IMO, Arsenal shouldn't wait for Zubimendi to force a move; Arsenal should sell him and make some money off the deal. There's already a rumour that Lewis Skelly is unsettled following the purchase of Guimarães from Newcastle United. He has been linked with Man United and Chelsea. If the rumour were to be true, selling Zubimendi might make him change his mind and stay at Arsenal. Lewis Skelly is the future and Arsenal shouldn't lose him.
Arsenal, having won the championship, are certainly aiming to prove that they can remain at the top of the list. For this reason, with his latest transfer moves, he has demonstrated to other teams his financial capacity and the fact that he wants to remain in control of his type of game, if not enhance it further.

Barcelona signing rodri is one of the best transfer of this season, since the start of the transfer window all teams have been trying to reinforce there midfield but lacked quality midfielder but at last Barcelona finding a way to his signature is a prove that they will be one of the best team next season. Still surprised how the storyline changed, at first it was a move to Real Madrid that was mentioned but at last what we are seeing is different from the first expectation of all but all happened just to confirm the uncertainty in the world of football. In football it is not over until it is over
With the purchase of Rodri, Barcelona has certainly made a great coup because purchasing the Golden Ball will certainly give an even more acute reinforcement to Barcelona's midfield, which already has an excellent defense, now an excellent midfield and excellent flanks. It would only be missing the icing on the cake as an attacking nine.

Wan Bissaka moves to the Aston Villa. It seems he can't no longer to play in the Championship level and he decides to join Villa. This is not a great signing, but much needed by Villa because they're lacking of the depth in their RB positions. His moves is also making Villa won't force their player such as Konsa to play as RB when Cash won't available. However, I only commenting on how a bit pricey he is for 25 mil, but it means nothing because adding him solving one of Villa's probelm. This will become underrated addition, but he will have decent performance. So it gives emery more ways to rotate his team. Not a good signing?! Must be pure day dreaming to spill these words. Aaron may not be the best when attacking, maybe not better than Matt Cash but, one thing is sure, he will cover every where whenever he is defending. Meanwhile Konsa has already been sold to Arsenal today, so it is a wise move here. He will be playing both in the Champions League competition and Premier league. I believe he will be a starter and Lindelof must be the guy giving ideas of getting him. Players like Aaron Wan Bissaka good for an underdog club like Aston Villa. They always shine when they play for clubs like this. He will be a success for them. I don't even know why that Left back playing for West Ham United is yet to be signed out, he is too good to be playing in the Championship with West ham United but it seems loyalty is everything for him.

Has Manchester City already given up even before the beginning of the season? Or is the players not willing to play under Maresca? I can see that players that Pep Guardiola signed are trying to leave the club at the time when the club needs them the most, Rodri left, now Tijjani Reijinders has also left, and I haven’t seen a lot of signings Maresca has done since he joined the team. They have signed five players which I don’t think have quality close to those that left the club, but what can we say, as rival fans, we just need to stay and observe. No more Pep Guardiola, we will both enjoy the premier league now, but I think it will not be easy for Maresca in his first season.

I don't Rejinders was able to constantly meet expectations but still letting two midfielders leave especially Rodri will be a lot but they have signed Anderson which is a good addition yet more is expected to be added after all Bernardo Silva is also out. City havd not be having a constant solid midfield overall in past seasons and things might be more difficult I believe Enzo Maresca will be well aware of this and if nothing serious is done now by January I exodus something.

( Source) Bernardo Silva reportedly just had his official introduction at Real Madrid. And he seems very happy to be playing for the team he’s loved since he was young ( Source). Silva still seems to need some time to adjust to the Real Madrid squad. And even though he hasn’t yet made a particularly standout appearance in his few matches with Real Madrid in friendly games. But I personally believe that Bernardo Silva will surely adapt quickly to Real Madrid’s style of play. He is a player with enough experience to perform in various situations by having played in several major leagues across different countries so far. On the other hand Bernardo Silva will also be part of a Real Madrid squad that is ready to support one another at every moment. And I’m confident that Bernardo Silva’s move to Real Madrid will have a very positive impact on the team. His extensive experience in a professional football career will be very useful for him to make significant contributions. He just needs to stay focused so he can give his best. And I’m confident he’ll become one of the key players on the Real Madrid squad. What are your thoughts?

I’ve heard rumors about Osimhen in this transfer window, he’s been linked to two Premier League teams, Arsenal and Tottenham, who seem to be competing to sign this Galatasaray striker.
I remember Osimhen once saying that his dream was to play in the Premier League. and if Arsenal or Tottenham manages to sign Osimhen from Galatasaray, that would also fulfill the player’s dream of playing in the Premier League.
however reports suggest that Galatasaray has set a price tag of around 70–75 million euros for any club interested in signing Osimhen. To be honest, I think this price is very realistic. I even thought Osimhen was worth more than that. What do you guys think about this news?
I’ve also heard this news, but I don’t know for sure if it’s true or not. However, let’s assume this rumor is true. In that case, Tottenham will be the ones to take the lead in signing Osimhen because they’re undergoing major changes to improve the team’s quality. As for Arsenal, it’s not that they aren’t interested in Osimhen, it’s just that they don’t want to get caught up in a bidding war. After all, they already have Gyökeres. But as for Tottenham, even if Galatasaray sets the price at around 70 million euros, they’ll definitely buy him. That’s because Tottenham’s transfer policy right now is absolutely crazy. They’re willing to pay a premium for players whose profiles are far below market value.

