The way Manchester City are letting players leave the club even on loan doesn't say good about them this season, these are good players that we thought would transform the club, making them the beast that they are but letting them go is like they are not good enough, Savinho left, Reijnders followed and now we have Marmoush on his way out, I shouldn't talk about Rodri and Bernardo Silva because they have served the club for longer time than these other ones, well some will say they need playing time but I don't think so because they are better than some player like Semenyo. My concern is, what is Tottenham cooking?
Apart from Rodri and Bernardo Silva, the rest of the players leaving Manchester City are not actually part of the first team players. They were all back up players. I believe Manchester City are clearing them out to enable the new manager have room to recruit new players that are not feeling entitled to starting lineups. City are also recruiting new players, and with the new arrivals, it’s looking like players like Savio, Reijnders, and Omar Marmoush had fallen far behind the picking orders, so the best option for the club is to let them go while they’re still having a higher market value.

🚨💣 EXCLUSIVE: Liverpool open talks to sign Ismaila Sarr as new winger! 🔴🇸🇳
Move follows Minteh deal called off due to Brighton requests.
Liverpool sent a proposal worth around £50m for Senegal winger who’s keen on move.
Crystal Palace already rejected two bids from Galatasaray.
I was expecting Liverpool to go for Ismaïla Sarr since when he was playing for Watford and scored that goal back then in 2020, he was on fire as of then but Liverpool stayed calm and allowed him be but going for him now is still a welcome development, he can contribute more for the Reds. For me £50m is a little bit small for this player, maybe £65m.

link to post£45m for Delap? Someone we all agree is a flop? How did Chelsea manage to convince Nottingham Forest to pay this high to get Delap? The agent that is handling Chelsea transfer negotiation deserve a pay rise for his incredible job. If I remember correctly, Chelsea got this guy for £30m at his peak. He flopped at Chelsea but they however managed to get profit on his deal. I hope Nottingham Forest can revive his career and get the best from him. Wow, wow. Chelsea is very lucky with this transfer because they managed to sell a failed player for a high price. The agent who handled these transfer negotiations must be one of the most renowned experts in negotiation, so much so that he easily convinced Nottingham to pay £45 million for Delap. I really don’t understand what Nottingham sees in Delap that made them willing to pay such a high price to sign him. Well, let’s just hope Nottingham doesn’t end up deeply disappointed in Delap after having already bought him at such a high price.

If we still remember when Chelsea bought a lot of players and goalkeepers last season and the total number of players is quite a lot, it can be guessed that the club's goal is to invest in order to be sold again at a later date. Now look at Chelsea selling young players who basically don't show much performance on the pitch. But still this is a big advantage for Chelsea, some clubs can be lucky if the players bought can develop better.

I have been keeping an eye on Ismaïla Sarr since United showed interest in him. But there was no clarity and now Galatasaray's offer was also rejected. It seems that Crystal Palace does not want to let their striker go. If Liverpool's first offer is also rejected, they must make a subsequent offer option. If the price is considered not up to Liverpool's standard, they must negotiate further to reach an agreement. Especially if the player himself also wants to move.

Where they came from, they used to start there but it's because Pep was overwhelmed with Manchester City performance that's why he never bothered to make a decision to keep change some players. Sometimes, when you change players too much, it affect the way the team is used to each other that is why they were bench in most games. I guess most of them are tired of lineup and the team doesn't want to lose them as free players, they put them up for sale. My only concern about where they go now thinking that it's going to change their place in the club will be difficult, although I have seen Bernardo Silver start for Real Madrid and was later sub in the later minute but Rodri has not played any game for Barcelona yet for us to confirm if he is going to start for them as first starter or they will bench him too. There is nothing really guaranteed for starting players in any club, they can change as long as it's favoring the team.

He has the legs, pace and experience in the Premier League Competition to make those runs through the channels for Liverpool. I hate that they have delayed making this move for him since. They're a careful side when attempting to sign a player, it is thr beautiful thing I love about Liverpool alone. Not even the move for Miteh who plays for Brighton seem positive. For a player who has good numbers against Liverpool, he will be a good signing for them if it happens.

