Enzo Fernandez has returned to playing decidedly more concrete football, giving certainty to questions that fans have been asking for some time.
Chelsea is lucky that the team interested in him does not want to come forward for the requested fee because this gives the Blues the chance to play another championship with one of their best players in midfield.
Enzo Fernandez has returned to Chelsea to play some real football and we think he is an important midfielder for the Blues because he played a key role for the team last season. However we all noticed there were rumors at the time that Chelsea would not keep him, which led to Manchester City being interested in signing the midfielder since their team's world-class midfielder Rodri joined Barcelona for approximately 77 million euros. Besides the price the Blues are asking for Enzo Fernandez is a much more difficult and expensive offer for the city giants, as you may have noticed Chelsea's asking price for this Argentine midfielder is 120 million euros. But it still seems that Manchester City's new manager Enzo Maresca is keen to work with the player again for the 2026/27 Premier League season because to my knowledge it was during his time at Chelsea that he became an influential attacking midfielder under Maresca.

Despite not having a release clause, there's still a possibility if Arteta and Berta approve it, but I highly doubt Zubimendi will force a move [he may not be our first and second choice DM, but with the amount of games Arsenal have to play (rotations) and the usual injuries that they'll get, I'm pretty sure that's still going to be enough for him to stay].
IMO, Arsenal shouldn't wait for Zubimendi to force a move; Arsenal should sell him and make some money off the deal. There's already a rumour that Lewis Skelly is unsettled following the purchase of Guimarães from Newcastle United. He has been linked with Man United and Chelsea. If the rumour were to be true, selling Zubimendi might make him change his mind and stay at Arsenal. Lewis Skelly is the future and Arsenal shouldn't lose him.

Rodri to Barcelona is finally done with 65M and another 5M for (don't really care) . A bit pricey but it still close to the border line , could have been really pissed if Barcelona pays 70M+ on signing alone . Heard he signed a contract till 2030, think he's trying to end it at Camp nou . All that's left is Avarez, or should I say Atletico because Atletico is currently the problem lol. Just let him go I think Rodri's transfer will reshape Barcelona's midfield. From what I can see, they've found the best midfielder since Busquets. Busquets was also very good in midfield at Barcelona. After he left, Barcelona hasn't been able to find anyone as good as him. Rodri is now coming to fill that gap. It was also a transfer coup for Real Madrid. Real Madrid wanted Rodri but got nothing in return. Barcelona signing rodri is one of the best transfer of this season, since the start of the transfer window all teams have been trying to reinforce there midfield but lacked quality midfielder but at last Barcelona finding a way to his signature is a prove that they will be one of the best team next season. Still surprised how the storyline changed, at first it was a move to Real Madrid that was mentioned but at last what we are seeing is different from the first expectation of all but all happened just to confirm the uncertainty in the world of football. In football it is not over until it is over

Very simple question for you: are you implying that Barcelona and Real Madrid are basically in the same financial situation?
Is that what you got from all the explanations I just made? Madrid generated more money than Barcelona. They were not in a financial mess like Barcelona a few years ago, so how can they be in the same financial situation? They have also moved to a new, fully renovated stadium, so how can they be in the same financial situation? Even before COVID, when Barcelona were not in a mess, Madrid was in a better financial situation than Barcelona, so I don't understand why you would ask this. Or do you imply that because Madrid are in a better financial situation than Barcelona, it invariably means that Barcelona is still in a mess? Madrid are obviously in a better place financially than Barcelona, but even you can see that they are not completely in the clear, just like all the teams in La Liga. There is a reason Madrid has been trying to get players for free and spend big on players where it is absolutely necessary and because they have teh best finance in the league, they have a higher salary cap, so registering players would not be much of an issue. Like I've already told you before, the problem is not whether they make the money because Madrid and Barcelona make a lot of money, the problem is the restrictions of La Liga. You are the one who brought Real Madrid in the conversation saying Madrid has a gross debt of about $1.3 billion
And I really don't understand what Real Madrid's financial situation has to do with Barcelona's. The Catalan team still has a huge debt, over the last years they improved their situation because they had no other choice, they had to. But they are not out of the woods, absolutely not. As far as I know, Real Madrid have never been even close to Barcelona's financial situation so, once again, why did you even mention Real Madrid in this topic?