And I really don't understand what Real Madrid's financial situation has to do with Barcelona's.
I used Madrid to show that simply mentioning Barcelona's debt without context is wrong. I tried to show you that every other big club has debt just like Barcelona; that was why I mentioned those other top clubs and their gross debt. It's pretty easy to understand. Most times people just use "Barcelona is owing $1.4 billion" to troll Barcekona without realising even their club also has a debt similar to that amount. I agree that debt needs context, and that's actually my point, because simply saying that Real Madrid, Chelsea, United (or any other club) also have X or Y million euros in gross debt doesn't really prove anything. I think you actually said it yourself in a previous post: it depends on what the debt was used for. There is good debt and bad debt. That applies to regular people and companies too, not just football clubs. The Catalan team still has a huge debt, over the last years they improved their situation because they had no other choice, they had to. But they are not out of the woods, absolutely not.
I never said they were out of the mess. What you said was their financial situation is "still a disaster" which is not true. I have tried to explain to you how they are not anybody. They are not out of the woods, but they are not a disaster. Maybe disaster was a bit too strong, I can agree with that, and I am aware that their financial situation has improved over the last few years. What I was trying to point out is that I'm not sure there is another big European club in the same (or even a similar) financial situation. As far as I know, Real Madrid have never been even close to Barcelona's financial situation so, once again, why did you even mention Real Madrid in this topic?
Was Madrid the only club I mentioned in this discussion? What happened to the other clubs? I only tried to use these clubs' debts (gross debts and player transfer fees debt) to show that the debt of Barcelona is taken out of context. I also used Real Madrid to show you how La Liga FFP works. If I'm not mistaken, in the course of this discussion, I also mentioned how most La Liga clubs are suffering because of it. Sure, Real Madrid wasn't the only club you mentioned, but I focused on them because you brought them up as an example of a club with a similar level of gross debt. My point is simply that comparing the gross debt of different clubs doesn't really tell us whether their financial situations are comparable. It's not that simple, and I think we both agree on that. And regarding La Liga's FFP, surely the system plays a role in Barcelona's situation, and I know that other Spanish clubs are affected by it too. But Barcelona's restrictions imposed by La Liga are (were?) a consequence of their financial situation, not the other way around.

This is a great transfer for Aston Villa. There's no doubting Wan-Bissaka's quality and experience, so he's likely to make a significant contribution to Aston Villa. I like Wan-Bissaka's style of play because he has excellent physicality, allowing him to defend well and trouble opposing defenses. And regarding Wan-Bissaka's transfer fee of 25 million, I think it's worth it considering the player's quality.
I like him too because of his physicality. He's very strong and defends very well. He was West Ham's best player for the last two seasons, and he also had a great campaign last season despite West Ham being relegated. So I'm not surprised Aston Villa was keen on his signature. AWB is a good signing, and I'm confident he will do well at Villa.

Anyway, Man City needs a new midfielder after Rodri agreed to go to Barcelona. Even though there are other player options, it seems Man City still has a chance to make an offer to Chelsea. Even though the price might come down with tough negotiations, I’m sure Man City will have to pay quite a lot.
After watching Manchester City yesterday I will say they truly need to sign Enzo Fernandez even if they get to sign Bouyaddi because they seriously lack midfield depth. Also I think Manchester City needs to act fast because the current situation at Real Madrid which is them looking for a defensive midfielder could bring them desperately back to Enzo Fernandez Bringing both of them in would be great for Man City's midfield. But will the club management actually go through with it? I think it's more likely that Man City will get just one of them. We will see the results at the end of the transfer window but Chelsea are still open for talks with Man City. But it will be a blow for Man City if Madrid come into this drama.

However, I only commenting on how a bit pricey he is for 25 mil, but it means nothing because adding him solving one of Villa's probelm. This will become underrated addition, but he will have decent performance. So it gives emery more ways to rotate his team. I think Wan Bissaka move to Aston Villa has nothing to do with playing in Championship, Aston Villa needs him and they go for him, Wan Bissaka is a very good right back that any team can trust, most premier league wingers know him because he is very strong and a team that want to win a match needs him. Aston Villa did not have a good tight back, sometimes they forced Center backs to play as right back and that affect the team in some games because a center back performance is different from a natural right back. This signing obviously gives more benefit for him and it's hard to reject. Imagine you get relegated to the Championship, then a club comes to you like a savior that bring you back to the EPL and UCL. It's such a fortune for him, you know. Wan-Bissaka is definitely Premier League material. He's not as strong in the attacking department as he is defensively—a super defensive-oriented player—and Villa will definitely benefit from him. He will expand Villa's defensive capabilities, making this a positive transfer for both the club and the player.
True, having him will provide more option for emery to adjust his tactic. When he being deployed, Emery can hope him to cover the backline while he can order matseen to play a bit higher. So he's not best, but can give the help for his club when he's needed. They can't also keep cash to play entire season. So a rotiation has to be made as a preparation for a very long season to come soon.

