I really don't have any issue with Barcelona signing Rodri but there is a feeling I am having, I feel to an extent this might not outrightly be too much of a good signing for Barca, this is because Rodri is a player that is over 30 and it is looking as though that knee injury that made him go a long time out of play and to a large extent they are still managing him, and that is the major reason Real Madrid didn't get him. Although this move is seen as homecoming for him because he is a Spaniard and the tax difference will be obviously have its own effect when compared to England.

I am sure that the purchase of Rodri by Barcelona is the most profitable purchase that we will see on the pitch in this transfer window by Barcelona.
I really hope he'll be useful and that he'll be able to do well at Barcelona, I'm very confident that he will succeed.

His age is already 30 years old and he is now prone to injury of course makes this a very risky recruit for Barcelona although I do not deny that Rodri is a player who has above average quality and he will certainly be able to contribute greatly to the Barcelona team but that happens if he is in good condition and does not suffer from injuries but no one can guarantee that and besides that with a very high transfer fee I think Barcelona management is again making a gamble on this transfer although I also hope Barcelona management is successful this time.

Arsenal needs to sign a very good winger that will create chances for them and trouble defenders.
I don’t know what they are still waiting for. I know they have been doing very well in this transfer window, but what is remaining for them right now is to sign a very good winger if they can get a very good winger that knows how to dribble, create chances, score goals and give assist then they can win the champions league title.

Right now no team can challenge them in Premier league, they are the best team in the Premier league and I’m sure they are going to lift the Premier league title again.
The coach has already built a very strong and consistent team that can take down any team in England.
But they should fine a way to sign a winger it’s very important.
If arsenal should get another good winger it will make them more dangerous, especially someone who can take on defenders and create something when the game is tight. Arsenal squad is already strong but having another player who can change a game from the wing would give arteta more options.

Arsenal is facing premier league and champions league which they already have more matches to play and I would not even say the leagues are already guaranteed though. But if they can keep their energy, rotate well and get extra attacking quality, I think they have a very good chance of competing for both trophies.

Victor will prefer to move to Arsenal since Tottenham will not be playing in the UEFA Champions League.
If both clubs were to make the same offer, then Arsenal would certainly still be the logical choice. At Arsenal, Osimhen would have a great opportunity to have an outstanding career by winning the EPL title and potentially achieving even greater success in the UCL.

But, playing for Arsenal would not be easy for a player who has no experience in the EPL. Osimhen would undoubtedly face a great deal of pressure, especially the pressure to perform well in order to win trophies. On top of that, competition in the EPL is extremely difficult. If a player's mentality is not truly prepared for it, his career could ultimately appear less successful.

Signing Rodri is a huge and big upgrade from Barcelona, and it would put them in a position where they stand a chance of winning the Champions League as one of the favorites, I think Barcelona are building a team that is capable of winning both La Liga and Champions League, him moving to Barcelona after Real Madrid was the most interested team in  about him, and he chooses to move to Barcelona, I think that is where Barcelona have won in this transfer window, now is left for the players to show that zeal and passion to thrive in, with different stars and caliber of players, I think Barcelona doesn’t have any excuse now not to win the Champions League, or probably winning a Treble.
Barcelona winning the La Liga have or was never a challenge for them because they've won it as the years passes by. Barcelona are giant in La Liga and have proven countless times that they're capable of dominating La Liga but where they do have problem is the UEFEA Champions League trophy. This is the big boys tournament and Barcelona have thrive harder and harder all to no avail. They won't give up now that they're closer to winning the UEFEA Champions League, they just have to keep making predictable moves in other to get themselves up and running.

Rodri now in the Midfield, it's going to be a balance standard for them because what they lack is here and Hansi Flick will look forward to ensuring he's making the moves to compete for UEFEA Champions League trophy next season.

It's confirmed that Tijjani Reijnders has moved to Al-Qadsiah.. the decision seems rather foolish to some, as he's not an aging player and remains quite productive while playing for one of the world's most prestigious clubs. However, he's likely prioritizing the salary he'll receive with this transfer, as it's estimated he could earn €100 million throughout the duration of his contract in Saudi Arabia and would likely become a key player at the club, compared to if he stayed at Manchester City, where he would likely only be a rotation player and receive a lower salary.. so the decision was not entirely detrimental to him, in fact it was more beneficial for him, especially since Al-Qadsiah is undertaking a project to build their team, he could gain more benefits.

