The fee is ridiculous and same as the top signings from Tottenham, Chelsea and Real Madrid this transfer window, although I'm not surprised seeing Liverpool being kept in such dilemma after their spending spree last season teams will want to cash out big on you guys.

I guess if Barcola pushed for exist and I don't know what Liverpool will have to do in order to get him less than an £100m maybe go for another option.

We even need something more than Ludicrous  Grin

Infact it's beyond absurd. PSG are trying to secure the highest transfer fee so far in this transfer window, with a player Barcola  when Diomande was not even upto 120M lol   . I wonder what Dembele or Kvara will be worth then , probably around 300 to 400M  Grin.

It doesn't make any sense, no one is going to buy him beyond 80M unless  a  rich club decides to waste £20M extra on the recommended.

That's why I don't believe this rumor. Just ignore it.

I don't think Viktor Gyökeres wants to return to play on the Iberian peninsula. It's true that it would be about playing in another league, but since he has landed in the Premier League, he will certainly want to stay there. Alvarez, on the contrary, would like to leave the Atletico club. A team like Barcelona would also be fine for him, but it will hardly happen.

60-70 million is indeed a fair price for him, one is not really sure of his health, he's an injury prone so Manchester City should reconsider their asking price, Rodri is 30 years now and will be leaving the team comes next season as a free agent, so what is the need of asking that much for him, to me paying above this amount is not taken by me, and these are the things that is spoiling the transfer market, they should stop selling players higher than they are worth, Manchester City should have a rethink on that demand, and again are they really sure they want to let go of Rodri?? They might regret it after on.
Due to the injury condition you brought into this discussion, I will agree with you that 60-70 million should be a fair value for Rodri because he has won Ballon D or, and his world cup performance is above our expectations due to his inability to perform really well in the premier league last season for Manchester City.

Injury has been his main problem, in the last two season’s premier league, he was out for almost half season, and the team couldn’t perform that much due to how the entire team depended on him, and same thing happen last season even though it was fair last season, but he is not in good form and can’t help the team.
I think the team is trying to let him go because leaving him till the end of his contract means he will leave for free, therefore, now that there is a demand for him, they should sell him and find his replacement.

I think the players chosen are good players. Also, there's Carlos Espi, a player you might not know. He's almost 2 meters tall, a forward. Moreover, he's very young and I think he had a very good performance in Spain last year. Real Madrid and Barcelona wanted him, but Real Madrid acted first. I think he's a forward with potential. At least in games where the match is tight and set pieces are effective, he could be one of the players who can unlock the defense as a pivot forward. I also have complete confidence in Diomande, Mourinho will develop him like a gem.

Espi is a player who has been talked about a lot in Spain. He is a player who has shown his potential and thanks to his height he can also make aerial play in opposing areas his own. So definitely a player to absolutely take into consideration regarding perhaps the second half of the matches, for any dead ball situations.

Who started this rumor, it’s completely untrustworthy. This deal isn’t going to happen this season. In fact, I’ve never even heard of any talks regarding a trade involving these two players. Both Arsenal and Atlético Madrid have stated that Alvarez and Gyökeres aren’t going anywhere. So Gyökeres and Alvarez will remain at their respective clubs and do their best this season. That’s why I don’t believe this rumor. Just ignore it.

Lmfao! That user if fond of posting all these photos from these propaganda merchants who are simply after the clicks and engagement that they get online.
No such thing will happen. Alvarez currently looking at a move to Barcelona and if that is not possible  he will lost definitely play another season with Atletico Madrid. Viktor Gyökeres recently won the Premier league competition and a champions league finalists  he will most definitely get a lot of game time because he is the point man for them this season with Gabriel Jesus soon to leave. He will be the first choice. There's this good bond and relationship between manager and player, so the speculation has zero validity.

I feel the major reason he has been OFF and ON the pitch is basically because of few injuries and probably falling out of sight from Arteta, if a player stays on the bench for far too long, trust me it will affect his consistency. Don't be surprised that, if this Napoli move comes into fruition and he sees regular playing time, you won't say these things about him, his stay in Arsenal is long overdue, let him take a bow, Napoli is good move if it works out.

One less Gabriel in the squad, lol. I don't think Jesus is all that bad, during that time he featured in some of there domestic cups games, he did make one or two difference and moving to Napoli looks like a good fit and thing for him now because that bench is really not helping him and plus now that Arteta have Victor and Havertz, it looks like he won't see any playing time at all.

There's no point talking about what isn't going to happen anytime soon. Atletico isn't letting go of Alvarez and he has accepted his fate. He stays with the team to help them out in scoring goals.

As for Gyokeres, he thought that EPL is like his former league unknown to him that we have very stubborn and rascal defenders that wouldn't give him any slight chance to score as he use to score for Sporting. He can still move to a different league, you never can tell.