Ultimately, we're confident that Lewis-Skelly will remain at the Emirates because we believe he's a long-term project who can make a difference for Arsenal. In this regard, I don't want to overstate things by comparing him to other great Arsenal players who are homegrown.
Arteta undoubtedly has the desire to create a long winning streak for Arsenal and write history again. As a result, i don't think there's any problem with a player who can be an excellent player, but who tends to act like a sole protagonist. You must always play for the team and understand that what the coach does, he does for the good of the team, regardless of themselves. After last season and behavior in Champions League for me they can, positive outlook to Arse.

Tijjani Reijinders has left Manchester City and joined the Saudi Arabia team, Al Qadisiya who finished fourth in the Saudi league last season. Manchester City posted it themselves on their official X account just minutes ago.
What do you think of this transfer? It’s a lucrative deal for the midfielder and a good signing for the Saudi Pro League side but what do you think about Manchester City’s performance this season? They just sold two midfielders from the team.. Rodri and Reijinders, will this not affect their general performance in the season about to start? Share your thoughts.
Leaving Manchester City was a very good move for Tijjani Reijinders but what I don't think was a good decision for the 28-year-old Netherlands international was signing for a Saudi Pro League at this time of this career. He's still a top player who came to Manchester City as one of the most sought after players so I expected him to move to another top European club. But I think he accepted the deal to join Al Qadisiya because of how lucrative it was. Hopefully, he'll still be good enough to get international call ups.

In their last friendly match against Desportivo, he wasn't really that conversant with the style of play in Real Madrid, he will need some time to be able to blend properly.

I was in awe reading that part of his post. He will not give you the offensive style you want, but if you're to play him to his strength which is to be defensive, you have one of the very in that role. I'm sire Unai Emery knows that. Not just Raheem Sterling but also Kylian Mbappe during that Champions league fixture between Manchester United and PSG. Even Wilfred Zaha one of the best dribblers then in the Premier League Competition can also agree that he is one of the best 1v1 defenders in the world and in the Premier League Competition.

I really don't have any issue with Barcelona signing Rodri but there is a feeling I am having, I feel to an extent this might not outrightly be too much of a good signing for Barca, this is because Rodri is a player that is over 30 and it is looking as though that knee injury that made him go a long time out of play and to a large extent they are still managing him, and that is the major reason Real Madrid didn't get him. Although this move is seen as homecoming for him because he is a Spaniard and the tax difference will be obviously have its own effect when compared to England.
Rodri performance in the 2024/25 season has been hampered by an ACL and that has left him without much to contribute at Man City. So this ACL can also continue at Barcelona, especially when it comes to the quality of management of the club's health coach who cannot take maximum care of his players. Well Barcelona are gambling with Rodri so there is no guarantee that his contribution can really help Barcelona. Remember the injured players in Hansi Flick eyes will not be so prioritized. There are many examples that end up just filling the bench. Because what I know is that Hansi Flick likes injured players the least. He could have appointed a much healthier and more promising young player. Sincerely speaking, if am to be a coach, I won't sign Rodri, this is not to say that he is not a good player, he is definitely that you would need for your central midfield, I saw what he did in the just concluded World cup for the Spanish team, he was the fulcrum that controlled the movement of the entire Spanish midfield, but why would you want to gamble it by signing when you know how injury prone he can be. Liverpool haven't recovered from the money they spent in buying Alexander Isak, that's what injury does to a player and a team.

He's still a top player who came to Manchester City as one of the most sought after players so I expected him to move to another top European club. But I think he accepted the deal to join Al Qadisiya because of how lucrative it was. Hopefully, he'll still be good enough to get international call-ups.
Most of the players who make that move to the Saudi pro league all do it because of the financial advantage the deal offers although for this own case, he still has some playing time in him because 28years old is still fresh and active for a top player, I think he has like two or three years in him before he reaches that stage of actually moving to the Saudi pro league to relax because that's every players goal when they reach that age.

There were some reports that Real Madrid was in talks with him. However, Barcelona finalized the deal earlier. They now have one of the best midfielders in the world.
He actually showed interest and wanted to move to Realmadrid before Barcelona step up their game and also enter the race of signing him. The fee they put on him was high , that doesn't mean Realmadrid can't afford him but at some point he shut the door on Realmadrid and prefer to go to Barca only. Barcelona signing him wasn't like finalised earlier than Realmadrid, infact they were late to whole signing of a thing but they got the advantage of preference at the same time from Rodri.