Come on, let's be serious: Reijinders highly underperformed in the Premier League, he was barely playing, and this year nothing would have changed. Then he receives a 20-million yearly salary offer for five years, and you think he was going to turn it down to... Challenge himself? If you were a decent player (because this is what Reijinders is, a decent player), would you ever turn down 100 millions "to challenge yourself"?

Reijinders definitely didn’t perform as expected of him in the premier league and maybe that’s why Maresca doesn’t include him in his project, this deal is probably the best decision for him because he’d go where he’ll play as a star and recieve a higher salary rather than staging at Manchester City and end up not getting enough playing minutes or even been loaned out to a smaller team.

Barcelona winning the La Liga have or was never a challenge for them because they've won it as the years passes by. Barcelona are giant in La Liga and have proven countless times that they're capable of dominating La Liga but where they do have problem is the UEFEA Champions League trophy. They won't give up now that they're closer to winning the UEFEA Champions League, they just have to keep making predictable moves in other to get themselves up and running.

Winning the Laliga was never a challenge to Barcelona? Nahh I don’t think so, just because they won twice in a row doesn’t make winning the trophy against Real Madrid easy. With the level of talent in both teams, this season would be challenging for both of them in competing for the trophy is they meet their expectations.

Champions League is Barcelona’s weakness for sure, imagine being knocked out by Atletico Madrid with their form last season, so with their signings they should produce a better result than that of last season.

Money from oil in the Middle East is always more lucrative although this looks annoying but I think Tijani is realistic with the income he will get later when he is in Al-Qadsiah. He's a great player and we all know that, if he wants to compete he's still very capable of doing that anywhere but Tijani seems to prefer the life he's going to have.

One more Dutch player who went to the SPL and in this season 2 core players from the Dutch national team whose performance is in a good trend to go to the SPL considering that before Tijani who went to Al-Qadsiah there was Summerville whose performance was on the rise at West Ham who went to Al-Hilal.

Actually I was waiting for Salah to go to the SPL because in recent seasons it was always crowded about him, but Trabzonspor made the buzz.

In my opinion, what Rodri is set to do at Barcelona is something Pedro was already doing very creditably. 75 million for a 30-year-old player is no small sum, and there’s no guarantee he will be able to maintain the same standard for the entire duration of his contract. Certainly, in the short term, Barcelona will see a step up in quality and Pedro will be moved to a different position; at this point, De Jong is starting to look like surplus.
Is there any player for whom there is a guarantee that he will maintain that standard for the entire duration of their contract? Why is everybody suddenly skeptical of Rodri going to Barcelona? If he had gone to Real Madrid, would you guys have been saying this? Rodri is the best player in his position. There is no better defensive midfielder in the world. Rodri and Pedri don't play the same position. Pedri is a central midfielder.
You still don't know Real Madrid, hence your a player that has hit 30 years, your contract with madrid will likely be one year renewal until you finally leave. Then imagine a Real Madrid board going for a player that is already 30 with so much injury prone situation. From the beginning of the rumors of Real Madrid move, I knew it won't have a headway, Real are skeptical in signing a player of that age.

If both clubs were to make the same offer, then Arsenal would certainly still be the logical choice. At Arsenal, Osimhen would have a great opportunity to have an outstanding career by winning the EPL title and potentially achieving even greater success in the UCL.

It's very easy to see that these reports aren't true. The report says Osimhen turned down a salary that was double his current one. Why would he do something like that? It's as if he were a Galatasaray fan from birth and was turning down such an astronomical offer.
Another inconsistency is the transfer fee figures. I look at one news and it says 60 million, then I look at another one and it says 150 million. Could there really be such a huge discrepancy in the figures? Galatasaray already paid a record transfer fee for him and they're still making payments on it. Why would he leave unless a very high offer came along?
Besides, this was talked about a lot last year too, but no team ever made a bid for him. Aside from the Arab leagues and Galatasaray, no other team wanted him. If an offer had come from a Top 5 league, he definitely would've gone. Major clubs aren't interested in him because of his undisciplined behavior and his tendency to disrupt team chemistry. If he were a team player, Arsenal would've signed him. As it stands, no one wants to touch him.

