I already posted about Rodri on ATT but still I will try to express my self about his move. It's really nice to see him the Catalan giant because he deserves to play in such prestigious club. However everything has been done and his medicals operated soon. 4 years contract has been offered to him and it will keep him til 2030. It's really surprising for Madrid because initially they got approached but unfortunately Rodri denied their proposal and preferred only Barca......

The addition of Rodri will be absolutely bizarre adventure like through him the Catalan giant will get more strength in midfield because he has very good capacity to sort out this midfield role. This season is honaa be more excited like Barcelona will have strong hand in League competition as well as UCL too.

Suzuki is young and has potential; he looks like a good goalkeeper. I'm sure Emery watched him closely and brought him to the team. Rodri move to Barcelona came as a very big shock to many because Real Madrid has always been the team after this player for a very long time now. They waited for him to almost exhaust his contract with them before they’ll bring him to join the club.

I am still surprised for the u-turn from this player after showing interest in Real Madrid initially. He is a player that when he joins your team, your midfield issue is almost solved and get to control the ball most of the time. His case is a bit different from Rodri's; there was a lot of noise and speculation, but in the end, I think City doesn't want to sell him for less than €80 million. Perhaps clubs are prioritizing other targets and leaving those expensive options as secondary alternatives.

Get off your assumptions because wether Real Madrid signs Rodri doesn't mean they will win any league, Barcelona doesn't even need Rodri to win the league, they have already been doing it. At no point in time has Real Madrid been interested in signing Rodri, he offered himself and the club still wasn't interested. Last summer he did the same while recovering from injury, Real Madrid snubbed him, same this season. The club has a policy and they are maintaining such. His not a priority to either of the two teams, if he were Barcelona would have already signed him by now instead of stalling the deal this far. AFAIK Real Madrid didn’t make any direct proposal to rodri after the links to Barcelona, so I don’t think it’s much of a surprise to them because they don’t seems to be very interested in signing him earlier on. Even though the switch to Barcelona was a bit surprising because we’ve been hearing Fabrizio Romano saying Rodri wants a move to Real Madrid all this while before suddenly Barcelona entered the chase and he agreed to their offer.

This season would be very interesting and competitive in the Laliga especially between Real Madrid and Barcelona, and the El Classico will be as exciting.

Sometimes you just have to believe that some of the suspense we get during transfer news is so because those involved want to get attention and nothing too out of the ordinary. From the time the whole transfer stuff started and gained momentum, I already knew that Rodri was going to Barcelona if the transfer is going to to pull through. It's just a matter of time for us to eventually see it happening that way.

Players are to an extent attached to certain clubs and apart from issue of club being able to meet up with Thier transfer clause, it's always most likely that they've decided on the club they will be playing for all thing being equal. I watched last night match between Schalke and Real Madrid, which ended in a 0-3 victory for Real Madrid. Yan Diomande came on in the second half, His performance didn't look particularly impressive, but I think it was his first match so it's natural for him to be nervous playing with star players. Yan Diomande occasionally made some good runs and delivered some decent passes but Vinicius Junior failed to convert them into goals. It's too early to conclude that Yan Diomande purchase was a waste of time. He will prove his worth in official competition. Fans will have to be patient to see his development with the team due to his young age.

Mate I agree with your point but if you play with the biggest star and it's your first day you definitely be nervous So I think we need to give some time to yan diamonde. He is actually very talented guy but they need a little time to adopt the Madrid system. The value is fair but a little bit high but madrid have the money and they doing same in every transfer window so nothing is concerning about has value. I agree with your second point as well they get easily rodri and a winger with that's money but actually they are not interested in rodri they offer to Madrid personally but Madrid are not interested in him. Rodri is a good addition to Barca, every team needs a midfielder who has the ability to slow things down to maintain an attacking/defensive balance and efficiency when things get too intense, Rodri can do that for them. With his presence, Pedri can fully focus on creating better attacks while he manages the defensive midfield and coordinates defense so that they're not overrun by opposition sharp counter attacks. He can create such balance in the team and with his experience and leadership qualities which he so displayed in the world cup, Barcelona would benefit very well from this investment

Manchester City are always fooled by Barcelona in terms of transfers so they should not be stuck with the same conditions every transfer player.
Now 80 million will still be a price considered appropriate for Manchester City for Rodri despite his considerable age and the fact that his contract does not have much left.

