Chelsea has spent massive amounts of money to sign him in the past. So ending their contract with him is just book a massive lose for them. They do it right by giving him 2nd chance with the hope they can recoup their money when he can perform again.

This sounds unethical, but in business term, this is a smart idea. If i a part of their management, i'd be also pushing him to regain his form. Once he does it, then i can recoups at least 30% - 40% from his bought price.

His salary is not that big too. So keeping him becomes reasonable idea.
Chelsea spent massive amounts of money to sign a lot of players during the past years, and the majority of those players didn't perform really well. I keep having troubles to understand their logic because every session they buy so many players... Yesterday pop up an article stating that currently Chelsea have more than 40 players in their team. 40 players, why? What's the point? You have to get rid of 30% of your team basically. I just don't get it. And every year they do the same.
They just wanna flip those players. They hope, they can flip their price for profit if their players are doing well. However, some players performed poorly, and didn't meet their expectation. So they have to be more patience in developing these poor players, then they can sell him to get back their BEP from bought them.

So this is their business model, when they sold a player, then they will sign a one to be developed. They just acted like a football players factory. So don't be surprised if they have gigantic squad in almost every season after the acquirement of new owners.

This scheme is also used by Brighton, and it helps them to sustain their team financial even in some moments, they made huge surpluss by sold a player with massive price.

Fabrizio Romano writes in his X that Juventus informed Aston Villa, that there would be no further negotiations regarding Martinez's possible transfer, because they consider the transfer fee excessive. Frankly I had no doubt that Martinez wouldn't join Juventus, as Juventus have been having a very poor run of recent seasons, and their squad isn't exactly the strongest, I think Martinez alone won't be enough to change that. First and foremost, I think they should focus on strengthening their attack rather than searching for such a top goalkeeper.
Actually Juventus had to big problems last year: one you already mentioned it, the striker. The second one was actually the goalkeeper because Di Gregorio had a terrible season. Martinez would have been a great signing because besides being a great goalkeeper he is also a leader, he has a winning mentality.
Do you think there is a solution for Juventus right now? Vlahovic was a very good striker. They brought him from Fiorentina when he was in excellent form. They kept him for years, didn't give him a better contract, and in the end he is leaving now.Juventus hasn't been at the level they used to be for years. Di Gregorio is not a bad goalkeeper at all. Martinez would be a good solution, but i don't think he would be the best one.Juventus needs a striker like Hojlund or Osimhen, the player who played for Napoli.
Whaht do you mean Juventus didn't give Vlahovic a better contract? In your opinion Vlahovic deserved to earn more than 12 millions per year? Based on what exactly? The number of goals he missed during these years is insane, not only he never improved, I would say he even got worse over the years. If he was so good how come he has been free agent for the last 5 weeks and the only offer he received was from Besiktas? Before his agent said he had offers from Barcelona, PSG, Bayern Munich, etc, and yet nobody signed him. I wonder why.

Why did they keep him for so long then? They brought in Kolo Muani and then got rid of him, while Vlahovic remained. The last two seasons haven't been good, I agree, but any player who isn't happy won't perform at a high level either. I'm far from saying that he deserved it, but if his contract had been like that, or at least similar, I'm sure he would have played better. It’s a shame because he isn't a bad player; he just needs more playing time to show what he can do.

Finally Mo Salah left the Reds as a free agent to join Trabzonspor, the club confirms agreement of 2 years, can Egyptian perform better than we saw him last season with Liverpool?

In my opinion, he’s one of the best finishers among active forwards. He faced challenges both on and off the field during his final season in England. I don’t think he’ll have any problems at Trabzonspor. Trabzon is a wonderful city with a rich football culture. Salah will feel mentally at peace there. He’ll put his experiences at Liverpool behind him. I’m certain of this because Onana is also at Trabzonspor, and he’s regained his mental composure there. The same holds great potential for Salah. And if things go the same way, Salah’s quality could lead Trabzonspor to the league championship...

The transfer has already been concluded, but am really disappointed in this move because this is not the type of team I expected a quality player like mo salah to move to, no disrespect to tranzaspor, but I think that their are much better teams in Turkey, US  or in Saudi Arabia that would still come for his signature, instead he is in a hurry to sign for a mid table team in Turkey.