Barcelona had no intention to sign Rodri to be part of their midfielders at first , it only changed when another news of possible injury for De jong surfaced again(not sure you were current with that).

Have you seen De Jong on the field lately ?

Barcelona needed a midfielder at the moment to take his place, and thankfully,  Rodri  was available.

When D Jong comes back from injury, he can relief anyone for some matches. More options means pedri can rest when needed and for now, there's Gavi, Pedri , olmo, Fermin and Bernal on the list aswell.

If he had gone to Real Madrid, would you guys have been saying this? Rodri is the best player in his position. There is no better defensive midfielder in the world. Rodri and Pedri don't play the same position. Pedri is a central midfielder.

Harry Kane was signed by Bayern Munich when he was 30, for 100 million, and he has turned out to be good, so why is Barcelona signing Rodri for 60 million such a bad deal? Is there any club in Europe that will say "No" to Rodri? Having an extra midfielder in Frenkie won't hurt anybody. There are so many games in the season. I believe Rodri will be a very good signing for Barcelona. As long as he stays fit, he would be elite.
One thing you need to understand is, before Harry Kane was moved to Bayern Munich, he was hungry for a trophy so he would do everything possible to give his best to win, unlike Rodri who has won everything with Manchester City, he's won the UEFA Champions League, he's won the Ballon D'or, he's won the world cup golden ball, and he's 30 now, so he won't be that desperate any more, I don't say he won't play well, but he will never be that desperate to win again, and he's an injury prone, so the case of him and Harry Kane is totally different.

Reijnders went to the Saudi Pro League because of the personal terms agreed upon.

Al-Qadsiah agreed to a 4 +1- years contract worth around €61 million (£52m).

Annual salary is €20 million per year. A total of €100 million in five years. He receives roughly €384,600/week, almost €400,000.

Only 2 players in the Premier League receive up to £350week. Erling Haaland gets £525k/week and Virgil van Dijk gets £350k/week. Bukayo Saka receives £300k/week.

A good player who came to the Premier League Competition only for him to flop to hard just like Kalvin Philips.

That's a whole lotta big bucks for a flop.

He will most definitely improve when he gets to settle down in the Saudi Arabian league competition. But again, that is a whole lotta money.

Jack Grealish a flop is someone who is also not talked about alot. I see he will be returning back to Manchester City under Enzo Maresca. I wonder what happens to Jeremy Doku and the  new youngster signed up from Brazil?

All this players were practically signings made with huge money by Pep Guardiola and every time they don’t actually work out the board goes in the next summer to get him another player they wish could fit into his squad. If we want to look at Pep guardiola failed signings I think we will have far more than a whole full first eleven but until the very end he was backed by the board and we all know what he did for them later. He took the club to an height they have never reached.

Why am I bringing this, it’s because of Manchester United that hardly trust or back their managers after just one season and that’s why they still have dead woods in the team. If they sign a player this season and it doesn’t works out they don’t easily move away from the player

But unfortunately, that exact profile of player is currently not available in the market or do you know of anyone at the moment?. The thing is, they actually have the money to spend, but there are no available wingers with such qualities. Barcalo is the only winger that comes close, but he has finishing issues, I.e, he's not a good goal scorer like other wingers and judging by what PSG is going to demand. And honestly, I agree that a quality winger is what they actually need at the moment especially for their European competition. They can actually compete well in the premier league with their current sqaud. We're still a few days away from the transfer window deadline, so I believe some players would have to leave before others can come in.

The solid players and structure that Pep built are falling so fast, or should I say are being changed so fast? It's going to be an entirely new Manchester City team we're going to see, one where there's a mixture of new and old players, players who have played under the philosophy of the old coach for many years and players who have just been introduced to the team by the new coach. I don't see a possibility where a team like this that is very unstable with players leaving and other players unsatisfied progresses, and so my prediction for Manchester City this season is that they're going to struggle a lot and find it hard to even maintain a top four position on the Premier League table.

