The rivalry between Madrid and Atletico is more historical compared to Barcelona and Atletico cause they're a team in same region which makes their derby match very tough maybe that's why Atletico Madrid refused to sell to them despite that they offered more than Barcelona, they even asked Real Madrid to trigger the players €500m release clause just to keep them off.

 Although Real Madrid's bid was a strategic one to hijack the deal from Barcelona but Atletico Madrid has always stood their ground this summer against strengthing their rivals. If the deal was based on players decision he would've choose Barcelona but if not Real Madrid would've signed him cause they submitted a better offer.

Chelsea has really cashed out good profit in this transfer window. With this money alone, they can get two or more younger midfielders that can do the job. They're not playing any European competition this season so they have less to worry about.

But meh EPL teams love throwing big money around in transfer market.

145 million euros for that player, I can say that it is a very large transfer amount.. but considering that this is one of the richest clubs in the Premier League, I am not surprised.

Absolutely right, Chelsea football club are the main beneficiary of the just concluded transfer market, they seem to be more coordinated with the way and manner they were able to sell off some of their players for such outrageous amounts, it's commendable but what's on the mind of everyone right now is what the club intends to do now about replacing the outgoing players because they really have to bring in good players who could adequately cover up the vacuum in the squad, they might not do it immediately but there is going to be another window by January and maybe by then the club might be able to bring in some good players to help the team in their bid to get back to champions league football.

Chelsea as a football club really did well in this past summer transfer window, because they managed to sell off all their unwanted shit players out of the club, and the player they managed to sell that really got me surprised that makes me wonder if they are using voodoo powers to do it, is Tosin and badiachile that were a total shit.

Enzo Fernandes was already a deal that I know will work out after Rodri left Manchester City to Barcelona. Enzo Fernandes will want to join Manchester City as there is a high potential for him to win the champions league trophy which is one of the trophies he’s chasing to win in his career. It was a smooth deal for Chelsea that he was sold to Manchester City for a whopping 125 million euros.

I think this is a good move for Sanchez,  because I don't think he will get to many chance at Chelsea after the signing of Martinez. The manager was disappointed on his performance in their first match, so he had to get another goalkeeper,  which definitely shows that he has lost trust in him.
I really do think that Sanchez is a decent goalkeeper,  but maybe he needs to move on to help improve his confidence.

But, I mean, if even a player like Allan get paid 40 millions, what can I say? Who knows him? What did he achieve in order to be valuated at 40 millions? And if we exclude him, we have three other midfielders paid on average 125 million euros each. Just a few years ago paying a player over 100 millions was seen as super expensive, now it's the new normal. At least in the Premier League.

The wings are still without players like Gakpo even after the signing of Barcola because to be sincere the right wing replacement for Salah isn’t convincing yet to me because I doubt that this Rio can take up that responsibility for a whole Season at least Gakpo can still Manage there also

The purchase of Barcola is certainly an excellent reinforcement regarding the range: i find him a very interesting player because, in my opinion, he has quality that he hasn't yet fully demonstrated. He can do very well, but he still needs to take care of some fundamental points. He has excellent running and excellent dribbling, which however he still needs to understand how to best manage in order to make a difference, unfortunately not at Gakpo's levels in my opinion.

I agree Manchester City overpaid for him. He's just an ordinary player like the rest with no individual impressive performance or stats. The English Premier League PR is very good at hyping their players and before you know it, they'll start calling insane figures on their head. Manchester city are desperate to strengthen their squad, they did not only overpaid for him but also going to be paying him a salary that's almost double of what he earns at Chelsea.

I think the salary part was one of the factors that made Enzo so interested in this move. If you take a look at Manchester city financial history, they're always reckless with spending. Enzo still has a long contract years remaining with Chelsea, they can't just let him go for a cheap price. Seriously, some of this players are highly overrated.

I can understand why Chelsea are pitching their tent on a free agent. The window officially closed early hours of this morning and as it stands, no player can be signed by these clubs till next transfer window but free agents can still be negotiated with to join the clubs that needs them. Chelsea were really interested in signing Lamine Camara as Fernandez replacement with everything set and a fee of almost £50 million agreed upon, the deal broke down in the final minutes because Monaco couldn't secure a move for Balogun who was supposed to move to Everton, his deal broke down and Monaco decided to pull out of a deal with Chelsea. This can be frustrating, I believe that's why Chelsea are turning to a free agent because of the window closure. But since Chelsea knew they were going to sell Fernandez because he wanted to leave the club, tgey should have looked for or possibly get a replacement for him before selling him out, maybe they didn't want to keep an unhappy player in their team but then again, if Manchester City didn't come with that huge amount, will they have sold him?

Even though I was not a Chelsea fan, I really disliked Sanches performance whilst playing with Chelsea, he was terrible, I didn't know how Maresca and Rosenior coped with this horrendous performance. Atleast even with his bad performance he can play good performance at Como as the Italian league isn't as attack furious as that of the Premier League. By the way Como needed another bug signing and the depth needed to play in the Champions League and Serie A.

I totally missed this transfer, had no idea that he left Chelsea. It’s only on loan but probably good for his career and Chelsea themselves as they just signed Martinez.

Chelsea are very poor in management we see him in the last minute of transfer window. If you really want one of your super star leave then you should need to sell at the start of the transfer window you don't need to sell him at the last minute of the transfer window. Chelsea need backup of Enzo otherwise xabi Alonso struggle alot without this guy they are the main controller of this Chelsea team and without Enzo they are nothing Offcource they have more players in that's positions but they will take time to adopt that's place. And Wijnaldum is not a player which can replace Enzo position and he is a player we didn't see in football from the past 3 year. Yeah he was good in Liverpool but as of now he is not the perfect replacement.

The two older players that were signed are welbeck and Jordan Henderson, not Robertson. In fact, they're currently 3 old players, because they recently signed Martinez from Aston Villa. Well, I don't know if this is the kind of deal I would agree to if I were to be a fan of the club. This is a very horrible football deal imo... Selling Enzo just to replace him with a 35 years old who hasn't played in the premier league for about 5 years now. I honestly don't see it as a smart move.

As far as the premier league is concerned, experience is never enough considering the fact that physicality also plays a major role. If he's still that good at age 35, I don't think he'd be a free agent. And moreover, there's already a news that Chelsea were never interested.

After all the rumors that Wijnaldum to Chelsea is 90% done, Chelsea will not sign the 35 years old midfielder. The Dutch midfielder is one of the experienced midfielders in the Premier League back then for Liverpool, but we don’t think if he still has the quality to play in the Premier League. I was surprised that Chelsea will sign Wijnaldum again after signing two old players this summer, Chelsea need young midfielder to support Caceido because Lavia is an injury player.

I don’t think Chelsea will have the chance to sign any young midfielder this summer, perhaps they will wait until the January transfer to sign another midfielder. They can also bid for Lamine Camara, I think Monaco is not ready to let the player go this summer. Xabi Alonso needs to manage the available players until the next window. James can also play as a midfielder, but I hope injuries do not affect him.