I think you should go back and check the deal between Mo Salah and Trabzonspor before you get disappointed for what the player is set to enjoy for the two years he's going to be with the club. Mo Salah is no longer in his prime where you would expect a top club in Europe to sign him and if he was to move to the US or Saudi you won't see him competing in major tournaments like the champions League but with
Trabzonspor you will get the opportunity to watch him and also see him in major competitions when they qualify don't you think it's a good choice he made ? I think he made the right choice. Check the amount he's going to earn in two years and he will still have the opportunity to move to Saudi to make more money after now so he's move to Turkey is a good one for him.

Mudryk’s been a massive failure, he came for huge money. He was terrible and then got banned for drugs. Chelsea will be regretting those really long contracts they keep giving out. I am surprised they couldn’t legally end Mudryk’s contract for breaching terms.

According to the report, Chelsea want to find a way to get him a new club, and many clubs are interested in him if Chelsea decides to let him leave, but Xabi Alonso is still interested in the player since Chelsea need attackers and also want to sell Delap and Jackson, Chelsea need Mudryk because since he was banned from playing football Chelsea have not gotten any good winger that is better than him, his career will depend on what Chelsea decides but it will be a good idea if Chelsea can keep him.

Finally Mo Salah left the Reds as a free agent to join Trabzonspor, the club confirms agreement of 2 years, can Egyptian perform better than we saw him last season with Liverpool?

Salah will have a good performance in the team if Trabzonspor players perform well and have a good season. Trabzonspor is not a bad club in Turkish league, many top players has played in the club before. Many Liverpool fans are not happy with the move because they thought Salah would go to a top Saudi Arabia club or a top club like Galatasaray and Fenerbache. Some fans should also know that players have their choice and they go for a team that can pay them a good salary and also where they will be value.

I can see this happening if we get Barcola.

@FabrizioRomano
🚨⚪️ Tottenham are in direct talks with Cody Gakpo’s camp over possible move this summer, after approaches revealed in July.

Deal depends on Liverpool decision; doors closed back in July but now could depend on financial package/Barcola pursuit.

#THFC are trying.

Como is completing Chalobach's transfer from Chelsea. Weird to see the deal was only 30m while i remember correctly Chelsea wanted more than 30m from them. But it's a good deal because Como get their preferred defender while Chelsea also let one of their washed leaves from the squad.
So this has been a beautiful day for all of Chelsea fans because the club manage let Badiashile, Chalobach and Disasi to leave from their squad.

Badiashile > Napoli
Chalobach > Como
Disasi > Crystal Palace / Westham.

So Chelsea can't use those defenders as their scapegoat next season because they will be no longer there.  Cheesy

I am very happy for Chalobah, he deserves to be happy and play in the team that value him, Chelsea did not value the guy despite what he has done for them, he was sent on a loan last season and after having a good performance and Chelsea lack defenders, they went and bought him back and now they sold him to Como, Como will be a good place for him because the club has a good manager that can make him become one of the best defenders in the world. I don’t know what some players see in Chelsea that makes them join the club, Chelsea can sign a player and sell him in the next season if he did not have a good performance, Chelsea is not a club that a player that want to develop should go because his career might be affected.

The expectations at Trabzonspor are certainly not the same as those at Liverpool. During his time at Liverpool, he even won the Premier League's best player award. For Trabzonspor, the salary alone will strain the budget a bit, but having such a player without paying a transfer fee is worth everything. Trabzon is also a true football city, and I'm sure they will treat him with the utmost respect. The Egyptian has perhaps made one of the best choices of his career.

This is what happens when you offer long-term contracts to players. Now Chelsea regrets its decision. When it comes to long-term contracts, it’s not just Mudryk, almost all the players Chelsea has signed in the past have long-term contracts. And some of them have turned out to be failed signings. Although Mudryk is certainly the worst case. I’m sure Chelsea has suffered huge losses due to past transfer mistakes because it has to bear the burden of the player’s high salary, while the player himself has performed very poorly.

Como have started with their first good signings. Chalobah is a great player who will surely help the Como team. This season he was a regular starter at Chelsea and scored two goals, which will certainly contribute to him becoming the main centre-back. I expect a good striker because they will definitely be lacking one for the UCL.