Exactly, there is not real winger out there and that why we have heard arsenal being linked the players like even Pedro Neto recently. They know they need a winger but no good one in the market right now. Barcola is likely to move to Liverpool, and judging from the fee PSG is demanding I don’t think he is worth that amount. Maybe for this season arsenal will have to play without a proven winger on that left hand side.

Martinelli have been linked to AL Hilal in recent days, if Arsenal should let him go then they will have just Tzoli their new academy boy there. I believe the board will look for a possible solution before the window closes.

Some persons were saying that Real Madrid lost out in the signing of Rodri and aren't happy that he ended up signing for their biggest Spanish rivals and it's funny to read.

Looking at the Rodri contract with Barcelona, I know he'll surely not get similar agreement with Real Madrid, maybe that's the reason he decided to go to where he'll get a long contract.

For player that rarely plays full season without getting injured since the last two seasons, it's not possible for Florentino Perez to give him a four-year contract.

I'm not disputing the fact that he's very good and will make a very good signing for Barcelona when fit, but I'm not convinced that Real Madrid will table same offer for the 30-year-old

Arteta have been talking about Arsenal not done in the transfer market and it seems like they haven't gotten over the Vinicius deal that went off but that's by the way, looking at this player, if the Gunners should get hold of this player Kenan Yıldız I don't think it will be easy for other teams they play against and the fans won't be too pressured if they play against teams like Manchester City, Bayern, Real Madrid or even Barcelona etc, they'd have the confidence of matching them up. Is not certain yet but if Madueke can't step up his game I believe that Saka will only have Yıldız to worry about, what's your take on this?

I don’t think Arsenal are signing Kenan Yildiz as a back up for either Saka or Madueke because they are both right wingers while Yildiz is a left Winger same as Tzoli and Martinelli. This recent interest actually points to one thing, Arsenal wants an explosive left winger this summer that can win them games and not depending heavily on the right wing alone as they have done in years and this was clearly shown as they had great interest in Vinicius junior earlier on.

If we look at last season Arsenal had Trossard as there main left winger and we all know he came up with some big goals that won them the league and I think they want someone who can match or even surpass that numbers this season and seriously Yildiz is good pick. But this signing will come at the detriment that Arsenal will let Martinelli to leave and for me it’s a great business because martinelli obviously isn’t looking like he will improve more than he is now and a change for both club and player will be interesting to explore

I agree with you but when you see a manager who's still having that hunger to continue winning games and trophies you'd know, and Arteta is that same man like Pep, because they don't want to take any chances even if Yıldız will play the right wing and bring better results Arteta will do it and with the recent rumor of Martinelli leaving the club it can be that Arsenal might still get his signature, talking about Yıldız. I can tell you for free that Arteta would be more happier if Vinicius Jr had signed for Arsenal, this could be another reason why they are still searching for more good wingers because from what I'm seeing, Arsenal might still be heading back to the UCL finals to correct their mistakes and win it, time will tell.
You just spoke my mind, Martinelli leaving won't affect the team when they play instead it will be Trossard that will be missed. Right from when Arsenal played against Liverpool and won when Klopp was the manager and he (Klopp) said Martinelli will be something special very soon, that's if he keeps up that momentum he brought in that game against the Red but up till now no improvement, he's still learning how to take defenders on and give the last touch that will result to a goal. If he leaves and Yıldız comes in, I believe Arsenal are set to hit the ground running.

I’m so happy for Barcelona like they got what they wanted, Rodri will be playing for the club. The deal is officially, a four years contract. If Real Madrid wanted the player they would’ve made moves earlier not now when Barca got the deal though from my view I don’t see Rodri as that perfect, this has nothing to do with age instead I have watched Rodri play for a very long time and that’s my impression of him although he’s a good player but, I don’t agree the perfect tag. Barcelona is already doing well, he’s adding to the team in what ever way obviously Hansi saw potentials and decided to make a deal, let’s watch out what this four years will look like for Rodri.