For me £50m is a little bit small for this player, maybe £65m. From Barcola to Ismail Sarr. It's a huge downgrade for Liverpool. This shows how they're getting so desperate searching for the new winger. It's not worth to pay £50m for 28 years old wingers who may be expired soon. At this point, i'd revert to the Mbaye who is pricing a bit higher than Ismail Sarr. However, i see an update Palace is not putting Ismail Sarr for sale. So let Liverpool to have a migrain to think which good RW they can sign before the deadline. Even if they find an alternative RW, i believe the price will be inflated so much because the seller knows Liverpool is in panic buying mode right now.

like Savio, Reijnders, and Omar Marmoush had fallen far behind the picking orders, so the best option for the club is to let them go while they’re still having a higher market value.
This is something that always happens with every new coach's arrival. There will definitely be players who aren't in Enzo Maresca's plans. But I think the players leaving are those with good loan status. I hope Maresca doesn't regret letting them go someday. Pep's departure seems to have led Man City to offload players who aren't in the new coach Enzo Maresca's plans. After Tijani left for Arabia, today I read that Omar Marmoush, who was brought in from Eintracht Frankfurt, is going to Tottenham. Apparently, Tottenham has to pay £60 million. Meanwhile, Nico Gonzalez is also moving to Newcastle for £52 million. Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/live/cw20vljgz0nxt?post=asset%3Ac2542e4d-ebb5-4c5d-9bb0-bfe7b40c490a

The transfer window is coming to an end a lot of premier league teams are trying to round up. It has been an intense week.
Crystal palace have now announced the signing of Axel Disasi from Chelsea on loan, with palace covering the wages till the end of season.
Manchester city are preparing to make an official bid for Enzo Fernandez, it is said they will send 100 million pounds, which clearly chelsea will reject, because they value the player around 120-130 million
Mallick Diouf have now made a move to Brentford from westham, it really a good move for him, he is not suppose to play in the championship. A move worth around 40 million pounds.
Chelsea are looking to improve their goal keeper area, as they are now in talks with Aston villa Martinez. I think after what sachez did last game, they really need him to come to the bridge.

I am giving it to Chelsea because let’s be honest it’s hard for them to even be making profit from a failed player, and seriously this one thing I have always liked about the club, it was just last season they bought him and immediately he failed to perform he is been shipped away with a £15M profits on it again, this is an outstanding business by Chelsea. Also heard that they are also selling Nicolas Jackson for a fee around £70M plus all bonuses, seriously at this time I think Chelsea does the best business in the league. He may not be like Mo Salah but he is the closest player they can find as a good replacement for Mo Salah. He has the legs, pace and experience in the Premier League Competition to make those runs through the channels for Liverpool. I hate that they have delayed making this move for him since. For so long I have been asking maybe this top 6 clubs do not looking at Ismaila Sarr and what he has done even from his days at Watford or were they simply looking at the option that Crystal Palace wouldn’t want to sell. This is guy can play just everywhere in the attack and that’s the kind of versatility that Liverpool needs. I don’t see Mintey a better option than him, mintey struggled last season and that should be enough reason to go a premier league proven like Sarr

Its gonna be intense until the very end and we will probobly see lots of more signings, teams are currently racing to get some quality players that they are missing. Man City really wants Enzo to replace Rodris place and i think they will step up their bid in trying to get him to sign. Chelsea is still refusing but i think Man City will probobly offer more and get him by the end of the transfer window. Crystal Palace needs players badly and i think this isnt the last signing they will make until the end of the window.

Maybe a new record transfer is just around the corner. The Player is Enzo Fernandez, and Manchester City has offered 145 million euros.
During the WorldCup, Chelsea made a mistake on social media. They posted a positive message, but he scored a goal against England, and that didnt go well. They Chelsea deleted the post, and after that, the atmosphere surrounding Enzo Fernandez was not good. Perhaps it is the best for Chelsea to sell him now for a lot of money and the atmosphere will be fine again.
Real Madrid were also rumored to be interested in him, but for some reason, the transfer didn't happen. Now Manchester City wants Fernandez to strengthen their midfield. Maresca must have a lot of confidence in his former student from Chelsea. He's sure he'll lead Manchester City's midfield. The €70 million budget from Rodri's transfer has made things easier for Manchester City. I think this transfer will happen, and we'll see him playing for Manchester City. I don't think the 70 million euros they got from Rodri make a big difference: the just spent 135 millions for Anderson and 100+ for Bouaddi, which is an insane amount of money for a 19-year-old player. Now we're talking about spending other 140 give or take, that would bring the total up to 375 millions for 3 players. These numbers look (and are) unreal.

Barcelona is one club that has always been trophy minded over doing business and not doing well in major competitions. I disagree with the fact that you insist Barcelona bought Rodri due to pressure, you mean fan pressure or media pressure?
You are getting a World Cup winner and a Ballon d'Or winner as your DMF, and competing for the Champions League, that is exactly the reason Rodri was bought from Manchester City to Barcelona. They not only want to win La Liga but also the Champions League.
Personally, I didn't see Rodri as a good player, but after his performance in the World Cup, I really liked his vision of the game. I would have liked him at Real Madrid, because they obviously need a solid midfielder. I think Rodri has great vision. This time, Barcelona got him, and I don't see him as a bad signing, but I do think he was a bit of an expensive addition. Florentino Pérez, although we know he stays focused on his own strategy, I think he did the right thing by not pushing to sign him. First, because when there was contact during Mourinho's time, Rodri hesitated a lot about leaving, and for that reason alone, Madrid didn't force the move. The only remaining option was Barcelona, he didn't have many choices, it was either Barca or staying at City (which wasn't bad either). Let's wait and see how Rodri performs throughout the season, especially considering he is coming off a serious injury that kept him out of action for a long time. We have to keep all that in mind.

