Hansi Flick will likely employ a false nine strategy if a target striker cannot be signed. I think Anthony Gordon is better suited to playing as a false nine because he has everything Flick needs, while Raphinha can play comfortably in his natural position on the left wing.

I also feel Barcelona let Ferran Torres go too soon, given that they haven't yet managed to sign an out-and-out striker. After all, he often made the difference, even when coming off the bench. The summer transfer window usually brings surprises, let's wait and see whether Barcelona can pull off a surprise move or if they will instead have to resort to a false nine strategy.

The roles of Gordon and Adeyemi should not be used as a comparison for Ferran and Lewa for now because after all their positions and roles on the field will be slightly different although both are said to be attacking players but the position will still be different.

Flick very rarely plays without a pure striker (CF) in the squad and when imposing this for the current season then it could be a little dangerous for Barcelona because even though they have good attacking power with their tiki taka style but when finishing poorly because there is no targetman there it could interfere with them in terms of goal productivity.

So I think it would be better for Barcelona to now focus on finding a new alternative to the US number 9 striker who is suitable as a replacement for Lewandowski as well as their foundation in attack next season.

For me Gordon could really have the right qualities to still do very well at Barcelona. We will have to see more than anything else how he will find himself in Spain and with Spanish football, given that it is totally different from what he did in the Premier League. As for Adeyemi, Adeyemi is an absolute sprinter who in my opinion Dortmund made a mistake in selling.

They're overspending on players, see how much they bought Tonali and Mateus Fernandes, i know they're trying to build a competitive team for De Zebri but spending too much on players could backfire if those players doesn't do well. If Manchester City end up selling Savinho to them it would be good business cause that's double of what they bought him for.

 Since Manchester City want Pedro Neto, they could just do a swap deal to make it easier for the both clubs, Pedro Neto would be more useful to Maresca at Manchester City because they've had a good understanding before now so swapping him for Savinho is a good option that won't cost Manchester City much.

Yep, it's the business time of the transfer period. PSG has turned out to be a magnet for some of the players, especially after bagging those two Champions League titles in a row. I wouldn't be surprised if that is one of the reasons Ferran Torres is leaving Barcelona. Ofcourse there is also a money factor

Despite all the negative criticism on Ferran Torres, I still think he’s a good player and was very crucial for Barcelona in their last Laliga title the unexpected match winner.
If a proper no.9 is not signed for Barcelona, I think Hansi Flick will use Raphinha instead of Anthony Gordon as a false nine. He has more better finishing and aggressive than Gordon and understands the system better. Flick has always wanted to use him as a 9 or a more attacking 10.

Well, Chelsea might have bunch of players that they don't use some or we may not be familiar with but Badiashile is definitely not among the forgotten players. One problem he has is injury. He's injury prone player and that has been affecting his performance at Chelsea. Chelsea did the right thing by letting him go on loan instead of having on the squad when he's not consistent due to injury. Serie A is not tough like Premier league, he may have a good playing at Napoli.

In the four seasons he spent at Chelsea, Badiashile played 42 games, which is quite a low number. Injuries were certainly a problem, but they affected his career. He was a regular starter at Monaco. Napoli definitely need a defensive player, because they have had quite a few problems in that position since Koulibaly and Kim Min-Jae. I regularly follow Napoli, and honestly, i would really like to see Badiashile succeed in Serie A.

I give a big round of applause for the Netherlands’ decision to appoint Xavi as head coach through 2030. As far as I can recall, this is the first time since 2012 that the Netherlands has been coached by someone from outside the country.
As for whether Xavi can bring something to the Dutch national team’s play, I think he can—and might even exceed their expectations. Why? Because, on average, the players on the Dutch squad are the type who can play at a fast pace and easily adapt to the tiki-taka strategy that Xavi will likely implement.

It wasn’t 2012, but 1978, when the Dutch national team, coached by Austrian Ernst Happel, managed to reach the World Cup final.

Based on experience, I doubt that Xavi will be able to improve the quality of the Dutch national team as fans hope. However, in terms of playing style, I think the Dutch national team, which has long been known for its total football philosophy, will shift toward tiki-taka. For a player who benefited from the Yohan Cruyff style of play which he brought to Barcelona, this is also good news. It is more like giving back from where you have taken. I love this deal for both Xavi Henandez and the Dutch national team. He may not succeed now, but he will build a solid squad. The Euros upcoming will be interesting to watch.

Not related to the above, but there's a move linking Victor Osimhen the Nigerian international who plays for Galatasaray to Arsenal. Since they couldn’t get a deal done for Vinicius Junior, they're moving unto the next fire power. We can all agree that they will be retaining the Premier League trophy right?

Time to free Barcola.

Good news for Liverpool   now you can finally get Barcola since he already agreed verbally to join Liverpool only if you guys can afford the fees.

I'm surprised he is complaining about being a sub. He clearly can't get a spot ahead of Kvaratskelia but it's normal to seek a move out if he desperately wants to be a starter. Liverpool is a great team to be and with that much amount spent he should definitely have more playing time if he's not a starter.

I think the Mika Godts signing is a good one for PSG, he's young and will be more patient with being on the bench. It's a perfect opportunity for PSG to cash out on Barcola.

We saw them moved Garnacho who was awful for them last season to Aston Villa, we also say them moved Badiashille to Napoli, for a loan deal of €3 million with €1 million add ons, with a permanent move worth around €27 Million. When it come to transfer window, no club does it like Chelsea.

Now just recently, Como are intrested in getting Liam Delap, a player that have been so bad for Chelsea. The club put up a fee for around £50 million on him. With Como having a good relationship with Chelsea, especially after that Chalobah deal, Delap deal might happen. He is the one and I'm not even happy as he is leaving, each time I see this player he reminds me of this Madrid player Antonio Rüdiger and he somehow needs just little encouragement to get to that standard. If we talk about how frequent he goes on injury I think the medical teams are to blame because where Chelsea bought him from that was Monaco I think, there wasn't too much talk of him being injured so why is it now that he played for Chelsea that all these things have to come out? He is a good player that love to be aggressive but not for Chelsea anymore, Napoli will enjoy his performance.