Injuries can affect a player's performance, making it hard to secure a spot in the first team with Victor and Havertz occupying those positions, it would be even more difficult for Gabriel to get an opportunity.
Moving to Napoli is a much better option, allowing him to rebuild his individual quality which could benefit the team as a whole since I’m sure it will be somewhat easier for him to get regular playing time there.
A player cannot develop if they are frequently injured, and that is something Gabriel needs to avoid if he ends up playing for Napoli.

Apparently the deal that brings Rodri from Manchester City to Barcelona is not yet closed and the Catalan club has increased its offer to 60 million euros.Manchester City, however, are asking for at least 80 million.
I believe that this negotiation is also disturbed by Real Madrid's interest in the player.

Gabjes is washed and it's a bit surprise there is still a club that wants him. I meant he's not longer what he used to be, and he's often out of the pitch due to the injury. So the move make by Napoli seems a risky move. Unless, Arsenal will release him for cheap price.
But moving to the Napoli must become his best choice for now consider he can't follow the intense of EPL. So moving to the serie a is a must. However i'm wondering how much Arsenal will sell him. The last time Arsenal set £20m price for him, but it makes no sense for someone who often staying off the pitch. It makes sense if they decrease his price to be a bit lower than that.

Hope he will be completed this move because it's important for him to play in the less intense league such as serie a.
I feel the major reason he has been OFF and ON the pitch is basically because of few injuries and probably falling out of sight from Arteta, if a player stays on the bench for far too long, trust me it will affect his consistency. Gabriel Jesus have been basically injured all through his career in Arsenal I think the best thing for him to do now is leave Arsenal and look for more playing time, personally I feel that Gabriel Jesus Career at Arsenal was already over two seasons ago, he should’ve left the club to seek for more game time, the news about Napoli is coming from a very reliable source and I feel he is going to be a good player for Napoli if he stays fit, I don’t know the current Coach of Napoli right now, I believe staying healthy should be very important for a player of his caliber who have won different trophies in Manchester City and Arsenal, Napoli would present a different opportunity for him and his career, if he gets a contract from a Brazilian team I think that would be more suited for him compared to Napoli.

First time i see big clubs like Liverpool getting players on loan from other big clubs, didnt see that in a long time honesty. Araujo can come handy to Liverpool as a backup if someone gets injured. I dont think he will start because he is a player on loan and that tells a lot. So i think he will be a backup and if he proves himself in Liverpool they will surely sign him once loan expires.
With Konate’s move to Real Madrid, Liverpool’s only remaining starting center backs are van Dijk and Gomez. Gomez rarely starts at center back but often comes off the bench to fill that role.
The most logical move in this transfer window is to sign a center back, which is why I’m really hoping Araujo’s move to Anfield goes through 100%, even though a loan deal with a €55 million buyout option has been confirmed.
I’m eagerly awaiting positive news on this and will keep monitoring the situation until it’s officially announced.

However, I think that is unlikely to happen, as Barcelona is prepared to pay no more than 100 million for the transfer, whereas Atlético insists they won't let Álvarez go to Barcelona for less than 500 million, a stance that appears to be a matter of principle for them.

Alvarez would certainly like to go to Barcelona and has made no secret of it. However, the Catalan club does not have the appropriate finances to accommodate Atletico Madrid's request and, without an offer consistent with Atletico Madrid's expectations, i doubt that the deal will go through as smoothly as possible.

City are currently actively looking for a replacement for Rodri, and the main candidate is Bouaddi from Lille. It looks like verbal agreements have already been fully reached for the transfer, and the only thing left is to agree on the fee. The preliminary figures being reported are around €130 million. And I think that’s a huge amount of money for an 18 year old player.

Atletico Madrid doesn't want to sell their player to either Barcelona or Real Madrid. I don't think Real Madrid will spend huge sums of money anymore because they spent a lot on Diomande. Their budget is now tight, and I'm sure Atletico Madrid won't sell the player to Barcelona. Considering Real Madrid can't afford him either, I think we'll be watching Julian Alvarez with Atletico Madrid for another year. He had a very impressive performance last year; let's see how he performs this year. If he performs similarly this year, we might see a battle between the teams next year, and they could spend a fortune on him.

Obviously it would be really bad to have a talented player like Julian Alvarez going up against him in the league. So whether he chooses to go to Barcelona or whether he chooses to go to Real Madrid, it would truly be a devastating blow for Atletico Madrid, who would lose an absolutely talented player and also give him to one of their direct rivals in the league.

It's really an outrageous sum if you ask me considering the lad hasn't scored any goals in his almost 100 appearances for the team across all competitions. I don't see the allure of signing such a player, is it because he's young or what? He's a defensive midfielder but can he step to replace Rodri should the Spaniard leave? I don't think this is a wise move if you ask me.

I agree with what you said considering, that Gabriel Jesus at Arsenal is currently playing less minutes due to an ACL injury. it is right for him to leave Arsenal to look for another team, considering that the current Arsenal squad is very competitive they have to play and train harder to be able to defend the English Premier League title, in my opinion, his choice to play at Napoli is right now, the Italian league is more relaxed than the very tough English league. Hopefully Gabriel Jesus future at his new team will shine considering that he is currently 29 years old and has just recovered from an injury
Arsenal have no option but to keep a player on the bench, especially in the competitive games they will be playing in the upcoming season. Gabriel Jesus is really inconsistent with Arsenal, he spent most of his time on the bench last season. Arsenal now need a strong XI rather than a strong bench.

