Salary is reportedly an obstacle, but in my opinion, if the Italian soccer association is serious about starting over, I think Pep Guardiola is the right man for the job.
Italy last celebrated a championship victory at the EURO in 2020 and won the World Cup in 2006. Those two trophies, won in different years, were secured under two different coaches.
Mancini was a long-tenured coach, and Spalletti was decent.

Remember Pep is a type of coach that want team that have world class players, he finally want disgrace that’s why he always sign for teams that have money and ability to sign expensive players that can do better for their team and win trophies, once he noticed the team has no more quality players, he will leave them and find another team; while in this case, he will be limited to only players from Italy, he will not have many options to navigate and we all know that Italy is not a nation that have their young players focused on football in this era, so he will hardly accept the job.

I think Pep will remain in Manchester City board to be controlling some things for the club, or he will just retire from coaching because he has gotten everything he wanted maybe except world cup which I don’t think taking the Italian head coach job will solve for him.

Pep Guardiola is a genius if he has accepted to accept the offer then his wage shouldn't be a problem for the Italian national team unless they want to continue struggling due to the poor performance of the national team. If it will take the clubs to contribute money just to bring him to Italy they should go ahead to do that because the influence of the great manager in Italy will definitely bring a change to the status of the Italian side, all they need is to allow him to do his magic while they wait the beautiful outcome.

This is what i called that as a smart business. Santos + Tielemans combo makes more sense instead of Ederson + Santos. The reason is Tielemans and Santos are PL proven while Ederson is not. So MU is being saved from getting scammed by Atalanta.
Other than that Santos + Tielemans are also cost the same like Mateus Fernandes price. So they're also avoid from getting scammed by Westham.

Italian here. Of course I'd love to see Guardiola as a new coach for the national team. At the same time I try to be realistic and I don't think we can afford to pay his salary, unless he accepts a huge cut. Which could also be possible because Guardiola loves Italy, speaks the language, and always said that after City he would like to manage a national team. I would say there is a 25-30% possibility at the moment.

Pep Guardiola has had a successful career while managing top football clubs in Europe, it is time for him to also try and manage a National team so that he can have the opportunity of adding the world cup to the many trophies he has won as a coach. Aside from Gordon, Barcelona made some very astute transfer moves. It would have been more beneficial to sign Rashford instead of Gordon; after all, Rashford proved to be very useful last season.
The signing of Adeyemi is also an excellent move. I believe Flick will play Adeyemi at right-back, which will boost Barcelona's attacking prowess.

Actually if PSG were able to sign this player from Aston Villa, so I think he could be a solid alternative to Nuno Mendes in the PSG squad. However it seems that the French defender may join Paris Saint-Germain after the 2026 FIFA World Cup because we noticed that he was in France's starting XI against Morocco in the knockout stage match for the French national team and he played brilliantly against Morocco so maybe PSG have already informed Aston Villa that they will pay the release clause for the player after the World Cup.

Is this true? This means Arteta doesn't see Gyökeres among his plans for the future. I thought he would focus on bringing players who can prioritize feeding Gyökeres next season.

He probably does it for the money, but taking Nuno Mendes’ place is unlikely unless there is an injury. If you consider all details Digne being a French guy and gets the chance to play for the biggest French club and the best club in Europe, why not. His salary will be good and he is in an environment he knows and likes. And you never know, no player has the guarantee to not get injured and if his time comes and he can play in the Champions League with PSG, there are worse situations for a football player at that age. 

But in realistic terms his chances to get a lot of playing time are not the best. Though as you said he accepts his backup role and can still do his part to help the team just by being there, being focused and ready when he is rotated into the team.

In PSG terms this is an overall cheap transfer with fees being so low and that probably gave some additional scope for negotiation for Digne.

I think Tieleman is a good signing for Manchester Unted and he is definitely going to improve the midfield. I think it's just how fast he will adapt to Manchester United,  but I also think he is a player that should fit Manchester United.  It's true that he is already 29 years old, but I think he is a quality player that will definitely improve the team. I really can't wait for the season to start, because I have so much expectation for the upcoming season.

I think Adeyemi was a good signing for Barcelona. He's 24 years old and very promising. He's also developed very well, in my opinion. He could be useful for Barcelona in many matches. In my view, Marcus Rashford should have been signed as well. He proved himself for Barcelona last year and could have shown similar performance this year. Of course, this is the manager's decision, and I hope he doesn't face criticism for it this year. Yamal was ineffective at the World Cup; if his performance drops next year, Rashford will be talked about more.

Lucas Digne to PSG is a massive win for the squad depth. For the past two seasons, we literally had nobody to cover for Nuno Mendes when he was tired or injured, so getting an experienced French left-back for under €10m is an absolute steal.Digne has been absolute class at this World Cup, proving he still got what it takes at the highest level. I think this rotation is going to work perfectly. Digne can easily lock down the Ligue 1 games, which lets Mendes stay fresh and fully cooked for the Champions League nights. This is exactly the kind of smart squad management PSG needs to win the UCL trophy again!