There's already a rumour that Lewis Skelly is unsettled following the purchase of Guimarães from Newcastle United. He has been linked with Man United and Chelsea. If the rumour were to be true, selling Zubimendi might make him change his mind and stay at Arsenal. Lewis Skelly is the future and Arsenal shouldn't lose him.
Rumors of Lewis-Skelly’s dissatisfaction—and his desire to leave due to Zubimendi’s increasingly solidified position—came to the surface when Lewis-Skelly was substituted for Zubimendi in the 75th minute of the Community Shield match. For media outlets looking for story material, the situation during that match could serve as further evidence of what I’m referring to. Ultimately, we’re confident that Lewis-Skelly will remain at the Emirates because we believe he’s a long-term project who can make a difference for Arsenal. In this regard, I don’t want to overstate things by comparing him to other great Arsenal players who are homegrown.

AFAIK Real Madrid didn't make any direct proposal to rodri after the links to Barcelona, so I don't think it's much of a surprise to them because they don't seems to be very interested in signing him earlier on. Even though the switch to Barcelona was a bit surprising because we've been hearing Fabrizio Romano saying Rodri wants a move to Real Madrid all this while before suddenly Barcelona entered the chase and he agreed to their offer.
This season would be very interesting and competitive in the Laliga especially between Real Madrid and Barcelona, and the El Classico will be as exciting.
He was interested in Rodri but not so much when Barcelona were, but by doing so Barcelona have strengthened themselves a lot, it will be a good challenge and they will play it to win the La Liga. Of course the El Classico will be very exciting and interesting. We'll see who wins, it will be fun that's for sure.

Just let him go After the arrival of Rodri and Cancelo I only want one player to compete Barcelona squad and that's is Alvarez but Atletico make this transfer very difficult I don't know why Simeone think if they out alvarez's Atletico can be no more good team in UCl because last season they reached to semi-finals because of alvarez's brilliant performance in the last stage of UCL. Barcelona completely changed if they sign alvarez's for next season because they already completed the midfield and defence but the only remaining hole is the striker position but I think Barcelona and Deco can find the alternative options if Atletico can not prefer alvarez's to leave. The addition of Rodri in Barcelona squad make the squad pretty much completed. But I think if we add one striker and one defender in that's squad I think Barcelona can compete for ucl next season and they are pretty much favourites for UCl.i just hope Deco can find the alternative of alvarez's as well if we didn't reached meet the deal with Atletico I think Deco can go for oshiman or Lautaro Martinez that the current best option right now.

Do you think that’s how football works, haven’t you heard that it’s contract that is binding a player and a club together? And in period of separation both player and club must have to mutual agree first? One party can not agree and force it on the other, that’s why you see that aside agreeing fee with a club, there would also be player contracts terms agreement too with the player and if one of this agreement actually fails the deal automatically collapses. So by this standard Arsenal cannot simply just wake up and sell off Zubimendi like you said, yes they can inform the player of the desire of the club to move away from him probably because he is not in their plans and the player could be open to move, any club that still comes to buy him must have make sure the player agrees to their term because if he doesn’t agree they can sign him and that’s where you see players not been wanted sits on the bench until the contract expires. If a club doesn’t want him to stay even on the bench there is a mutual option of terminating that contract binding the player to the club which is paying off all his wages and bonuses for the reminder of the years on that contract and possibly also some extra money for inconvenience I think. But if it was the other way round like player forcing his move against club will to sell then such player would have to pay off his buyout clause either by himself or the club trying to sign him