Of course every team buys player with the idea to either sell them for more money or win some trophy thanks to them, this applies to everybody. In this specific case, Barcelona did it for the latter. Of course they know they won't be able to sell Rodri again for 70 millions, anyway Rodri's cost will be absorbed through the years, so it won't be 70 millions forever.
With Rodri’s current condition, they don’t buy him to resell him with profit, they buy him to help them win the Champions League and to continue dominating Laliga because they have seen clearly how Real Madrid is also signing young talented players to make their squad complete, Barcelona also used the opportunity they have to sign Rodri now that he is cheap, they don’t consider how often he get injured, all they wanted is his presence to guide the young midfielders and also make the team looks great again. I think Rodri will likely retire in Barcelona, he is already old, no big team will consider signing him if he spent at least two seasons with Barcelona, and he will also be tired, and will like to retire from Barcelona especially if they win the Champions League. My idea is that Rodri will play for Barcelona even more than 4 years, probably in 3 years he is going to sign for an annual contract extension. After that he could maybe move to the USA to make a new experience, similar to what Sergio Busquets did. Unless he chooses to retire from football relatively young, like Toni Kroos did, but it's more unlikely in my opinion. Rodri is 3 years old already, playing for the next 3 to 4 years now is quite a Big deal, you should know that, to me I'm only expecting the best of him for Barcelona probably this season and next season, that's if injury will let him play, anything 3 years and above he will be thinking of moving to the next league, either Saudi pro league or MLS, but let's just wait and watch how it goes first, who knows he might even be active for the next 5 seasons, we never can tell, but my only concern is he shouldn't end his career like Eden Hazard.

link to post£45m for Delap? It looked crazy at first when I saw the transfer fees for Delap from another source and it was so crazy that I had to confirm it from Fabrizio's wall on X because I didn't believed it that any English side was going to agree to buy him for that amount after playing a full season and scoring only 2 goals. But it's really interesting how Chelsea manage to convince their prospects to buy some of these players at the fees they're sold for. A player they bought at £30 million who could not impress with a great performance, yet, was able to catch a higher fees.

He may not be like Mo Salah but he is the closest player they can find as a good replacement for Mo Salah. He has the legs, pace and experience in the Premier League Competition to make those runs through the channels for Liverpool. I hate that they have delayed making this move for him since. They're a careful side when attempting to sign a player, it is thr beautiful thing I love about Liverpool alone. Not even the move for Miteh who plays for Brighton seem positive. For a player who has good numbers against Liverpool, he will be a good signing for them if it happens.
Another Crystal Palace star getting snatched, I wonder how they plan to work things out thus season hopefully they put their money to good use and get more players with the potentials. A developing player would want to come to Palace from tge fact that tgey would be sold to a top club when they shows interest and couple with the fact that they might be able to get a trophy. Sarr should be on his way out every top players in Palace have gotten good opportunities and now in a bigger team doing well.

It's not that he's a bad player because he failed at Chelsea, maybe he just couldn't find his form at Chelsea. As far as I know, players' performance is not always taken into account when making a transfer, sometimes the transfer price is based on the players' ability and potential. Although I also think that Nottingham Forest are paying a bit too much for Delap! Maybe they see potential in this player, maybe Nottingham Forest's strategy and environment will suit this player. We can tell whether the team's decision was right or wrong by looking at the player's performance throughout the season.

Martinelli is simply one of the many players that didn't keep up with the expectations. If I'm wrong Jurgen Klopp once said "Martinelli is the talent of the century", that happened when he was very young, like 18-19 years old, now he is 25 years old and I don't see any particular improvement. And he had plenty of opportunities. It's the best choice for both parties.
Personally, i see Martinelli as a great player, because he is a very fast player, who knows how to break up matches and who knows how to find very difficult goals in more stable or balanced phases of matches. He is the kind of player that all teams would need to break the game and have that extra step that is needed.

He’s not a great player, he’s not terrible but he’s definitely not a great player. He showed great promise when he first broke in to the Arsenal team but his career has plateaued a bit. If he was a great player he wouldn’t be going to Saudi in his mid 20s.