Likely to happen.
1. There will be more manufer from Barcelona with increasing clauses.
2. Barcelona will let this end in the summer transfer window and will try to catch up again in the winter transfer window in the hope that Rodri does not renew the contract.
3. There are other clubs that will make this drama interesting. Madrid, who were previously strong candidates at this time, are still not moving and there could be a new clause given by Perez.

It looks like the bet didn't pay off; the parties reached an agreement. Now the price has dropped to 1.5 cents, which, by the way, is too high for me. I would have bought it again at 0.5 cents or less, since there's always the possibility of the deal falling through due to a medical examination.

Suzuki also had matches where he was a substitute during his time at Parma. He and Corvi took turns in goal together at Parma. I don't think he's the kind of goalkeeper who would mind being a substitute, whether at Paris Saint-Germain or Aston Villa. Besides, I watched a few of his matches and liked him. The Japanese player is 23 years old and a transfer for the future. I hope his team can benefit from him as much as possible.

Suzuki isn’t going to be a substitute for Aston Villa, he is a very good player and I was very impressed with his performance in the World Cup, from informations I’m getting from Aston Villa he is the possible first Choice Goalkeeper now, Emiliano Martinez was expected to leave Aston Villa for Juventus, but instead the deal broke down as they went in for Vicario from Tottenham which have signed for Juventus, unfortunately for Martinez he has to look for a different club because he isn’t going to be the number 1 for Aston Villa anymore, Aston Villa have decided to move on from Martinez because of so much speculations from him to leave the club, So let’s watch and see what happens with Martinez and Aston Villa.

I don’t think we should draw conclusions based on just one match, some players need much more time to adapt. But on the other hand, I agree that a player who costs that much should be settling into the team much better, but let’s give him some time. Besides, I like the way Real have been playing in their friendly matches. Apart from maybe a couple of results, such as the draw with Fiorentina, they’ve looked very good in the other games.

I'm not saying Diomande is a good or bad player but you really can not use highlights to rate a player. Of course, you don't expect to see the bad side of him in the highlights, it's always a combination of good performance of the player you find in the highlights. It you want to rate a player honestly, you have to watch them play full match for multiple times because even one match is not enough to give a good rating.

Well, he's an African player and most of them actually look older than their actual age. The environment and lifestyle contribute to this. Hot sun, hard labour, stress and the types of food we consume is the reason for our older look. I'm not saying he's actually 19 as claimed but I'm saying there's probability that's his actual age. He has no other choice but to play, but if the chance arises during the January transfer window  he will be gone for good. He was willing to rejoin his former manager at Manchester City but the figures to be paid to get him will be too much at the same time they have too many issues with the psr they're facing.

There's a here we go for Rodri to Barcelona already. They already sold him for a lesser amount than what they initially wanted. I love the understanding between Manchester City and Barcelona, most especially when they're attempting to sign a player from them.

It looks like you need to update the news again. PSG has canceled the signing of Zion Suzuki. Now Aston Villa is in negotiations with Parma to sign him for a transfer fee of around 30 million euros. However, Suzuki is not being brought in as the starting goalkeeper, as it’s impossible for him to replace Emiliano Martinez, who is far superior to Suzuki. So, Aston Villa is bringing in Suzuki as the second-string goalkeeper, and Marco Bizot will be demoted to third-string goalkeeper.

That's my fear for Barca, would Flick let him improve Barca's existing style of football or would he integrate Rodri to play strictly on the team's previous pattern of football. Some managers don't care about a player's individual skills, they orchestrate a strategy to change every player's style of play into obeying strategies they've designed for the club. An Example of what I'm saying is what happened between Amorim and Rashford.