It's a sense reason, but he may also consider Madrid if he can also get a regular time to play there. Honestly, i think any player wants to get a spot to always be the first choice to play in the starting line up. So Madrid can use that reason to lure him in only if they're really wanna signing him. However, Martin Zubimendi is an extraordinary players like he has lot of quality and even in Real Madrid sweet he can submit himself too easy. Thus far right now Arsenal got Bruno Guimaraes and definitely they will used Martin Zubimendi as second choice. So I think this deal can easily be sealed in the favor of Real Madrid.
It's most likely Arteta will put him as the least choice. If he wants more minutes, then he has to leave. I guess Rice is always be the number one followed by Bruno, then him. Wasting his time to be a last choice is not good when he's still 27 yo. My reason is Madrid obviously needs a good DMF who can help them in defense. Imagine if Cama gets injury, then Madrid has to rely upon Tchouameni all time.

So because Real Madrid didn't sign Rodri means they will not win the league or because if Barcelona signs Rodri means they will win the league? Get off your assumptions because wether Real Madrid signs Rodri doesn't mean they will win any league, Barcelona doesn't even need Rodri to win the league, they have already been doing it. At no point in time has Real Madrid been interested in signing Rodri, he offered himself and the club still wasn't interested. Last summer he did the same while recovering from injury, Real Madrid snubbed him, same this season. The club has a policy and they are maintaining such. His not a priority to either of the two teams, if he were Barcelona would have already signed him by now instead of stalling the deal this far. Other clubs are not that interested because if they were Barcelona won't have been the only team in contention, stop saying it as if, Rodri is the key to either Real Madrid or Barcelona winning the league.
Real Madrid is strong even without Rodri, of course they would have strengthened themselves and they took him anyway. Barcelona also won without Rodri but now have a more complete and stronger team. We'll see who made the best choice, i just know that Rodri is strong and knows how to play and makes people play well. Rodri rightly wanted a strong team to still be able to win.

This should be a great opportunity for Real Madrid to strengthen their midfield by signing Zubimendi. After all, Real Madrid hasn’t had a good defensive midfielder in quite some time. Zubimendi would be a great signing for Real Madrid because he’s a talented player who’s already experienced the atmosphere of La Liga, so it won’t be too difficult for him to adapt. Furthermore, Arsenal is reportedly looking to sell Zubimendi, and Real Madrid shouldn’t let this opportunity slip away, especially since they’ve already lost Rodri to Barcelona. I hope Real Madrid brings Zubimendi to the Santiago Bernabéu soon.

Bought by PSG and then immediately loaned to Aston Villa, in order to get decent playing time. So now Emiliano Martinez position is starting to shift? I don't know much about Suzuki, other than seeing his performance at the World Cup. A good career improvement, Suzuki just needs to be patient because to take the main goalkeeper position of Emiliano is definitely not easy.
Actually in this case to compete with Emi for the position of the main goalkeeper at Aston Villa I think it is quite difficult for Suzuki because even though at the moment the age difference is quite far but for the size of the goalkeeper I think it is not a problem other than that Emi's experience will not make him falter with his position at Aston Villa. But by looking at some of the rumours that are happening now it becomes different because now it is not just Juventus rumours that are eyeing Emi but Tottenham are also working to get close so maybe this is another consideration for Aston Villa when they sell Emi but there is still Suzuki as an option. Is there anything Suzuki can do? He is a potential goalkeeper for Japan and we know he did quite well not only at the World Cup but in Serie A and even he was able to keep Parma in the main competition last season. But serie A and the Premier League are clearly different not only in terms of the game for the attacking players but also for the defenders. We even saw Onana fail at Manchester after succeeding as one of the most celebrated players at Inter.

Mourinho does not trust Camavinga and Raul Asenso, but Real Madrid has made it clear that they need to sell Camavinga and Asenso before signing any player, so signing Zubimendi or any signing to Real Madrid is going to depend on selling some players.

