happened to Leicester city till dates, after Leicester won their first Premier league 2015/2016 Leicester hasn't been themselves, because other big clubs came and bought their players now is affecting them to the extend relegating to league one too. I read that Chelsea are making an offer around £30 million, that's a very good offer for a 33-year-old midfielder. They shouldn't try to hold him back to force Chelsea to pay more because that might actually make them leave him and go for another option. Granit Xhaka is a quality player but when you consider his age, I think Chelsea's offer is very okay. Unless Sunderland doesn't have any plans of selling but if that's the case, I doubt it'll stop the move from happening since it's Xhaka's former coach Xabi Alonso who he has a very good relationship with is the one that's requesting for his services.

Yeah, It's pretty obvious Sunderland is getting upset with Chelsea's offer. So Sunderland emphasize they re not even selling Xhaka because the way Chelsea disrespect them with their offer. £8m basically unserious offer from Chelsea when they valued young talent with so much money.
Xhaka may be 33 years old, but his exp is worthy with his price. So i agree Xhaka's move to Chelsea is unlikely to happen.

It been a very intense drama between Chelsea and sunderland. Player is very much intrested in Chelsea and sunderland is not willing to sell as they see the player as a very key member of the team. Personal terms have already been agreed by the player which show how committed he his to Chelsea and wants to reunite with his old boss.

Both club will hold a meeting later today being Monday and a decision will be made about the players future, for now Xhaka is a sunderland player who really wants to be at Chelsea next season.

Honestly, MLS league feels like a retirement home for European football players who aged. So this transfer was expected. Nevertheless, i feel a bit disappointed to see him goes to the Chicago Fire. It'll be far good if he can go to the InterMiami along with Casemiro.
Yet, this is not bad because he finally find his retirement club to play with.

Aurelian Tchouaméni?  You're not serious right? I haven't seen any news that says he's leaving the club. On top of that, there's no direct replacement for him. I know José Mourinho has brought Bernardo Silva, and the club still has Jude, Federico Valverde, Arda Güler and rest to build a tough midfield. Meanwhile, in Caicedo's case, judging a player's ability based on their height doesn't make any sense. That boy is a strong fighter-- do you watch how he tackles? To hell with the set pieces!

Of course you don't expect  them to just let him go cheaply like that I don't know how much Chelsea  are willing  to pay but I'm sure regardless  of his age being  34 years in few months  time, he should  be worth not less than 50m and that's actually  a fair price for a player like Granit Xhaka. It also seem the players is happy going  to his former  rival  club, it won't be easy for Sunderland  to just let go off  him as he was one of the important  player that help the team last season in taking  set pieces  and important  penalties at crucial  moments, even finishing  above the Chelsea  that are interested  in him.

I don't know where you guys are getting all these information from, but am saying this with a lot of confidence that Moises Caicedo will not be leaving Chelsea anytime soon due to how committed, and the love he has for the club. He is not not Enzo Fernandez or most players that would want to jumps ship once things get rough, instead he will stay put and try to change things himself with a improve performance, so their is no way he is moving out of the club this summer.

It's no longer news that Manchester United needs a defensive midfielder that can replace the out going casimero that his contract has expired, but if Moises Caicedo is their main target, then I think that it's an unrealistic target that may never happen, no matter the amount of money involved.

Yan Diomande has been rumoured to have discussions with different clubs, including Liverpool, who I thought he will easily choose but surprisingly, even with the pay raise for the Ivorian, he doesn't seem to be interested in the premier League (maybe) because he made his choices straight and clear that he'll be going to France, PSG.