So it would be a good decision for Arsenal to release him now and look for a good forward. Because we already know that Arsenal's attack line is relatively weak, they should add some star players there. They tried to get Vinicius in the team, although it is not possible to get him, Arsenal can look for an alternative to Vinicius. Arsenal can also look for an alternative center forward to Gabriel Jesus if necessary. Basically, Arsenal need to strengthen their attack line.
Yes, there are currently many excellent forwards who would suit Arsenal's style of play, I would recommend Harry Kane whose contract with Bayern Munich is set to expire. Harry Kane is exceptional in aerial duels and as an England international. it would be beneficial for Arsenal to sign him this season to strengthen their front line. That position really requires a high quality player if Arsenal wants to contend for the Premier League title. Since the management failed to sign Vinicius Junior, I believe buying Harry Kane from Bayern Munich is the solution for Arsenal's attack heading into the new season competitions.

Of course Barcelona's offer is too low but there are several reasons for this:
1) They just began negotiating, so of course they start with a low offer so they can see Manchester City's counteroffer;
2) Barcelona still have serious financial troubles, so they must be very cautious with money;
3) Rodri's contract expires next year, so it's totally unreasonable to ask 100 millions for a player whose contract is about to expire;
4) Rodri is super good but he is 30 years old and he had a serious injury.

In my opinion, considering what I said, I think 60-70 millions would be a fair price.

1. The first point would make sense if Real Madrid hadn't already offered more. Clownlike behavior from Barcelona.
2. City don't care about Barcelona's problems, plus their begging tactics seem to have turned everyone against them already.
3-4. That's why Real Madrid withdrew from the negotiations in time. I don't consider them losers here.

What do you think about the salary Barcelona is offering Rodri? 30 million! Double City's level, practically on par with Mbappé's (if you don't take into account bonuses, etc.)  Grin Almost 2 times more than Yamal.
I'm beginning to come to the conclusion that this transfer may not happen, and that Barcelona's entire interest was aimed at thwarting Rodri's move to Real Madrid. It's difficult to find any other rational explanations.

The valuation gap, combined with the player's remaining contract and initial interest from Real Madrid, has kept negotiations between Barcelona and Manchester City at a standstill. Initially, Man City was only willing to open negotiations if a club was prepared to meet a valuation in the region of €80 million. However, there are indications of a potential agreement at a figure closer to €70 million, provided the payment structure is suitable.

Real Madrid had been a strong contender in the race for Rodri. However, their pursuit slowed as they waited for Manchester City to lower the asking price. Madrid also began to harbor doubts about Rodri due to his age and injury history. I think Madrid made a blunder by overlooking a player they desperately needed. Rodri is like the missing puzzle piece in their squad.

The situation is now starting to shift. Reportedly, Rodri prefers Hansi Flick project at Barcelona, and he has already agreed to personal terms. Besides, Rodri wouldn't need to adapt to Barcelona system, as eight of his Spain teammates play there.

Well Manchester city are also exploring other options too, they are considering a move for a Chelsea star, Enzo Fernandez. Well Chelsea don’t consider him untouchable, but Manchester city will have to pay the right price, which they feel is over 100M. Maresca have worked with him before and he knows how crucial Enzo was during his time at Chelsea.

As a premier league fan, if Manchester city can afford to pay €130 Million on Bouaddi, who is not a premier league proven player, why not spend less on on Enzo who is a premier league proven players already. Both players have similarities, but right Enzo looks more matured and fit to Enzo maresca Manchester city than Bouaddi.

Gabjes is washed and it's a bit surprise there is still a club that wants him.
No surprise is that he will move to the Italian league and then maybe find his spark again. Even though he may never be able to replicate the form he was in in his prime days at Manchester City, he definitely still has something left in him. Personally as an Arsenal fan, I am happy he is leaving; he is amongst the players we need to offload to make room for newer players that have something to offer.
Agreed, it will better if they can also offload gabjes then regain 30% of what they paid to the City when they signed him. So such money can be used to sign Pio Esposito as their regeneration to backup gyokeres.

However i'm wondering how much Arsenal will sell him. The last time Arsenal set £20m price for him, but it makes no sense for someone who often staying off the pitch. It makes sense if they decrease his price to be a bit lower than that.
I remember reading a few unofficial news reports yesterday about a £17M price tag and even though you have a point on why the price should be lower than £20M, I still genuinely think he's worth more than that [in a less intense league and a suitable system he'll do wonders, but Arsenal is really bad in selling their players at their true value].
Honestly, anything that is still ranged between £15m - £20m is still a worthy deal consider they can still recoup back pretty good money they paid for him when he has only one year left. But the main thing is that to remove his £250k weekly wage, which quite burdening to the club.