I really hope Martin Zubimendi plays with Real Madrid currently Real Madrid still needs players in the midfield. Since being lived in by Toni Kross who retired. Real Madrid is missing a midfielder who can control the tempo of the game, Zubimendi is one of the solutions regarding Real Madrid current midfield. In my opinion Real Madrid should now look for other alternatives for players who play a similar style to Rodri, who has agreed to play for Barcelona. I am very confident that if this rumor is true Zubimendi will move to play for Real Madrid next season. he will develop greatly Mourinho will give him a chance. Eduardo Camavinga performance has declined. He often makes mistakes. I think this is an opportunity for him to play with Real Madrid rather than stay at Arsenal.

Zubimendi was previously linked with a move to Arsenal before his move to Arsenal but speculations said he didn't swing that way because of the midfield overload with Real Madrid. Leave Rodri out of the conversation, if Jose Mourinho has given the go ahead and if Real Madrid can come to an agreement with Zubimendi right now, they can make things happen for him to switch sides with Arsenal. If he will be the one to fix their midfield, then why not splurge that cash? It should be worth it. Real Madrid do not cry over a player missed, they will always improvise and make an alternative. Zubimendi can detect games well, it is just that he dropped form last season for Arsenal. He was quite instrumental for Real Sociedad during his La Liga days. In football, nothing is impossible. There's a here we go for Rodri to Barcelona already. They already sold him for a lesser amount than what they initially wanted. I love the understanding between Manchester City and Barcelona, most especially when they're attempting to sign a player from them.
There's no doubt about it, it's a shame because Real Madrid needed a player like Rodri, however, in my personal opinion, I think Rodri will win the Ballon d'Or again. I've seen Rodri in many news reports and the player is happy. Barcelona is really putting together a great squad; apparently, Deco has made some excellent moves and is a great negotiator. Rodri is a player who likes to hold onto the ball in midfield, which gives the forwards time to get forward more quickly. I'm curious to see how Hansi Flick will use him.

Rodri is a player that can offer a lot to team and I will still say Real Madrid did wrong to not sign Rodri. He gives so much balance to a team and coordinates the midfield quite well, and would have been a very good addition to the Real Madrid team. With Rodri playing alongside Bernardo I believe they will have a more strong midfield to challenge perfectly for the title. Madrid now suddenly settling for Zubimendi which personally I think is a downgrade.
This is true, a club will have to inform a player of their wish that they are not in their plans and want to be sold and wait for the players response, if the player chooses to stay they risk the chances of not playing actively just as it happened with Disasi and Sterling at Chelsea. They spend a season or so without active football and that's not good for a professionals so many players end up leaving. In all, any interested team much reach an agreement with both parties (the team and player) before any move can take place. Contract agreement is a very serious agreement and any decision will require both parties agreement again.

Just let him go In fact, the price is 70 million (60 immediately and 10 in easily achievable options) + 5 million (more difficult to achieve options), i.e. 75 million. But the point is not the transfer price, but that Barcelona will pay him 30 million a year for 4 years (extremely generous for an injured player aged 30). You're probably completely unaware of Barcelona's financial problems and the league's restrictions if you're talking about Alvarez? I would be delighted to see Barcelona burn another 150 million on his transfer and then try to register newcomers but unfortunately Atletico are tough in their position.

Beyond any doubt Rodri addition will make the team strength strong but here I will tell you something more like midfield got strong but attack is still lacking like Barcelona are still feeling the lacking of striker. They should really need to seek someone else who can do the ST job in better way. Julian Alveraz is already in transfer hab and even Barcelona are still trying to negotiation with Atlatico Madrid like they are still in hope of signing..... However, what if Barcelona didn't sign Julian Alveraz.? Be honest..... In my opinion Earling Holland will be good option. Because right now he is young and maybe he could also be love to play here at Barcelona to makes rivalry with Kilyan Mbappe. What did you think Guys. Let me know.

Barcelona saw something in Rodri, a player who has consistently performed well for every team he has played for. Age is indeed a factor in the world of sports, but considering Rodri's current condition, I think he is still worth that price, provided he truly makes a tangible contribution at Barcelona. Good example is Harry Kane, his transfer from Tottenham Hotspur to Bayern Munich cost €95,000,000. However, since he began making a tangible contribution to Bayern Munich, the price has not been an issue.