I hear some rumors, that Mo Salah as be transfer to new team and I can said that he made a good decision by moving to a new club. Trabzonspor is not a bad club, and I think Mo Salah can enjoy playing for the team. You’re right, Mo Salah is not in his best prime anymore, and I don’t think any top club in Europe will want to sign him anymore. He should just go and enjoy the rest of his career at that new club. Staying at Liverpool won’t bring any argument, and he can’t be playing all 90 minutes. Now that they have changed coaches, things can be tough for him if the new coach notices he is not doing well anymore. I think Salah is getting older, and he won’t be performing like the last three seasons because things have changed a lot.

Such changes usually happen at this age. The Egyptian star had a spectacular rise in the Premier League during the best years of his career. He became a legend with Liverpool. I actually thought Liverpool might offer him a retirement, but retiring from a team is a rare thing in football these days. Footballers usually want to make transfers that will bring them money in the final stages of their careers, and this means leaving the team they feel a sense of belonging to. Even Modric transferred to another team at the age of 40.

Can Liverpool afford to let Cody Gakpo leave the team in this current situation?

I doubt, but based on their first preseason match, a lot of Liverpool fans are not happy, they want more and that defeat against a small team is not acceptable for them even though as at first half when the complete players were in the field, they won 2-0, but after substituting new and academy players to the game, they lost the match.

I don’t blame the manager for that, he wanted to know the depth of his squad to make good decisions come next season, and from the outcome of the result, I don’t think he can let Gakpo leave because the team needs him since they have lost some players this summer.

I don't think Mohamed Salah should have challenges with Trabzonspor, because he had the necessary experience of a player required and could as well delivered, I do admire one thing about having a change within the circle you are used to, especially when you couldn't afford to deliver up to expectation within some certain space of time, so I want to really believe that this should be an avenue for him to reclaim back those opportunities once again.

Honestly, I expected Salah to find a more promising club, but I guess when you're 34, the choice of clubs wanting you isn't great. Especially after the conflict with Slot, it's clear he'll want to play and not sit on the bench, and perhaps if he's left on the bench, he'll clash with the coach again. For some reason, I think Salah will go to Saudi Arabia and get a good contract there, but he chose the Turkish League. Well, the climate in Turkey is really very good. )

The Turkish League is more recognised than the Saudi League, maybe he's comfortable with what they offers him. Would Trabzonspor play in any UEFA league this new season? If they're maybe that's why he choose to go there over the Saudi League, it's better than sitting on the bench and letting Liverpool's coach determine his fate on the pitch.

I really love Mo Salah, I'll miss watching him, I could remember when he made my boyfriend stay hungry cause his team lost to Liverpool and Salah dealt with their defenders, 🤣. At 34, Trabzonspor fans shouldn't expect prime Salah but his experience would help the team.

Wow, the mystery of Mo Salah’s new club has finally been solved. Although he was previously rumored to be joining a Saudi Arabian club, it turns out he chose to return to his home country by signing with Trabzonspor. Mo Salah’s performance may not be as impressive as it was during his time with Liverpool, due to his age, but at the very least, with his experience, he can still perform well and help improve Trabzonspor’s performance.

Bradley Barcola seems to be progressing fine at the same time Mbaye from PSG as well. Liverpool are already having close talks with his agent to see if a deal can be made.

Cody Gakpo to Tottenham Hotspur is something I never imagined. Saw it the other day and felt like it was some random news on going from these attention seeking football journalist. Liverpool are too slow in this transfer window, if they don't move fast they will never find themselves amongst the top four clubs by the end of the season ahead.

As for Mo Salah, I honestly thought he would make a move to Saudi Arabia. Obvious he has other plans.

This was the least I expected because I thought Sallah will be like those big names that due to aging moved to SPL or MSL. I'm happy for him that he chose to settle down at home to improve his home based club because there is a lot to learn from him by Trabzonspor players. Having a legend in their midst isn't easy.

I believe he will have even more enjoyable times in Turkey with Trabzonspor. Because if you ask me which city in Turkey lives and breathes football, I would say Trabzon. In Trabzon, football is not just a sport, it's a way of life. Therefore, if Mohamed Salah wanted his passion for football to continue, I can say he transferred to the right team. Now Trabzonspor has one of the strongest players and we can say they have become one of the championship contenders in Turkey.
